Myself & Husband have just returned from 10 nights in this amazing 5* hotel! From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly by the reception staff & given a refreshing welcome drink. We were taken on a tour of the hotel & spa facilities and then taken to our gorgeous room, the photos online really don't do it justice. The whole hotel complex is absolutely spotless & has a beautiful contemporary design. The sunsets from the terrace are the best i've ever seen, such an amazing setting. The staff all around the resort are so friendly & can't do enough for you. Breakfast was wonderful, the best i've ever had (i've stayed in some good hotels) there was a really good choice of hot & cold food & you could order eggs and coffees of your choice. Epistimi was so attentive & went above and beyond to look after us, she even ordered my husbands omelete & latte as he stepped out of our hotel room, now that's amazing service!! she gave us lots of advice where to eat locally too & by the end of our holiday she became one of our friends! We were also given a complimentary massage which was a real treat & such a lovely touch. The small beach across the road wasn't to everyone's liking but we loved it as it had a daily breeze , the pool was very well laid out with very comfy cabanas & there wasn't a shortage of beds available, luckily nobody hogged them with towels! There isn't much around the hotel so I would definitely advise hiring a bicycle, which cost us €20 each for a week, the ride into Kos town takes about 15 minutes but is flat all the way. I can honestly say this is the best 5* hotel I have stayed in & would highly recommend it! A big thank you also to Maris & Kledi for looking after us too.…
Amazing hotel!!! Wonderful sunsets! Good food and tasty breakfast with great choice!!! Absolute perfect service!!! The receptionists girls are more than fine!!! Helped me with all things, a doctor in need, a diver for the boat, nice dinners, all. Clean and perfectly organised!!! Definitely go back to Lango next year!!! Thank you from Daniela and Andrey
Brilliant hotel, the room was top quality and staff always pleasant/very helpful. The food is wonderful and always plenty to choose from at Breakfast. The best bit about the hotel is the pool area which is always nice to relax around. Location is handy for Kos Town and plenty to do and see both day and night. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely be back.
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Lango Hotel in Kos. Initially we were looking at Crete, however changed our plans when we read the consistently excellent reviews of this hotel on Tripadvisor - and we were not disappointed!!! To echo what a lot of others have said on here - whilst the hotel decor and facilities are superb, the staff truly make this hotel what it is. Everyone is extremely friendly, by the end of the holiday we actually felt as though we had made some friends which I have never experienced at other hotels before! Shoutout to Nikos (poolside waiter) - he gave us some great recommendations and we really enjoyed chatting to him each day, the reception staff especially Chrystali were so kind and helpful with everything, and Epistimi at breakfast learnt our usual drinks orders and had them underway for us before we even asked. All of these small details and human touch helped make our experience unforgettable! The whole hotel oozes luxury from the moment you arrive - it's situated facing the sea and we really enjoyed having a drink out the front before dinner and watching the sunset. The inside is very sleek and stylish, and the pool also reflects this attribute with the cabanas. As the hotel is near the sea, the space around the pool is very breezy and so it never feels too hot, despite the high temperatures in the middle of summer. The hotel has a very relaxed vibe, we had no problems getting sunbeds which was great, as in previous hotels we have woken up earlier than we would have liked so that we could choose the beds we preferred. The breakfast was excellent - a huge variety to choose from and high quality food (which often lacks when food is mass produced buffet-style). We ate lunch each day at the hotel, the pool menu also has a lot to choose from (burgers, salads, pizzas, pasta, Greek food e.g. pittas/wraps) however we found it a little pricey for what it was. We did not have dinner at the hotel as we preferred to venture out into the town as we had been at the hotel all day, however the restaurant looked lovely and there is live music twice a week which is a nice touch. The only minor points of improvement I would suggest: 1. The gym can get quite hot, so better air con or a fan would help 2. There was a desk near the window in our room, but no mirror above the desk. This would have been very helpful to do makeup, as the other mirror was in a darker part of the room Overall, we had an excellent stay - thank you so much to all the staff who went above and beyond to create this experience for us! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and certainly plan to return in the future.…
This is a lovely small hotel. The staff are friendly and always available to help and whether your talking to the doormen, reception staff or waiters, they always have a smile on their faces. The hotel itself is very modern and both inside and outside spaces are immaculately clean. The food is also lovely and the rooms are pleasant, but I did hate the open plan bathrooms! I'm very British I'm afraid and like privacy when I'm in the bathroom, but that's just personal choice and it didn't put me off the hotel in general. As others have mentioned, it is a good 20 minutes walk to town. We hired a car for 48 euros a day and went all over the island and pottered into town at night. Parking is fine and I can highly recommend this as the taxis are a nightmare. We saw 30+ people queuing in the town waiting for a taxi. It is cheaper to hire a car at the airport, so next time we will do that. The private beach possible isn't the best, the sun loungers don't have cushions on so are a little uncomfortable but the breeze off the sea is beautiful and makes the heat much more bearable. I loved it, and our lovely pool waiter kept popping over with a smile to see if we needed anything. Thanks to the team for looking after us 😊 …
Excellent hotel. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Nice and quiet around pool with a bit of background music. Staff are really friendly and it’s genuine. It’s a 2.5km walk to town and a little hard to find a cab so be prepared for a walk. Beach could be better, however for us the pool was good enough (beautiful actually) . Will definitely return. Thanks to all the Staff.
this is the best beach hotel in all of Kos. it is located at the less busy end but you can easily rent a bike near the hotel for 5 euros a day and venture out to see the rest of the beaches. this hotel also has many pools, a great spa and nice new little gym. the rooms are quite spacious and clean. the beds are comfortable. they also have one of the best breakfast buffets in all of Greece maybe even Europe. did i also mention that the women running the front desk were super friendly and helpful. if you are looking for a great place to stay on KOS look no further.
A good friend of mine had visited The Lango earlier this year with her husband and she described their pleasant experience. My girlfriend and I needed to go somewhere to relax and completely switch off from our busy lives in The UK for a week or so and this sounded like the perfect place. From the minute we arrived to the time of our departure 9 days later, we were looked after, with our every needs catered for by some of the friendliest, most caring hotel staff I have ever experienced. I cannot recommend the hotel enough, especially the staff and we can’t wait to return!
After 2 years of cancellations we finally made it to this prebooked hotel. They were already very understanding for that. This is one of the best 5 * hotels we have ever been. Very clean, and faboulous staff. They make you feel a real appreciated guest from the moment you arrive. The room with private swimming pool was great. A small hotel with supberb services.
This hotel is incredible! Every single member of staff is friendly and helpful, from the ladies on reception to the restaurant front of house, waitresses and the people serving at the pool bar. We were upgraded to the penthouse suite and it was so gorgeous with amazing views, huge bed and amazing bathroom. We would definitely recommend Lango for a romantic break.
