Guests often find their stay at Pelagos Suites Hotel & Spa to be a delightful experience, thanks to its engaging atmosphere and family-friendly entertainment, despite some areas lacking vibrancy. Its central location earns high marks for convenience. While the rooms are appreciated for their spaciousness, a few visitors have pointed out cleanliness and noise issues.

Detailed Reviews
After having two holidays cancelled due to Covid, we finally found this one in Kos. The photographs of this hotel do not do it justice at all. Wow! It's beautiful. Very modern, water everywhere, even part of the dining room is over water. Our room was perfect, very spacious with a king size bed, loads of storage, new TV, tea & coffee facilities, fridge, safe and very large bathroom with modern shower and a proper hairdryer.
The food was excellent. There was a very good variety of dishes every day, all delicious. On entering the restaurant, we were given fine gloves to wear so that nobody touched the serving ladles or spoons. This worked very well and every guest adhered to it.
The drinks were all local and were very acceptable. The AI drinks stopped at 11 PM. After this you could purchase branded drinks from the top shelf.
All of the pools were a little cold when first stepping in, but once fully submerged they are lovely, and you can get a good swim.
Because of Covid, the on site animation team did most of the evening entertainment. Mostly dancing, karaoke and a bit of audience participation games.
Whilst we were there we did not need to wear masks at any time which was wonderful. But the staff in the bars, restaurants and reception all wore masks.
This is a fantastic holiday resort and I would definitely recommend it.

We booked through tui a week before departure as Kos was not on the quarantine list and we just wanted a week of normality in the sun. The hotel, rooms and grounds are beautiful and the staff are all friendly.
The food has been lovely, breakfast and lunch are pretty much the same every day but there is always something different on an evening. The service in the buffet is not the best, many times we didnt get the drinks we asked for or had to wait 5/10 minutes after sitting for someone to bring our cutlery over. You don't need to wear masks in the restaurants just gloves and everything is self serve. I didnt like this particularly with covid I feel that you should wear masks when getting your food but that is just a personal preference. There is no social distancing at all in the restaurant it is just a bit of a free for all so if you are funny about the whole social distancing then this may not be the hotel for you.
The snack bar at the pool was great, chocolate crepes were delicious! The drinks aren't the best at the hotel but for the price we paid for the holiday we weren't expecting much. I would be pretty miffed if we had paid full price as a lot of the cocktails are not included in the all inclusive package which I find bizarre. I have never stayed at an all inclusive where strawberry daquiri and pina colada are not on the standard cocktail list (€10 a go at this hotel). Also be prepared to queue for your drinks at the bar they are very short staffed so sometimes had to join a queue if wanting a drink through the day. We learnt to go to the quieter pool with the swim up bar to avoid queues as it was always dead round there.
We rented bikes from the hotel (€5 each per day) and cycled to kos town. If you go out of the hotel towards the beach and turn left there is another bike rental shop and they are only €3.50 from there - there is also a mini market there too :)
Would recommend the zia by sunset trip, we booked a meal at oromedon and watched the sunset it was one of the most memorable part of our holidays. We also did the 3 kos island trip with Christina at the harbour and that was a lovely day out too.
All in all we have had a lovely holiday.

after the dreadful year of covid we managed to get away to this amazing hotel for 11 nights, the hotel is beautiful and extremely modern you won’t find another hotel on kos island like it. We got upgraded to a family suite for free which was huge and nicely decorated and also very clean. The pools are great, the main pool is huge and the animation team do a great job of entertaining the kids and adults with waterpolo, aqua aerobics etc... everywhere is spotless and pride is taken in keeping the hotels/gardens clean. It was nice to visit my family who live on the island and pelagos was in a great location, it’s 8 euro to Kos Town or a 20 minute walk to the gorgeous lambi beach. The hotel is great value for money I saw some review claiming a lot of cocktails arent all inclusive which isn’t true at the adults only bar all cocktails are available its only at the pool bar you have to pay for premium cocktails but there’s still around 12 to choose from.
The staff of this resort are the most hardworking & polite individuals I’ve ever met at a resort before. Constantly trying their hardest to make your holiday a great experience and provide good service. They honesty made our holiday, we felt so welcome and really enjoyed our experience we didn’t catch her name but the girl with long curly brown hair who works breakfast each morning was absolutely amazing always so friendly and polite and made effort with us every morning to ensure we had a great time.
Thank you pelagos team for all your hard work and making our experience amazing we will be back ❤️

We stayed at Pelagos on the 21st August for a week, it was our 4th time. We had a junior suite overlooking the main pool and boutique. It was really nice with separate rainfall shower, bath, main bedroom, sofa area and big balcony. Plenty of storage, safe, mini fridge and toiletries. We had a bottle of water, wine, cheese/ham baguettes and fresh fruit left for us. You can buy 12 mini bottles of water from the supermarket next door for about €3 so this wasn’t an issue for us.
The food is of a high standard and has a theme night every day. We did notice it was almost all new staff in the restaurant and although they were pleasant didn’t really engage with you at all. They were really busy though and with wearing masks, perhaps it was difficult for the staff. You have to sanitise your hands, wear a mask and are given disposable gloves at the restaurant entrance. You can serve yourself the buffet food and never felt too rushed. Everyone was keeping their distance as much as possible and obeying the rules which was good to see. We never had a bad meal but did feel just adding 1 more a la carte restaurant would be perfect as another choice to eat. There is an Italian restaurant on site which you can visit once per stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and service there, it was great to relax and be served a meal. The next night we booked again and being a Pelagos guest you get a 30% discount.
It was lovely to see Bill still at the main bar and he definitely looked after us at night serving us drinks. Sorry to say we did find the rest of the main pool bar staff a bit grumpy and abrupt at times even if you were smiling and being as polite as possible. A bit disappointed to see the swim up bar gone but the new quiet pool bar looks good and the lady there was lovely, so helpful. Also, the girl in the adult only bar area was friendly and made fab cocktails! Great addition to have the new snack hut and it was very popular, again staff friendly and quick service.
The entertainment team ran by Boris and Dominika helped to make our holiday special. I particularly enjoyed the stretching and Aqua aerobics each day. The new shows were great to watch and they’re a very talented, happy team who engage really well with everyone but aren’t pushy at all. Well done all of you!
Pelagos is just stunning at night, I couldn’t stop taking photos. Loved the sunsets and spending time on the beach in the afternoon. We were so grateful to get away after the last 18 months and appreciated every minute of our holiday. We’ll definitely be back again in the future, thank you!

We booked a 2 bedroom suite with a private pool which was lovely. The suite was equipped with all necessities, water, daily fresh fruit and sandwiches on arrival day (if you miss dinner at the restaurant). The only downfall to the room was there was no iron. We were told this was due to pandemic and sanitisation. Instead we were directed to use the laundry services where you could leave your garments to be ironed at a a cost per garment. Had I known this prior to travel I would have taken a travel steamer.
The private pool is great for families and for those who like privacy however we were slightly baffled when maintenance workers were entering through the back gate of our private area to pass through to other parts of the hotel, with no offer of an explanation. This happened every day for the duration of our stay (4 days).
The hotel is perfectly located to explore Kos and is across the road from Lambi beach, 5 mins from the town centre and 20-25 mins from the airport.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to have an extra hour for a late checkout at no cost plus use of the facilities after check out on our departure day.
As an all inclusive package, the food is a standard buffet style and has different themes each night. As a pescatarian there was not much choice for me with the majority of the food being different salads, dips, breads and side dishes. We were entitled to 1 free meal at the a la carte restaurant also however this was just average.
The hotel evening entertainment is also average and consists of various dance performances from the same group. There are other things like yoga and table tennis to be enjoyed daily.
As we travelled during the pandemic I feel the need to highlight that the hotel is not strict with wearing face masks indoors. The only measure I noticed was the request to wear gloves when using the buffet service. Furthermore there is no practice of social distancing. When we checked in, there was a huddle of guests around the reception desk queuing to check in.
Overall this is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. I would highly recommend booking a suite with a private pool.

Room: The room was nice, bed very comfy and cleaned to a reasonable standard. Our room was also a conjoining room for some reason and the room could be noisy as we could hear the people next door quite clearly. We were in room 415 which could be quite noisy as near the pool bar but we still managed to sleep.
Pool:
pools are good and very clean, freezing cold but that is due to the temperature outside! They have cabana beds which they charger €15 euros for and also ones with a roof and table which are €30 which is disgusting for 4* plus hotel.
Presentation:
The hotel itself is beautifully presented and lots of places to sit. It does appear clean and tidy.
All inclusive:
The first issue we encountered was the lack of all inclusive we asked for a standard cocktail at the bar and was told it was 7 euros there are only around 6 cocktails included at each bar. They also charger for lattees, capuchino and other basic drinks! The food is a good standard for all inclusive the theme nights were good and the snack bar has a good variety! The issue is the tables are never set and you wait a while for drinks and if you ask for sugar, salt and pepper etc. It’s like they are being rationed. The food trays will often be left empty or partially filled for long periods and you have to wear gloves and a mask at all times when in the buffet unless seated!
Location:
The hotel is a considerable distance from the town we walked to Kos on the first evening at it took over an hour despite us being quite fast walkers, there is a slightly quicker way but it is incredibly dark and we didn’t feel safe to walk in the evening!
Service:
When I read the reviews about the staff it didn’t bother me as we are very laid back and didn’t imagine it would bother us however the service really is shocking the restaurant staff seem to really struggle with any requests you ask and almost always forge. They would rarely come over so you could ask them for what you need. The bar service is also poor there is a female server at the bar by the pool who is friendly but a couple of the men including one at the reception bar who are just rude and regularly offended us rolling their eyes when you asked for a a drink. The male at the lobby bar practically snubbed my friend when he asked for a cocktail during a quiet evening at the bar.
I would say the worst part about this hotel is the lack of “inclusiveness” Everything that shod be included isn’t; coffees as mentioned before, milkshakes, pina colada and many other basic cocktails and I’m fact they will charge you extra for anything they can. Our friends got engaged and we asked at guest relations if they could do anything in their room and they said they could lay some rose petals and candles for €40 … no offer of anything at all for free! It’s a decent hotel but the staff and lack of all inclusive completely ruin this and I would certainly never return

Dear happycampers186338, thank you for choosing the Pelagos Suites Hotel & Spa for your holidays and for taking the time to rate us. We are happy to read that you enjoyed the room and the cleanliness of our hotel. The small cabanas cost 15€ and the big ones 30€ accordingly and they are extra for all our guests. This was our 2nd trip to Pelagos Suite Hotel & Spa and was every bit as fabulous as the first time we went! Firstly, the staff...receptionist, waiters, bar people, gym and spa staff are all friendly, helpful and ready to help...and work incredibly hard to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Secondly, the animation team - Boris and Dominika are without a doubt, the best hotel animation team leaders I've ever come across at a hotel. They work so hard to lead their team to ensure your nights are full of entertainment and fun, and during the day, plenty of activities for young and old alike, without any pressure to do so if you want a day off!! The yoga, aqua-gym and stretch classes a favourite! The pool parties are a must from the end of July! Again, super-hard workers that never take a break! The rooms are all spacious with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We've had several rooms in the hotel, and all are easily accessible, and no buildings taller than ground and first floors. There are superior and luxury suites, villas and private rooms, as well as junior suites and family rooms so something for everyone. There's always plenty of space around one of the many pools and private areas for those who prefer a quieter pool side. The food is second to none with a huge variety to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have a very fussy eater in the family who never struggled to find anything to eat. The first year we visited Pelagos, there were 4 of us, last year there were 7 of us and next year we are hoping to go back with a party of 12! Cannot wait to see you again Pelagos and all the team !

Me and my boyfriend just returned from a weeks holiday at Pelagos and we loved every minute of it. The decor is stunning, pool areas are well looked after and there are plenty of free sunbeds even upto 9:30am, so no need to get up ridiculously early.
Lunch and dinner from the main buffet were outstanding with a great selection and different themes, however some of the hot breakfast items (eg bacon) were luke warm most of the time. Cocktails and drinks in general are brilliant.
Cleanliness is great and the hotel is handling the current situation very well with certain measures in place. Rooms are cleaned everyday despite being told it was going to be every 2 days.
The staff at the hotel are some of the friendliest people I’ve met (especially Nasia at the pool bar and Sarah who greets you at the restaurant everyday without fail).
The entertainment was overall pretty good, but it can be hit and miss sometimes and can get slightly repetitive.
There was only one bigger issue which let the hotel down slightly for us- on the last day they didnt provide showers to use after being around the pool, as our flight home was late at night. We were told this was due to covid, but couldn’t understand this as the showers would need to be cleaned regularly anyway regardless of covid. Fortunately some friends we met in the hotel were kind enough to lend us their room for a shower in the evening, but if this hadn’t happened we would’ve had to book late check out which is an extra 70 euros.
Overall, most aspects of the hotel are outstanding and we would definitely love to return next year. However, there were a couple of issues (as with any hotel) which the hotel could easily rectify for it to be the perfect getaway.

We have just returned from a week at the Pelagos and loved every minute !
From arrival to leaving, the staff worked endlessly to ensure everyone was enjoying their stay.
Due to Covid, plastic gloves had to be worn while getting food in the restaurant but that was a small price to pay to ensure hygiene as the food was plentiful and a high quality.
The whole of the grounds are beautifully presented and the pools were amazing and welcoming.
The room was large and modern with a fridge and a huge balcony with a bed on it !
Special thanks to Sarah who greeted us at the restaurant and the lovely Anna with the permanent smile!( I know there were two Anna’s so thanks to both)
Also to Thanassis who had trainee on his badge.Well, his training must be working because he was so polite and efficient,
A real nice guy.
If you want to hear any negatives about this hotel then get them from other reviews
because there aren’t any from us !!!

We booked to stay here very last minute as at the time it was one of the only places you could travel without having to quarantine on your return to the UK. We did have a great holiday but as it was basically this or no holiday we feel we did over pay for what we actually received.
The all inclusive is very limited and the drinks are poor. If you’d like to upgrade to a branded drink Bacardi for example you can look forward to paying 7 euro a time or 10 euro for a cocktail. Also things like cranberry juice and bottled water are charged extra for. You can get cups of water free and apple or orange juice are included in all inclusive. The food was a very random selection but was always very nice and we never went hungry.
The staff were fabulous, I can’t fault them at all. We found them to welcoming and friendly. They all do a fantastic job.
We had booked a family suite as were travelling with our toddler but found her bed to be completely unsuitable for a child. It was a double bed pushed up to the wall with a cushion as a headboard that she could easily move and fall or climb between the bed and the narrow gap between the bed and window. It also had exposed metal bars up the side where the base had clearly been damaged. Our room was also on the ground floor, well they call it the ground floor it’s actually down stairs in the basement. It had a huge terrace but was unfortunately dark all day with zero sunlight. This was disappointing, who wants a terrace sees zero sunlight?
The pools are lovely but sometimes difficult to get a sun bed, the hotel don’t seem to have a policy about reserving sun loungers.
We did have a nice holiday but we were determined to make the most of it after being in lockdown for so long. However I don’t think we will return to this hotel based on our experience here. There are small adjustments that the hotel can make to make it a much better experience for customers, things like bottled water should not be an added expense in any all inclusive resort

With our booking, a la carte available at extra charge.
We are the same, we fly this Sunday and wanted to know if we need to bring a light jacket for the evenings
Hi Karen during our 2 week stay in June it was a fairly busy place as you’d expect with lots of families and small groups, competition for the sunloungers was pretty keen which looked like people where starting to ‘reserve’ from around 06.00hrs To be honest this was only an observation as our room had its own pool.
Our September trip seemed a lot calmer and equally less families so much quieter, the rule may well have made people more cognisant of the ‘towel rule’ but to be fair we did see the occasional one or 2 reserved before 09.00 but not moved. Again there were plenty of free sunbeds anyway.
