Overall, we have no complaints regarding the complex, service, food and location of this resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were made to feel welcome by all the staff we encountered, we were comfortable and would happily return. We booked into a Deluxe Seaview with shared pool, September 2020. The first thing to note is that the description on booking.com of the location of the hotel differs slightly to the actual location, the hotel is new so use google maps to get a more informed idea of location or use the landmark ‘Taverna Nikos Contessa’. The hotel website and bookings.com also indicated that this style of room would suffice for 3 people and includes a sofa or chair that could be converted into a small bed in the room, thus giving the impression the room was larger than ‘ours’ actually was. The room we were allocated 211 situated at the front of the hotel and was more bijoux in size only suitable for 2 people. It might be an issue for those preferring a room with more indoor space. Was ok for us. Info you may want to know; COVID; Covid regulations were responsibly adhered to and they were not overly intrusive. The staff wear masks, or behind screens, guests are not obliged to wear masks apart from going up for food. Sanitisers are available throughout. All meal times are buffet style and you wait to be served by waiter who accompanies you around the buffet, you select what you want and they serve to your plate somewhat awkward, we never waited long and the food in terms of variety and taste were satisfying and varied, a special recognition goes to the staff in the dining room, who consistently try their very best in such trying times. COMPLEX; clean and contemporary in design throughout. Did not see where the SPA element of hotel was, so you may need to investigate this direct with hotel. Not really conducive for children. LOCTION; 30 minute walk/15min cycle/5 min drive to Kos town, Vehicle & Cycle hire close by with pick up service. Walkable to a great little Taverna ‘Romeos’ for a change (look up reviews on this taverna separately) also within easy access is a great Beach/club AMOS. ROOMS; Sound proofed when the sliding door is closed, Clean, nicely appointed and maintained, comfortable sleep, efficient room air conditioning. TV good size but not ‘smart’ ie we could not connect our devices to the TV . Sufficient clothing space. Bathroom facilities bijoux with separated WC and only Shower facility both Monsoon and separate hand held, great water pressure. Toiletries are the multipurpose wall dispensed variety. There is a safety box in room however the use of needs to be requested. Sadly, due to COVID restrictions there is currently no T&C service in the room. TERRACE; accommodated with 2 sun loungers and 2 deck chairs and small table. The terrace holds little privacy and smoking from neighbours can become intrusive for those that do not smoke. Fortunately, this stretch of room 205-212 situated at the front ground level of the hotel, has the added advantage of a lawn area to sunbathe on. MEALS & DRINKS; The dining room has a cafeteria style ambience and food is buffet style. Casual attire in the dining room is appropriate, not conducive to dressing up. The bar area has more of an ambiance and is relaxing and should satisfy most tastes. The drinks included in package are only served until 11pm thereafter you pay. SERVICE; at all times, helpful, courteous, friendly, efficient and experienced.
