We have just had the most wonderful holiday at this Hotel on the Lovely Island of Kos. We cannot fault the Hotel from the friendliness of staff to the hard work put in by everyone to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed a week all inclusive and the food has been of a really high standard. I can 100% recommend this Hotel. Can't wait to come back again
We visited the Apollon in October 2020 we were lucky as Kos was not on the UK quarantine list. This was our 5th visit to this hotel and again we were not disappointed. The hotel is very aware of COVID and the staff wear masks. When you go into the restaurant you have to wear gloves. Someone mentioned about people not wearing masks in the restaurant I must admit I think that would be a good idea as people can breath all over the food. The lady on reception was very helpful as when we arrived we asked to change rooms. We had been put into a room on the third floor but as I explained hubby has a heart condition and can’t do stairs. We only had to wait a short while for a new room and we went into the restaurant and had a meal while they sorted it out. This hotel is really spotlessly clean the rooms are cleaned every day and the towels are changed every day. There is always a good choice of food here and we never struggle to get a good meal. We always go home a few pounds extra. We love this hotel and that is why we keep going back all the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. If there is a problem with anything it will will sorted straight away. Hopefully if we are allowed we will be returning again in May 2021 as we love it so much.…
Its been a while we haven't been on the island and we came again to our favourite hotel in kos. We saw a lot of improvements as perfect food excellent wifi connection and welcome staff as before. We were informed that 2018 many things wil be even better as a renovation will take place during winter. brand new Gym ;) ... We recommend it and we will try visit it probably May as well . Strongly recommend it.
Stayed here just for a few days this time - have stayed here twice before- and as usual it was amazing. Hotel is very modern and so clean. Rooms and bathrooms have been decorated to a high standard. The staff couldn’t do more for you. Poppy on the reception is the most helpful, kind and super friendly person you could meet. The food was fabulous, always a fantastic variety of choice, and the drinks package was excellent. Will definitely be back to this lovely hotel! again!
We have enjoyed this hotel very much, it was very clean and the staff, especially the cleaning ladies were very fiendly, particularly Mrs Lilianna, whos work was outstanding. The people working at the restaurant were also very nice and efficient.
Apollon consists of two parts. One is Apollon Windmill where we only eat breakfast and for lunch and dinner you go to the main Apollon facility. We were at the Apollon Windmill for three days, then transfer us to Apollon. In both facilities, very good conditions, delicious food and clean. The lady who cleans Lillana is an artist as shown you in the photo.
Couldn’t fault a thing! Great place short walk out of Kos. Excellent staff (especially blonde lady who worked at pool bar), helpful and speak good enough English. Lots of different nationalities there. Beach is short walk away with the great beach bar (unfortunately need to pay in this one). Pool on small side. Food gorgeous!
We chose this place to have a relaxing week and it really was the best choise for us. Room was clean, nicely decorated and pretty spacious. Food was very nice and we tried something different every day. Drinks were also pretty good and the cocktails very tasty. We felt so welcomed by the hotel's staff and they were all eager to help us. Thank you for everything guys... See you next year!
We had a 10 day stay in this hotel at the end of August. The weather was still very hot, but some evenings it could cool down where long sleeves were more comfortable. In terms of location this hotel is situated near Lambi, and thus a very good starting base to just roam around the nice beaches. But it was close enough to walk to the city center in Kos in about 25-30 mins at a leisurely pace. Since the bus station is in Kos town, you can pretty much see the whole island with various buses. The price is not expensive, but the schedule is fixed, so you need to plan ahead to ensure you are on time for the bus. Also make sure you know what days certain sights and locations are open/closed. You should be able to ask the reception or your tour operator contacts. From the hotel to Kos Center there are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the way. Once at the city center, there are more to be found also near the Marina, so you won't lack of eateries or places to have a drink and enjoy the music or atmosphere. Kos as an island is pretty small at 40+KM from one end to the other, so if you rent a car, you can pretty much see it in a day roughly speaking. But if you're there to just enjoy the island and the people (they are very hospitable and very nice!), enjoy the beaches and nice food, want to see some sights and walk around or bike around, may do a few tours, then Kos is the place to be. The hotel itself was kept very clean every day, the staff was always super friendly, the Covid regulations was kept in check at the buffet area and indoors too. In terms of facilities it was certainly enough for us that there was a fitness room, a swimming pool, massage possibilities and enough choice at the buffet restaurant, even for us (as vegetarian and vegan). I do have to call out 1 special person from the hotel staff and that was Liljana who was the room caretaker on the 2nd floor of the renovated area. From day 1 she kept our room immaculately clean. This lovely lady would always greet us at any time of day with a big smile and just huge friendliness. It certainly made our day every morning being greeted this warmly. As if that was not enough, she would make the most ingenious shapes of our towels. So we found a surprise every day of our stay which is simply going above and beyond hospitality, it just makes you feel welcomed and at home. We found all staff at the hotel just very friendly and welcoming and just generally very hard working fantastic people. So a big thank you to the Apollon Hotel Staff that seemed to be working every single day, you guys are amazing. All in all a very lovely holiday destination and place to stay!…
Very relaxing place to go. Quite big and very well maintained swimming pool. Clean rooms and toilets. All-inclusive food was okay. We will always remember awesome towel-o-flower compositions performed by Mrs. Liliana - each day a diffferent figure to admire <3 Hotel is placed on a north east corner of the island. Lambi beach with good amount of beach bars and sunbeds is very close to the hotel. Nearby shops allows you to buy a whole equipment like swimming shoes and towels. There are great restaurants around, for example Mike's tavern - it's worth to check their Moussaka ;) I really recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Kos!
