#21 of 55 hotels in Kos Town
The Aeolos Beach Hotel, a spacious holiday complex with double rooms and bungalows, is built in the traditional style of the Greek island architecture directly on the long sandy beach of the Aegean Sea. The resort is characterised by facilities in a traditional style, which are complemented by the welcoming Greek hospitality, and offers comfortable accommodation in both the main building and in the surrounding bungalows. The relaxing ambience of the Aeolos Beach Hotel reflects the pleasant comforts of home. In May ‘18, we opened the new Wing with 45 Premium Sea View Beach Front Rooms and Pool. These 30 m2 adults-friendly rooms for max. 3 persons offer: 24 hours A/C, Wi-Fi, kettle, slippers, bathrobes (RQ, with deposit), mini-fridge with 2 small water bottles daily, 1 reserved sunbed on the pool per person, 1 bottle of red, white or rose wine per room (on guest's request). The bathrooms have rain showers and a separate toilet. Premium guests have their meals at Tranquillo Restaurant.

There were 7 of us in our party one pensioner one baby and one servilely disabled lady . On arrival and the hotel at 11.30pm 18th sept we were swiftly checked in and taken to our rooms 454 and 487 . So bearing in mind we had a 78 year old with us and not steady on his feet we were taken to our room/ bungalow on the first floor . Once we seen the room we realised this was not what we had paid for . After going back to reception , the kind lady asked if we would stay in there for the night and the manager would move us in the morning. Once we returned to reception in the morning we were moved directly downstairs to room 486 ,as we had booked a bungalow I Noah’s a rule bungalows do not have an upstairs, so basically we had a room. This was not again what we had requested and paid for . So on with the holiday, beautiful clean grounds clean rooms and lovely pool area. Nice views but not the sea view requested. On the first night at dinner we ordered drinks they waiter brought the over and by the end my husband ended up wearing a whole glass of drink where it had fell from the tray all Over his top and trousers . There was no apology, just concerned with cleaning up the spillage on the floor. We were left with drink all over the table cloth and my husbands dinner. Entertainment wasn’t the best 3 nights a week singing songs from 50 /60 years ago . So as the holiday progressed things didn’t really get much better the food was repetitive. Pasta every night and on Italian night seven different pastas of which one had meat on it . So we decided to take ourselves in to Koz for something that we could actually eat. 10 euros there and 10 euros back . You can’t walk into Koz as it’s about three and a half miles away . And the nearest shop is about 2 miles. We decided it was time to mention our issues with the rep , told her about the food in the restaurant where we told a waiter about hair in the bacon 🥓 he pulled the hair out dropped it on the floor and left the bacon for everyone to help there selves to . Kiosk by the pool was hot if you got there when it opened otherwise it was cold , and the alcohol by the pool was great to start with then fizzy pop tasted watered down and beer tasted oh chemicals. As we were leaving to come home on the 28th September the manager come over and apologised for what was wrong while we were there and hoped we had a good holiday.

Me and my partner have just returned from a week at aelos beach. Firstly I want to mention that before we arrived we requested a specific room, 602 (premium) as the pictures and view looked beautiful. (Premium had loads of positive reviews, where as the standard blocks didn’t, so we was sure to go premium) When we arrived, we arrived quite late in the evening, the reception was quick to check us in, and drove us on a buggy to our room. Our room was up a few steps, and was the room was the Room we had previously asked for, it was beautiful. Very modern and clean, with a television, tea/coffee facilities and a safe which was free to use in premium. The aircon was locked as you have to pay extra for this. There was Two sinks in the bathroom, with a few toiletries, and also a hairdryer. The mini fridge cooler, we had a problem with and couldn’t use, which was a shame as we had purchased a lot of water and drinks. The fridge was warm and we rang the reception to mention this but we was told it wasn’t a fridge just a cooler, which we couldn’t understand as it was warm. We was able to request an iron when needed and every morning at 9 the phone in the room would ring to ask if we would like daily room service. The maids was very polite and cleaned the room thoroughly each day. The premium pool area was stated as the “quite” area, which it was. Very relaxing with sea views and the sea which was a stones throw away from the pool. In premium we was allocated our own sun beds which I thinks a good idea. This area is next to the tranquillo resteraunt which was beautiful to eat in, close to the sea. The food was very repetitive each day, which is usually to be expected for all inclusive, and was cold. We only ate twice here but there is a lot of choice to choose from. A couple of minutes walk from the premium area, was the main pool and pool bar/snack bar. The main pool is large and was a lot more busier than the premium pool. The pool bar was quick with a lot of standard all inclusive drinks choice, and the snack bar only did one type of snack a day. One day gyros and one day burgers etc. I heard a few negative comments on the food/snack bar from people, and although I would agree it isn’t upto a 4 star standard, I am a fussy eater, but there was always something If you was hungry. We only ate in the main resteraunt once, which again was a standered all inclusive experience. Very clean, but very busy. At reception you can hire quads, mopeds and bikes etc which was hired a quad one day for €50. There is also a small shop next to the reception with a few essentials in if need be, water, snacks etc. There is a sauna which is out of order due to the pandemic, and a small gym which you can pre book for yourself which you get the gym for an hour to yourself. There is no evening entertainment at this hotel, which me and my partner wanted so we would go out every night, The taxi situation is a bit of a nightmare, which isn’t the hotels fault, they would always ring one when asked but some days it would take an hour to come. It’s €10 into kos town which is about a 10 Minute drive away. There is also a bus stop which runs every half an hour which takes you into to kos town, this picks you up at the end of the hotel entrance. There is nothing around the hotel at all, no bars or shops within walking distance. We went into kos town a few times but after getting on a bus we went along an area called lambi beach which we wished we had found sooner, this has a lot more authentic resteraunts and bars and a good lively atmosphere, more so than kos town. Lambi beach is great in the day also has it has lots of beach bars and free sun beds. The bus also goes along this area before going into to kos town. I would recommend this hotel if you are purely wanting a relaxing holiday. If you want a bit of an atmosphere and to be more in the centre than this isn’t ideal . I would also state it’s more based for adults than kids. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with amazing views and is very relaxing. I wouldn’t advise going anything other than premium as the standard rooms looked very outdated. There is a doctor who comes every day at 9.30 to do covid tests if need be, just request this at reception a couple of days before you need your test. Also I will mention, if the days you are there end up being windy (our first two was beyond windy) than because of the location of the hotel, close to the sea, it isn’t great. It is freezing! Even in the room, but if you go away from the hotel into the town etc, it isn’t as bad. We enjoyed our stay at the aelos beach, and feel very relaxed. But next time we would probably go more to the centre, only because we like a bit more of an atmosphere ☺️

we have just returned from a 14 day holiday at the Aeolos beach hotel Kos. We were thrilled in apartment 647. All staff were very nice, polite and fully at our service. The food was great, the Tranquillo restaurant was amazing. We were just sorry that the beach bar was not open for the Premium section. We also had a problem when guests who did not live in the Premium section occupied our reserved sunbeds by the pool and when we warned them, they refused to vacate them and were still rude. Therefore, I believe that guests who do not live in the Premium section should not have access to this section in order to avoid problems. Otherwise warm thanks to all the staff for a wonderful holiday.

We visited the hotel last year and due to circumstances out of everyone's control (covid-19) we were slightly disappointed, some of this was our mistake as we had booked the wrong room. However, there was just something special about the location (as the hotel is on the beach front), we loved Kos and made some special memories there. We wanted to give it a second chance, once we had booked my husband wanted the specific bungalow that we were given last year he emailed the accommodation manager Evangelia who had helped us the year before. She was amazing, she replied to every email sent and she managed to give us the bungalow next door to the one we had requested (which both myself and husband preferred). It was our 10th wedding anniversary and when we arrived to our room the hotel manager Christos had organised a bottle of wine for us which was a lovely touch and was greatly received by us. His generosity didn't end there and it continued with more wine and even a lift back to the bungalow on the staff golf buggy, which I really enjoyed. Both Christos and Evangelia were genuinely happy to see us back and were asking us if everything was ok when we saw them. You could see they genuinely cared about our time there. The manager is very 'hands on' and you see him around regularly which I feel is important. All the staff are lovely, really kind and friendly and they all enquired if our holiday was going well. We loved our time here and we enjoyed eating in 'Tranquillo' three times a day and watching the sunset in the outdoor seating/bar area near 'Tranquillo'. Our holiday was perfect and this was down to all the hotel staff and management. The food is good, the setting is outstanding and rooms are regularly clean. We would highly recommend this hotel and we are going to go back again next year. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH :-).
