This place is perfect for couples. Lovely modern decor and amenities. The swimming pool is absolutely massive and very peaceful with no young children. This hotel is a real piece of paradise in its seclusion to kos town and the hotels closer to it. The spa facilities were wonderful and both restaurants were amazing. You have to spend an evening on the restaurant on the balcony to see the gorgeous Mediterranean sunset. There’s so much more I could say, but I’m summary this place is an absolute bargain and a must stay if you are a couple or mature family visiting kos.

Unfortunately this is a negative review for the Diamond Deluxe Hotel. I feel compelled to leave this review to warn other potential guests of this risk. The hotel on the whole was great, however the experience was marred by my apple AirPods being stolen from our room. It is also disappointing that the hotel was very quick to defend its policies on “returning lost property” and inferring that they had been lost rather than stolen. The AirPods showed up on the apple “find my” app as initially being in near by Kos. Subsequently they have been identified accurately in a nearby hotel (The Atlantis) and then showed up later back in The Diamond Deluxe. This clearly shows that they are now being used by someone who works at the hotels. Tracking these over a number of weeks these showed up at the hotel on a regular basis. I shared this with the hotel who responded, but never made any commitment to resolving this. They won the battle of attrition as eventually I have given up pursuing them and this is why I have ended up writing this review.

Sadly not 5* beautiful building and pool however room shabby, jacuzzi bath wasn’t working. I don’t expect to have mould in the bathroom, stained worn furniture. Breakfast although a vast choice often lukewarm, eggs overcooked served in badly chipped crockery. Staff were miserable no conversation at breakfast. Zero atmosphere, no entertainment. Nothing at all within walking distance, overlooking a main road. Expensive holiday which didn’t match expectations.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the Diamond de Luxe (our 2nd visit) We completely chilled out and relaxed. Which is what we wanted to do. It is a couples hotel. No day time activities on site nor is there any evening entertainment. There is a bus service from directly outside the hotel that takes you directly into Kos town but depending on the time of day can get very busy. We took the taxi a couple of times which was readonably priced Staff all very professional and courteous and nothing too much trouble Food was excellent, with good choices We will probably return someday!

We stayed at the hotel for a week late September/early October on a bed and breakfast basis. We stayed in a superior/delux room and requested a quiet room. We were given an upstairs room with a lovely sea view (712). The bed is a round low affair but quite comfortable for my fragile back. I do like to sleep with just a sheet in warm weather but there is just a duvet so it’s all or nothing. It’s also hard to sleep with your feet sticking out the duvet on a round bed but these are just personal foibles so not a criticism. The room was very clean too. The only time we heard much noise was the night there was a live singer at the bar but I didn’t mind as he was very good and was finished by 11.00pm. My husband and I loved the breakfast buffet. There was a varied assortment including several varieties of gorgeous yoghurt and a great variety of seeds and dried/fresh fruit. The orange juice tasted so fresh too. We did not bother much with the hot buffet but there seemed to be quite a bit to chose from and also made to order items. Special mention to Theoharis for his lively, cheerful breakfast banter and to Paulos for his polite attentiveness. If you stay on bed and breakfast you need to be aware that the nearest taverna is a good 20 minute walk - Taverna Meltimia - lovely sunsets and food is good. it’s more than half an hour to walk into Lambi itself. Once there though there are plenty of restaurants to chose from and there is parking if you have a hire car. We especially enjoyed the Sunset taverna with its lovely fountain and fabulous food. We also got the bus into Kos Town a couple of times - very convenient and worth the trip. The hotel pool bar is very atmospheric at night although the prices are more than the tavernas so we saved it for a last night treat and enjoyed a cocktail each just for the ambience. The hotel beach is convenient but we did not swim as it was windy during our stay and quite a bit of seaweed was washing in. The pool is lovely and never felt overcrowded. We could always find a sun bed to relax or enjoy a quick dip. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return in the future.

Very late to write this review but my family and I stayed at Diamond Deluxe for 9 nights from 3rd July. Diamond Deluxe is beautiful hotel with very friendly, hardworking staff! Great pool facilities and spa/gym. The hotel is located right next to the beach so is only a little walk away. However, its location is away from Kos town and other tourist areas so booking a taxi in advance may be necessary to help plan your day as we spent a lot of time waiting for a taxi (over an hour on one occasion). Buses are available directly to Kos town but can be very packed during peak times. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Wide variety of food for breakfast, however, more variety needed for vegans/vegetarians/gluten-free for both breakfast and dinner. Staff were all very attentive and welcoming, especially bar staff Thodoris and Giannis who were fantastic and helped make our holiday special. As a family of 4 (all adults) it was a little quieter than we had hoped, especially at night the bar area was often very quiet as most people ordered room service, but perfect for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Lovely hotel and in a perfect spot across from the beach. The area is fairly quiet which is what we like but might not suit everyone. Taxi is only 10 euros Into kos town, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. The rooms, pool area and restaurant were spotless at all times. The swim up rooms are lovely as you get your own double sunbed. Plenty of choice at breakfast and staff very attentive. Portions at the pool bar can be on the smaller side unless you order from the snack menu - these were plentiful. Overall had a fab few days here! Definitely recommend.

We have had the most amazing time at this wonderful hotel. The hotel is beautiful and spotless with an enormous pool which is never busy. We were in a swim up room which was great and was kept immaculate by the lovely housekeeping ladies. The food was outstanding at both breakfast and dinner we were lucky enough to be on half board which was a great decision. If you want to get away to relax then this is the place. We can thoroughly recommend the spa. We had a couples massage with lovely ladies Elena and Maia which was superb. If you are in doubt just book it. We then had a healing massage to target specific areas with Maia, she is such a beautiful soul who genuinely cared about us. We hired bikes from reception from Steve’s Bikes a lovely little family business and we had great fun cycling into Kos and didn’t need to go on the bus once. We can thoroughly recommend Mylos Beach bar for drinks it has a great vibe. What really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They are all wonderful, we did not experience anything but warm and genuine service from everyone we encountered. A few special mentions. The lovely Zoi who greets you at Breakfast and dinner who was both beautiful and kind, Princess and Konstantina who were both so sweet with beautiful smiles, Theoharris and Vihod who kept us amused with their sense of humour, they were like the Vic and Bob and Ant and Dec of waitering! Erlando who was so attentive and offered great recommendations and Paulous the quiet gentleman. There are so many other lovely staff but I don’t remember all their name’s honestly they were all fabulous. If you want a fabulous relaxing holiday then book this hotel you won’t regret it!

The room we had was a superior deluxe room on the 2nd floor. The balcony had a huge tree in the way of the view of the pool and sea. Room was really dark. We asked if we could swap to another superior room and we’re willing to wait for other people to leave then swap. But they just didn’t care. Room had a spa bath that didn’t work. The room had cobwebs and chips and wear and tear. The bath could have done with a proper clean even with a bit of bleach to get rid of the scum. The shower kept leaking onto the floor and would have to clean up a huge puddle after. The fridge was at room temperature and they couldn’t change it with no explanation. As hot as it was there it was really needed. The cleaners would change our sheets but take our pillow cases and not replace them. Also took our robes which we hung up in the wardrobe and never replaced them. Always had to ask for more shampoo and hand wash. The waiter staff were absolutely fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The pool area was lovely and close to other wonderful beaches. Drinks a bit expensive. For a 5 star hotel which we paid a lot of money for could be better. Gym was excellent and spa staff lovely and the fantastic ladies at the gift shop.

This is a must hotel if you want a calming, chilled, adult’s only holiday. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and so laid back. The staff are so welcoming and friendly nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is also very good with plenty of options with plenty fresh produce. We had dinner a few nights this also very nice. We loved it that much that we tried to book again for next September but unfortunately the didn’t do a 10 night stay so we have booked for another adults only further up the road. Keep up the good work DD we will call in for lunch next year xx
