My wife and I stayed overnight while on our tour of Ireland. The staff was amazingly friendly, which is almost common place in Ireland. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the food was quite good. We had dinner and breakfast the following morning. The scenery is also quite lovely.

We stayed for a week in one of the self catering cottages. They are located right on the Atlantic Ocean and one of the things the kids enjoyed the most was skipping rocks into the ocean and just generally playing on the beach. The biggest plus was Therese at the reception desk in the hotel. We had so many questions... More

The Armada Hotel is in a wonderful location on the water. You can walk out the back patio and head straight down to the sea. The hotel was good also. My only complaint was that the hot water cut in and out whole I was in the shower and that they did not provide washcloths (the many hotels in Ireland... More

We paid a 60euro upgrade fee and stayed in room 122. It was absolutely incredible! Overlooking the ocean, we could hear the waves crashing as we sat by the fire in our room and enjoyed a bottle of wine. The room was large and luxurious. This hotel is so peaceful with an excellent restaurant and charming bar. Highly highly recommend... More

Such a beautiful location, my friend got married here in June and is was truly a beautiful setting, we had a great weekend. We were all very well looked after and enjoyed every minute of it. Johnny Burkes pub at the front of the hotel is such a cool little spot and the food is amazing. Only thing I would... More

Stayed in a holiday home nearby and came here for dinner one night. The food was nice but the service was poor. It was 25mins after ordering before bread was brought out but that gave me time to observe the restaurant. Plate after plate was brought to the wrong table, including ours, and the man I assumed to be in... More

On arrival we were offered warm choc cookies and hot chocolate! Perfect considering we arrived just in from a very windy coast. We decided to upgrade to the Tranquility suite. Your view from this room is literally the Atlantic Ocean! The room was so clean and has a bathtub in the corner of the room overlooking the Ocean, very romantic... More
