My parents, my girlfriend and I booked two rooms there for 7 days at the end of August. We had a great time and would gladly go back for another trip. Food : The food at all restaurants is diverse and good. The Greek restaurant was closed but Italian and Chinese were available. More importantly: my girlfriend has a LOT of allergies and they always cooked something special for her. We could see the chief cook cared a lot about her safety. Facilities : Pools, Beach, Spa, Minigolf, Minigames, there's just so much to do. We weren't traveling with kids but we saw the kids were having a great time (and thankfully they weren't too loud :D) Rooms : Maybe the one point that wasn't that great. My parents had a way bigger room than the one we had and since we pay the same amount, that doesn't seem fair. But it was always clean and clearly enough for the time we spent there. People : The staff was really nice :) NB : People seem to complain a lot about not having any sunbed at the pool -> we never had trouble finding four.

Room Tip: The satellite area is a bit further from the rest of the hotel. Quieter too though !

Came here sept expected a 5* hotel after we payed £3000 for 2 of us in a junior suite ,defo not a 5* we arrived it was boiling hot checked in and told to go back out side and wait for a buggy to take us to our rooms what a nitemare that was 🙈there was loads of other ppl waiting aswel some in the que but a lot of ppl were walking out of reception and walking straight past us in the que it was mayhem, it was boiling hot and waited about 30mins I ended up arguing with a someone because we had been waiting and these ppl decide to jump in front of the que and try get on a buggy before everyone else who had been waiting with they luggage ,no chance was I letting ppl jump the que when we had been waiting 30mins, I was so hot and tired we had no sleep cos we had an early morn flight it was just mayhem and I was very grumpy so this woman had the blunt of it off me told her straight no we are next she was foreign she was getting her Luggage to put on the buggy but no chance was I letting her plus there was a que behind us also waiting why can’t ppl just que up and wait they turn .we eventually got to our room junior suite by the main pool ground floor on the end 🙈I wasn’t amused we over looked a grass banking and the path for the pool rite at the side of us no privacy so went to reception asked to be moved as we had payed all this money and didn’t want to be looking at a grass banking and ppl walking past all the time ,in all fairness they moved us the next morn to a higher floor and over looked the pool which was great but said in tui brochure we would have slippers and robe each but we didn’t ,junior suite was lovely and big had a double balcony ,tea and coffee facilities, beds were comfortable some English channels only down side was I think cleaners only cleaned the floors and made the beds they didn’t wipe no surfaces down for the 2 wks we were there my husband had tipped tea on the table so we left it there on purpose in those 2 wks the tea stain still there I was using wet wipes to clean the suffices and I don’t think our bed linen was changed either cos I has makeup on my pillow case . Entertainment was from 9-10.30 after that there’s nothing to do everyone seemed to disappear to they rooms entertainment team worked hard but was repeated the second wk . Well the food 🤢absolutely disgusting and stone cold we tryed all the restaurants and the better one was by reception but still not that good every singe meal was cold after few days it was turning our stomachs couldn’t even get a hot cup of tea or coffee with breakfast even they were cold I’ll never go all inclusive again or pay this amount of money for a holiday again ,the drinks were awful I love a cocktail but they were un drinkable so for the 2 wks we didn’t have a drink in hotel cos they were awful ,we ended up hiring a car for 3 days just to get from hotels there’s nothing outside of the hotel the pools were absolutely freezing we went in once and I love the pool but was way to cold , the beach you have to pay for sun loungers plus beach there not that nice , and couldn’t wait to have proper hot food we went all around the island we fell in love with kos ❤️We give car back after 3 days spent another 2 days by the pool but we were bored so hired another car for another 5 days best thing we done spent a lot of time at either paradise beach or happy flamingo beach in tigaki we went up to Zia to watch the sunset and we went to kos town in the nite for food and having breakfast at sunburned arms ,we went Thurma beach we drove all around the island we will return to kos next year but not to blue lagoon resort and not all inclusive again we Gona book to stay kos town and either self catering or b&b there’s so many beautiful Greek restaurants you can eat at so all in all we had a fab holiday apart from the hotel I did ignore the reviews before we went I thought some ppl are just too picky but they were all true I felt we had been ripped off we ended up spending a lot of money just to make our holiday a good one but hiring a car best thing we done and defo hiring a car next year so many beautiful places to explore in kos such a beautiful island 🏝❤️

Just returned home from a 2 week stay first impression good check in smooth.Room a twin with a 16 daughter was not great promised a room change which never happened. Resort is huge and kept really well .Great pools even though it was freezing 🥶. Plenty of sunbeds.Main issue is the food, always stone cold even when it first comes out ingredients are fairly good Just the temperature. Chinese restaurant is by far the best place to eat .Italian was absolutely disgusting 😒. X Entertainment was not great but they tried really hard at the shows at night. Restaurant staff work really hard and are always very friendly despite being treated poorly by the restaurant manager Stakis .Have visited Kos for the past three years but don't think I will be returning anytime soon .

Overall our stay at Blue Lagoon was ok. The resort is beautiful and very big. The main pool is massive and there’s always enough sun beds. The water park is mainly for children so didn’t spend any time there. We went to the adults only pool one day, it was nice but the downside is both the adults pool and main pool was freezing cold so only went in them both a few times, but to be expected for the time of year. The resort was clean and our room was clean, the maid was lovely and done a good job. We stayed in block 6000 on the bottom floor right outside the kids pool but wasn’t a problem as it opened at 10am - 6pm. Only downside to the room was the balcony as it was in the shade, but you can probably pay extra for a better room or ask to move. I hate to jump on the band wagon but the reviews about the food are true. Me or my partner aren’t fussy eaters but the food was extremely poor. The first week we both tried pretty much everything but by the second week we had both had enough of the food. Every meal we had the food was cold, it was the same food pretty much all the time. The breakfast was repetitive, cold and boring. The resort has such a bad reputation for food that even the locals knew about it. Other people in our group complained about the food to guest relations and TUI rep but no one was interested in doing anything about it. The entertainment was boring, basic dancing and the same on week 1 and 2. Adult entertainment started at 9:30 to 10:30 a few songs played after then that’s it, every night in bed for 11 as there’s nothing to do. The hotel would be great for families with young children as there’s a lot for them to do. The staff in the restaurants were brilliant, two men in particular in the main restaurant were great, very friendly and helpful. Such a shame that a few things let it done cause this resort would be amazing if the food and entertainment were sorted. A lot of people we spoke to felt exactly the same as us, if you’re looking at coming to this resort I’d advise against it unless you do self catering. Don’t waste your money on all inclusive!! The resort it’s self could easily be a 4* but it’s what’s inside that counts and that only deserves a 2/3*
