Me and my partner stayed here at the beginning of September for 7 nights all inclusive (Booked since early June). Was a little worried having read some very mixed reviews but honestly I had absolutely nothing to worry about! This hotel is absolutely lovely. We booked the deluxe double room with terrace through jet2 and honestly our room was absolutely beautiful. So clean (cleaned everyday with clean towels daily), spacious and modern and a bonus having sun loungers on our terrace! Upon check in the lady mentioned the room had been newly renovated in the last year and to be honest the room was one of the things I was mostly worrying about having read some reviews that people got put into rooms that looked nothing like what they had booked, but our room was beautiful. The pool area was absolutely lovely, the hotel gardens are also so nice and well kept! With the sun beds, we did notice they got took up quite quickly probably mostly gone by 8.30am so if your not an early riser to reserve your sun bed then you may struggle getting one however, this didn’t bother us as we was up early most mornings. The worst thing about this hotel was the pool bar lady. This really needs to be addressed by the hotel because honestly she was very rude. We would queue up for a drink in quite a long line of people and she would moan about disliking people and how she can’t wait for her shift to finish. We asked for 2 drinks and she only poured one, so we asked for the other and she was complaining about her long line and said that we will have to come back which to be honest was a bit annoying having just waited in the line for a drink. It was a shame because this isn’t what you want on your holiday when getting a drink and actually put me off going up to the bar. She also favourited some people and would serve people behind you which was very frustrating. The food at this hotel was lovely! Lunch by far being the absolute best! Every day there was something different with breakfast, lunch and dinner. We did find breakfast got a little repetitive though by around the 4th day but then again there is only so much you can have for breakfast I guess. The hotel location is good, a quiet resort but about half hour steady walk into Kos town. We did the walk once but with how hot it was we decided to get the bus instead each time costing €1.10 each. The bus stop is literally a minute walk outside the hotel and was about a 5 minute journey. The bus did get extremely busy on the way back though so I would recommend a taxi back which was 8€. On our last day we had a late flight where we wasn’t being picked up until 6.20pm so we did ask to keep our room on until 6pm which cost €60. For us this was definitely worth it as we was able to enjoy the full day not having to worry about leaving our luggage in the hotel reception and was able to shower and get cleaned up before flying as there isn’t any shower room or anything for this! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here at the apollon, would definitely stay again if ever returning to Kos.

Hotel's Favorite
We visited the Apollon in October 2020 we were lucky as Kos was not on the UK quarantine list. This was our 5th visit to this hotel and again we were not disappointed. The hotel is very aware of COVID and the staff wear masks. When you go into the restaurant you have to wear gloves. Someone mentioned about people not wearing masks in the restaurant I must admit I think that would be a good idea as people can breath all over the food. The lady on reception was very helpful as when we arrived we asked to change rooms. We had been put into a room on the third floor but as I explained hubby has a heart condition and can’t do stairs. We only had to wait a short while for a new room and we went into the restaurant and had a meal while they sorted it out. This hotel is really spotlessly clean the rooms are cleaned every day and the towels are changed every day. There is always a good choice of food here and we never struggle to get a good meal. We always go home a few pounds extra. We love this hotel and that is why we keep going back all the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. If there is a problem with anything it will will sorted straight away. Hopefully if we are allowed we will be returning again in May 2021 as we love it so much.

What an amazing stay. Having read some bad reviews wasn't sure what to expect but was extremely pleased. Smooth check in and having arrived at nearly 2am was great to have a large bottle of water chilled in the fridge on arrival. Hotel is spotless and grounds well kept. Best part was the food. Being AI had all meals and was never disappointed. Great variety, all tasty, and always being topped up and kept fresh. Never had to wait to get into any meals with plenty tables. Checkout at 11am I was informed we could still use our AI band for hotel facilities and restaurant for the rest off the day even with pick up not being until 7pm. This is a GREAT addition as other hotels I have stayed at only give you breakfast and then you are basically thrown out after checkout. Great touches and great stay. Will gladly return!!!

If you get a refurbished room they are great, Pool area is lovely, plenty of sunbeds etc. However food is very repetitive and basic, we actually ate out 5 out of 7 nights despite being all inclusive. Quality of all inclusive drinks were terrible from the pool bar....pool bar staff had very different days, sometimes happy sometimes very miserable! Always had to que for a drink as only 1 out of the 2 or 3 staff were serving (I'm sure a ploy limit drinks). Personally I wouldn't rush back and if I did happen to ever go back it certainly wouldn't be on an all inclusive basis.

Just returned from a week at this lovely hotel. We had a 2 bed deluxe suite which we were really happy with. Resort is nice and quiet which we liked. People reserve sunbeds from about 8am but there’s usually some unused ones around about esp in the afternoon. Food was very nice and if you’re all inclusive you get a meal at the al a carte in the adjacent hotel - which was delicious - 5 courses! Just be aware there’s one block of unrenovated rooms - we made sure the details on our rooms said they were modernised - but we saw some unhappy customers who weren’t expecting what they got. Also be aware the hotel info implies you can pre-book to keep your room for extra cost if you have a late flight on your last day, which we did. But in reality if they’re busy they can’t let you keep the room - and there are no showers available anywhere else. We loved sitting by the pool in the evening with a drink. Very relaxing.

Just returned from Apollon Hotel. The hotel is very nice, lovely modern very clean rooms. Breakfast was probably the best meal. The lunch and dinner were just OK. Very busy dining area not big enough for the amount of people using it. The best thing about the whole dining experience was Effy who seems to run the whole place very efficiently. She was very friendly and was happy to chat and give good advice on the local area and to get about. The pool area was also very clean a bit short on sunbeds as they were always reserved with people leaving towels and going away for hours. We were All Inclusive which was actually a bit of a waste of money as the drinks at the bar were very poor quality. 3 cocktails on the AI and they all tasted the same (bad) had to buy our own tonic at the supermarket, only to find it wasn't only the tonic that was bad but also the gin. We would stay here again but only on a B & B basis as we ate out ,out of the time.

Apollon hotel is a complete rip off we booked through love holidays the pics we were shown were completely different to what we got almost like 2 different hotels, definitely not worth the money, the walls are also so thin I can’t sleep at all, every time someone goes to the shower or toilet it wakes you up and you can here everything from everyone else room, we also have been down to reception we were told not to complain and that there’s nothing they can do.

The hotel is big and quite new. It’s placed in a beautiful garden, one guy takes care of - he is fantastic and pays a lot of attention to all details. Overall all the staff is very gentle. We were in 4 so we took a suite (2bds 1 bth) - cleanings ok. The all inclusive formula is ok but for the lunch boxes that includes 1 half sandwich, 1 fruit and half liter water per person. I read they say it’s for regulation on take away food but what is the point not to add more fruit or a second sandwich?

I must confirm excellent hotel. Nice look of the buildings and surrounding garden. I have not got the feeling of mass hotel. Our son 7 years old was excited about the pool as every kid around. Breakfest lunch and dinner I thought I might burst. So much to choose. Very veeeeery tasty. I could not stop eating.....must be some magic of the chef. Hotel staff was nice and if you learn few Greek words you will see how they will be pleased. And smile was on their faces every day. Do not deal some insignificant detail. Enjoy the sea and sun in the shade otherwise you will get red nose in a minute. Have a nice holiday as we had in Apollon.

We’ve just got back from the Apollon hotel, we found the hotel was clean and our room was modern and spacious. The problem is that they haven’t got a big enough pool area or enough beds to accommodate, the only way to guarantee a bed is to be up from 7:00 to claim one. The staff at the Apollon windmill are great, but the staff at the Apollon we found a bit rude. We emailed reception with a problem and still haven’t had a reply. The lady on the bar got very stressed with even the slightest queue, to the point that she would serve people she had taken a shine to, or those with a small drinks order(regardless of your place in the queue). The food is good if a bit repetitive, the snack bar is basically sandwiches and some pastries. I would not call this hotel all inclusive more like full board with all inclusive drinks. Have to say Harris who started at 5:00 at the bar was spot on.
