This hotel is exactly what it says it is -de luxe, adult only, amazing staff (special mention to Giannis and Theo manning the bar) and great food. Nothing too much trouble, clean, welcoming. Although a couple of km outside Kos Town (a blessing as far as we were concerned) regular bus service from right outside the hotel. Drinks a little pricey as you would expect but lovely service and the pride taken in presentation makes up for it. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous. Room 712 with lovely sea and sunset views. Two friends so on arrival we were a little taken back with our very large circular bed 🤭 we were offered a change but decided to stay as we loved the room. Very clean room, lovely toiletries, fluffy towels, comfy pillows, robe and slippers. Fridge which was topped up with water daily. Staff were polite and friendly . The bar should maybe review the prices as not many people were frequenting it and this was a shame. Lowering the prices would attract more people. We were HB which was a great decision. Breakfast superb plenty of choice also A la Carte menu. Evening meal was 5 courses again we couldn’t fault it. Sauna, steam room and spa available. Loungers around the pool were very comfortable. It’s a 5 minute bus ride into Kos Town €2 which we did twice and it was nice to go out for a wander. We also hired bicycles €5 per day or €18 for 4 days which included a pick up and drop off to bicycle collection point. You could also hire E Bikes at an extra cost. Would most definitely recommend this we thoroughly enjoyed this and you don’t have to be a cyclist as my friend had never been on a bike for 25years! Cycle paths were excellent and flat. Everyone of all ages seemed to enjoy this. We travelled past Kos Town saw things that we would have ordinarily missed and found a beach which offered sun beds, Wi-Fi and a bottle of water for €3 what can you not like about that. We also did a boat trip to Bodrum 20 minutes €20 return ( passports needed) we enjoyed our trip, lots of shops selling branded or should I say not branded items but for the price you could pick up a bargain. Some of the men were a tad over friendly and pushy with sales but it wasn’t too much of a problem. Enjoyed it but if we returned would just stay in Kos. Overall we had a relaxing holiday, fantastic stay and would definitely recommend and would return.

We always strive to provide the highest level of product, facilities and yet personalized service, hence to receive comments such as yours is very motivating. Upon arrival to the hotel about 3km outside of Kos town , initial thought's this looks very nice as per the photos. Reception was nice and the staff quick to get you booked in, they explained how the hotel was cashless and you pay for any extras when you check out. We were taken to the room via a buggy the man carried the cases to the room and then waited with his hand out! of course we tip but want it to be my choice. The room was a decent size all white , small balcony free bottle of wine bed was large bathroom was horrible a bath with a shower running from the tap! this would not stay in place and went anywhere but on you.. the toilet run constantly and had to be repaired all the bathroom furniture was water damaged and dated not 5*. The pool area was large pool was freezing no matter how hot it was. Breakfast was ok just about the hotel is more catered for the Dutch & German visitors, if you are looking for an adults only hotel in the same area slightly closer to Kos town look at the Lango by Design its newer and smarter for the same money.

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Please allow us to respond to your comments accordingly: As our reception staff explained that you MAY choose to charge all extras to your room OR you may proceed to pay in cash at Reception. Our porter who has been with our hotel for endless years is professional and your comment is totally a false accusation. Our baths are equipped with shower hooks so that you can have a shower – not as you described from the tap. Perhaps ignorance from your part! Yes our pool is very large as it is described on all our websites. We however DO NOT ADVERTISE A HEATED POOL, but you cannot expect it to be warm during October – (AUTUMN – LOW SEASON). Our hotel is for all guests of all nationalities, which is why we ALL speak the English language fluently. Your comment about Dutch & German guests again is a false because at the time of your stay, our guests were predominantly UK citizens. Finally promoting another hotel at this point shows the lever of how some guests use TripAdvisor in the most inappropriate way, but hey you get all sorts!!! Kind Regards, Diamond Deluxe Hotel Management

Firstly the owners and management need to know that the staff are an absolute credit to this hotel. You just can’t fault them. Always happy, friendly and very attentive. A special mention to Spiros and Mania simply because they served us most days although all of the staff pitch in and help each other. The room is of a good standard, nice bedding, towels and toiletries and serviced impeccably throughout our stay. The pool area is clean with good quality towels provided. Pool could do with being a little bit warmer. But once your in you soon get used to it. The sea at the beach across the road is warmer than the pool!! Sun beds at the beach are ok just getting a bit tired. The beach area used by the hotel guests could do with a tidy. It wouldn’t take much if done on a daily basis. Beach shoes are recommended. Breakfast is very good. Part buffet, and a wide choice of egg dishes cooked fresh and served to you along with your drinks. The evening meal is also very good. A five course menu with choices on all 5 courses. All cooked to a high standard. A great way of trying food you would not normally order or if choosing or helping yourself at a buffet style restaurant. All in all everything about this hotel is on a positive note and we would highly recommend it. Only one negative is the bar and shop prices are on the expensive side. 3€80 for a bag of 128g of crisps at the hotel compared to 1€90 for a much larger bag from the supermarket 10 minutes from the hotel. Quite understand paying a little bit more in a hotel but we felt it was to much more. We witnessed a lot of guests would bypass the bar both before and after dinner and head back to their rooms. Us included. Where if the price at the bar were more reasonable we would most definitely stop for a drink before and after dinner. A special thank you to the daytime barman who was more than happy to provide us with ice to have with our drinks bought from the supermarket to have on our balcony. Thank you Diamond Deluxe Hotel for a very enjoyable two weeks stay.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We thank you for praising our staff, who constantly work hard to provide the service our guests expect. Fortunately or unfortunately, the entire beachfront where our hotel is located is ecologically protected. Nonetheless our private beach area is thoroughly cleaned twice a day. Furthermore, the month of October brings different weather conditions. It is always windy, lots of waves, thus we cannot prevent seaweed, leaves etc. coming onto the shoreline. As for our pool it is not advertised on our website and also on relevant Tour operator websites that it is heatable. Even though Diamond Deluxe Hotel is a 5* star establishment our pricing is fairly reasonable and within the boundaries of any 5* accommodation and venue in Kos. Once again thank you and we hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future. Kind Regards, Maria Kouznetsova Assistant Front Office Manager

You can’t fault the appearance and cleanliness of this hotel with lovely spacious rooms and well maintained gardens . Bedding and towels are luxurious . Never seen a hotel with so many pools plus a beach just across the road too . Bar prices and bar food are extremely overpriced though .. if these were reduced many more guests would eat lunch and stay for evening drinks so the profits would be the same . We and many others went to the supermarket instead and had lunch out as 5 euros for a coke and 18 for a club sandwich was just crazy !! Staff were lovely and nice breakfast but need hot fried eggs on tap to be honest . Also need something on a night - expect they stopped as no one came as bar prices too high !?

Our first stay at this hotel and it is every bit as good as it looks as well as living up to previous reviews. We stayed for ten nights and enjoyed almost every aspect and facility. Without exception, every member of staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and charming throughout and the food was of a very high standard. We have two minor observations which are that our room, whilst having a huge circular bed for some reason, lacked sensible storage space, specifically drawers;it was, however, cleaned and serviced every day to a very high standard. If we return we will look for a room with a different specification. The second observation is that it would be helpful if the hotel had a policy regarding gratuities; favouring individuals for tips can be difficult for guests when standards across the board are so high. Otherwise, a brilliant holiday at an excellent hotel.

I always start a review of a hotel with the question: "WouldIstay here again?" The answer here is a resounding "Yes, absolutely"! The location is superb, quiet, yet on a bus route to Kos town, that said, the road in front of the hotel is not busy. The main pool, architecture, the rooms are mainly in a quadrangle around the pool, normally two storey are stunning, the size of the pool is truly exceptional. The guys and girls who work there are all friendly and really helpful, particularly given that our visit was towards the end of the season. They only get two days off, per month, so to keep up the level of service is staggering. The food at dinner was great. Two things, I was delighted that the used a menu system, buffets can waste so much food. Five courses was often too much so we would miss out courses. Some minor issues, they really are minor: No pegs in the room, you either had to put, for example, the dressing gowns on a hanger, or in the chair. Breakfast, the omelet, far, far too much salt. The pancakes, think very thick Scotch pancakes. We needed a taxi early in the morning, we booked it at reception the night before, when we arrived in reception in the morning, having had it confirmed, we were told that there were never taxis in the morning as they all went to the airport, so we had to trust the bus. Never over promise and under deliver. That aside, if we ever go to Kos again, we will certainly stay at The Diamond Deluxe.

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights in September in a swim up room. These rooms included a terraced area with table and chairs as well as a poolside lounger for 2..This made our stay really special as no panic on getting up to reserve your spot. Infact as our little area was in the shade until 1pm, we would have breakfast (served up to 1030am) and either go for a bike ride or go to the beach. We would be back in time for the sun and the room would be clean and fresh and bottled water replenished. Breakfast was amazing there was a menu and a buffet and they bring coffee and orange juice. I even had creme brulee on my last morning there...for lunch you could order room service from the pool bar and they would bring this over to your sunlounger. We did that once and it was delish but mostly we snacked on food we bought at the local supermarket. Drinks at the pool were expensive but the shop on site sells cans of beer and the supermarket is about 15 mins walk. We got bikes through the hotel at a good price for 4 days and went into Kos a couple of times for meals. We had the 5 course meal in the hotel once and it was very good quality, served in the breakfast room with the same staff. We also had the couples massage which was excellent and a good price. We got a late checkout for 90 euros, bit expensive but had access to our room until 530pm so we were more than happy to pay (our flight home was 940pm). I admit I was unsure about the location at first but once we got our bearings and got the bikes we just settled in and couldnt believe the week went by so quick. It was over 30 degrees the whole week. My husband really enjoyed the fancy touches like when we checked in and got welcome drinks and hot towels and apples on our pillows. We would highly recommend this place for couples looking for quiet luxury however I will stress again that you need bikes and a swim up room to make it 👌

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and our 2 daughters from 25th July for 13 days. We missed our first day due to a Tui flight delay. Thankfully we had the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We stayed in a swim up room which wasn’t as plush as we may have expected but was very clean and comfortable. The housemaids were excellent and our room was cleaned daily and was spotless. The sun beds by the pool and beach were so comfortable and the best we have ever had. The main pool is huge and quiet. The hotel beach was very pleasant but there are rocks/pebbles under foot when getting in to the sea. All of the staff were so friendly and professional and always willing to help. Samer & Mania in the restaurant made the holiday so special. The food was very good and plentiful. It was great to be able to sit down with a choice of menu and not have to rush around a buffet. The spa is lovely with great treatments and the staff so lovely too. The hotel was so quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed it so much we have booked to go back at the beginning of October 2022. Can’t wait!!
