The hotel is ideally located within the village: a 2 minutes stroll to the ski slopes, a 4 minutes walk to the main street with shops and all amenities, a 7 minutes walk to the swimming pool & cross country skiing resort. The rooms are clean, calm and very comfortable with their king size beds. We were welcomed by a...

I stayed here for two nights in early August. The location is great. The hotel is on the edge of and above the main town with good views of the surrounding mountains. At the same time, it is less than a 100 m walk to the center of the town. The rooms are clean and comfortable and WiFi is complimentary....

During my solo motorcycle trip in the area I stayed in Edelweiss hotel. It is managed by friendly and kind couple that helped me along all the time that i was there with their useful recommendations and suggestions. The area is beautiful, romantic and quiet, the hotel has a garage for motorcycles (or probably cars), a very good dinner offered...

My two friends and I spent 2-nights at the Hotel l'Edelweiss in early August. We booked the hotel room quiet late in our planning, as another hotel we were trying to get, wasn't responsive at all. But we were VERY GLAD that we got Hotel l'Edelweiss. The location is such that you get excellent views of the mountains from the...

A wonderfully relaxed stay in a charming hotel within 100 yards of the main ski lift. Morgane and Thierry the owners must be the nicest people we have ever come across in our travels. Not having booked a meal of Christmas Eve, Morgane found us a place at their gala dinner that night. It was fabulous and excellent value. Despite...

We stayed at this comfortable and extremely friendly hotel in August. Some initial confusion about our room booking, the owners were incredibly helpful and flexible when we inquired about changing dates, and we were made to feel very welcome.......encouraging us to leave our car with them while we did a 4 day mountain trip, and giving us a lift to...

We were greeted on a rainy evening by a warm, kind concierge. It's clear this hotel is a family business, and they take pride in inviting other in. We got a free upgrade just because it was a slower weeknight and he wanted to make sure we had the best possible experience. The dinner (only 13 euros for the "formule!")...

We enquired about a room at the Edelweiss one evening, having decided to stay another day in Pralognan and finding that the hotel we were already in couldn't accommodate us. Right from the start Morgane and Thierry treated us like old friends, letting us into our room first thing the next morning and insisting on taking down the details of...

Warm, clean, quiet and comfortable - two spacious rooms (34 & 35) met our family's needs together with an adequate continental breakfast served with the most delicious homemade jams. Point to note, the water temperature of the showers in both bathrooms was erratic and tended to veer from comfortable to scalding to freezing and back again - a thermostaic valve...
