I stayed at Captain Pavlos for a week in mid September with my fiancee and our 7 months old daughter Natalie. We bought this vacation last minute and we literally couldn't have made a better choice πŸ’—. We loved everyone and everything there! The location is perfect, so peaceful and quiet, there's only cows and fields around, couldn't imagine anything more relaxing 🌾.The beach is 3 minutes away and is wild and gorgeous, there were only a few people there and sometimes there wasn't anyone but us 🏝️. There's sand as well as pebbles, but those are scarce and it's easy to find spots with only sand. You can walk along the beach, there's a few hotels on the way to Kos and you can actually make it into town in less than an hour. There's also buses for €2 that leave the bus stop right by the hotel every 30 minutes. We rented a car (you get a discount renting it straight from Pavlos and they bring the car in the evening, so you can go on a trip - we went to Kos town and to the Thermal pool by the sea - absolute Magic πŸŒ„, then the next day we drove to the other side of the island and visited the most beautiful beach I've ever been to - Kavo Paradiso ⛱️. It's totally secluded and you've gotta drive all the way to the end of the island, but it's totally worth it!!) We also loved the food, the selection wasn't the greatest however food was delicious and even for me as a vegetarian it was perfect, I wouldn't want it any other way. Super tasty and something different every day πŸ₯˜. Pavlos and his wife are the most welcoming people, as well as Tonia the receptionist. They made it all so special to us. Also, they sell delicious olive oil from their own olive trees 🌿, tsipouro, honey.. such excellent gifts for our families, they all loved it!! The entire place is clean, newly renovated and you can tell they really paid attention to detail. We spent so much time by the pool!! Also the drinks, wine, as well as beer were tasty 🍷🍺. I literally can't think of anything that was wrong. Can't wait to be back, and to meet the little bΓ©bΓ©!! πŸ‘ΆπŸ’— All the best to Pavlos and his family, see you guys soon! πŸ•‰οΈ

We stayed for a week at Capitan Pavlos hotel and I must say we enjoyed every minute. The location is 5 min away (by car ) from Kos town centre that was ideal for us as we ware not after noise and crowdiness. The beach is aprox 150 meters away , clean and almost give you the feeling of your own private place...waters are very shallow ..great for families with kids. Clean room, recently refurbished and renovated. We've checked some reviews about bad food variety and rude staff but I we decided to manage the aspectations from a small family business . All the staff was super nice and helpful so 5 stars on that also. Great holiday and totally recommend this sanctuary- hotel/Kos as an Island... if you are after relaxation and good vibes with a fair budget.
