We enjoyed our week in one of the two bed lodges. Anything missing on arrival was resolved immediately. The surrounding gardens and playground were fabulous. The pool in the hotel was great but too busy with family times condensed in afternoon. The playroom was great also. Although it is pricey we enjoyed it.

I will be giving the hotel an overall FIVE stars but they definitely have a few growing edges to work on. A friend had previously stayed and gave us a very disappointing reflection of their stay so we were very cautious. We were over all very pleasantly surprised, the Hotel was lovely we had a fantastic family time which we so...

What can I say only fantastic hotel. Staff were so helpful esp Sean the concierge. My sister, three kids and I visited this hotel for one night stay. We got a very spacious family room. Great playroom for children down stairs Food was excellent, we ate in bar on the day we arrived and it was top quality. That evening...

We visited the 'Discover' Santa experience at Fota....not a patch on last year. Where is the train? Our two children were very disappointed. The 'Teleporter' ( a shed that sat all at tables, like on a train, with two nutty professor type of elves shouting instructions to turn on switches on a display). Children of an age to understand were...

It was our first time at the hotel and its quite large and has lovely gardens, surroundings, view etc. We checked into the O'Mahony suite on the second floor and immediately noticed the...

I had been so looking forward to staying in this hotel especially after hearing so many things about it. Traveled down on a Sunday evening by Train as I like train journeys and it is a relaxing way to get to Fota Island. The Hotel website advises - "If you are arriving by train, look for Kent Station in Cork...

We spent two nights in the resort and really enjoyed it. The resort ticket all our boxes. the swimming pool was one of the highlights of the weekend, specially for the children. There is a small playroom by the reception, which my children enjoyed for few moments. The toys are a bit tired but did the trick for them! Breakfast...

I visited for a prebooked afternoon tea and spa visit. It was a Saturday and as the Santa visits had started the whole place from the car park to the restaurant/bar were packed. But as we had reserved our table we were immediately seated. Despite this our order of afternoon tea took over 30 minster to arrive and then was...

Visited Santa here with our 15 month old and we were very impressed with it. The staff were exceptional from the very moment we arrived. They were full of joy and got everyone in the Christmas spirit. Santa himself was excellent and let our little lady adjust to seeing him in real life, in her own time. A lot of...

This is a very nicely decorated hotel and the staff were attentive and polite. Food in the bar is great and breakfast is delicious. Couldn't fault my stay here at all, would definitely stay again if in the area.
