This hotel was great, we have travelled way before our son was born, and we have enjoyed all the facilities, pool bar and its such a great location as near the beachfront and very busy kos town centre with great pubs. |The apartment was really clean with the kitchen area, air-con and we were positively surprised, friendly staff and many places around to rent the scooter.

Lovely clean and well kept hotel, all the staff work so hard but are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet and relaxing with lovely gardens and pool area with plenty of loungers available round the pool with umbrellas. There were also extra loungers which you could help yourself to and take onto the grass under the shade of the trees if you prefer. The hotel has it’s own snack bar which is handy for pool days so you don’t have to go far for food, drinks and ice creams and has happy hour every day for 2for1 cocktails. Also a Supermarket right opposite the hotel. I believe it’s one of the better value supermarkets around that area which was handy! We loved the location of the hotel for getting around and seeing Kos which is the main reason we chose it. The beach is literally just down the road with plenty of tavernas local for drinks, food and if you were eating at the tavernas during the day you could also use their beach and loungers which we loved. We were spoilt for choice and enjoyed every meal and taverna we tried! It’s very easy to get into Kos Town by walking, bus or bicycle. The bus stop is just round the corner, 2 mins from the hotel and they were regular so we did this a few times or walked and got the last bus back. The bicycle lanes are amazing and as it’s so flat you see everyone of all ages cycling around Psalidi and Kos so would highly recommend hiring bikes to get around. There are brochures in Hotel reception to reserve them and there’s also David Motos 2 mins up the road where you can get one for the day for 4 euros. We were very happy with our room which had twin beds (which is pretty standard in Greece) air con, safe, hairdryer and a fridge and tv. I knew in advance there was no kettle (I emailed to check) so brought our own travel kettle as I love to be able make myself a cuppa. Our room had a balcony and sea view which we were pleasantly surprised by and plenty of storage. The shower was sufficient but wasn’t very powerful. Also the shower curtain tended to stick to you due to the shower cubicle being so small so it wasn’t the best.. As were directly above (by 2 flights of steps) I tended to go down to the shower rooms in the basement for an evening shower. They were better quality showers with more space and could be locked so they were still private. Continental breakfast was included in our stay which was nice enough and fine to start us off for the day as there was unlimited tea, coffee and juices, ham, cheese, toast and preserves, cereals, eggs (hard boiled only) peach and watermelon but we did wish there was a bit more variety, some more fruit options or maybe some pastries would have been nice. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and found Alexandra Beach a great base, a lovely hotel and excellent value for money. If we were visiting this area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you so much.

We stayed at this lovely hotel in mid May. The hotel was lovely & clean, the room was cleaned daily & the towels & linen changed every 3 days. Our room, which was on the 2nd floor, had a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast consisted of unlimited tea, coffee, juice, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese, bread & cake. There are lots of sun loungers around the pool. The walk into Kos town was approx 20 minutes, walking past the marina & many lovely restaurants. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone.

We recently stayed at the Alexander Beach Hotel in Kos. The hotel was clean and tidy with good facilities. Our room was a good size with ample storage for our belongings. Both the beach, restaurants and Kos town centre were within easy striking distance of the hotel (15 min walk). The staff were friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There were a few very minor niggles for example it would have been nice to have had tea and coffee making facilities in all the rooms. It would also been nice to have the air conditioning working at no extra cost, unfortunately that is only free at certain times of the year. Overall a great hotel would happily stay there again.
