We stayed here last week and I cannot fault this fab hotel. The food is wonderful, the setting is perfect but I agree with other reviewers what makes this hotel are the staff who were courteous, attentive and approachable. The bar had a great atmosphere, the dinner in the restaurant was faultless and we had a great night's sleep. I... More

Nice hotel in a fab location; spectacular view of the beach and ocean. The room (we had a triple ) was €240 including breakfast, a bit pricey , but was a big spacious room with a double bed and two singles . The bathroom was very big too. It's all a bit dated tho , not that modern and I... More

Stopped by the Armada during a recent holiday in Clare. Ate in the restaurant and in the bar on two separate occasions. The food was delicious. Gorgeous seafood in the bar especially! Had oysters, crab claws and a beautiful grilled hake. Will definitely visit again if I am in the area!

I'm sitting in the bay window of our hotel room watching the morning break over the sea as I write this review. What a wonderful way to start the morning - gentle foaming waves embracing rugged rocks, sea gulls on the lawn, a pink sunrise and a cup of coffee on its way to my room. Lovely!

We were delighted to have a large room with big windows overlooking the sea. The receptionist was welcoming and very helpful. It was a very relaxed hotel with helpful staff. They catered with children very well. I should add food was good

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions over the past couple of years and always had an enjoyable friendly experience, that was until now. We booked on a last minute deal for one night on the 16th July 2016 and made a reservation for dinner in the pearl restaurant. After settling into our room on... More

I'm amazed at the ratings this hotel has got. I found the room to be "tired" and seriously needed updating. The carpets in the room, in places was lifting and I had the feeling of being in 1980's theme hotel. The shower in the bathroom was very poor and I really would have been better off standing in the rain... More
