The Grand Magic Hotel, while celebrated for its enchanting entrance and bar, often leaves guests with mixed feelings. Some guests commend the staff's friendliness, whereas others have encountered rude service. Although the hotel is conveniently close to Disneyland Paris, this perk is overshadowed by the basic and sometimes unclean rooms, coupled with expensive food and amenities that fail to meet expectations. The pool and shuttle service are highlights, yet maintenance issues persist. In essence, the hotel's magical promise is marred by the need for updates and improved guest experiences.

The Grand Magic Hotel near Disneyland Paris presented a stark contrast between its initial appearance and the reality of the stay. The reception area was undeniably lovely, both visually and aromatically. However, this positive first impression quickly dissipated upon further exploration. The rooms were noticeably unclean, with visible dirt and grime in corners and on surfaces. Additionally, the rooms were incredibly small, making it difficult to accommodate two adults and two children comfortably. There was virtually no space for storing clothing, leading to a chaotic and cramped living situation. The staff's demeanor was consistently rude, lacking basic courtesy and helpfulness. The food served at the hotel was of extremely poor quality, with unappetizing dishes and limited options. Additionally, the bus shuttle to Disneyland Paris was consistently overcrowded, making the journey uncomfortable and stressful. To add to the negative experience, the toilets near the reception area were disgustingly unclean. Furthermore, the hotel shop frequently failed to open at the advertised times, causing inconvenience to guests. While the hotel's location near Disneyland Paris is convenient, the overall experience was far from magical and left much to be desired.

Overall the Hotel is good, however a few things that need improved.

This feels like a 3 star hotel. Let me break it down:

Customer service is 3/5. Most staff do not smile and appears to be part of the French culture. However they are relaxed and do try to make you feel comfortable and accommodating where possible.

Food is 3/5 but breakfast is 1/5.

At breakfast time it is carnage from 9-10am which what I call wild animals grabbing plates, barging into you, messy counters etc. Food quality is poor and cooked breakfast options is the worst I have experienced. Very little hot options and poor tasting.l with mushy eggs, tiny skinny sausages and tomato’s with bad starting sauce with beans.

Main meal buffet was pretty good with good options and very good deserts.

Bar food is 3.5/5 good, however will not serve you until from around 8pm onwards which is found frustrating and confusing which is not clearly communicated.

Cleanliness is 3/5. While reasonably clean there is a lack of detail in cleanliness. Tables not cleaned properly at times in the eating area, however bar area was really clean. Rooms were reasonably cleaned, however toilets clearly don’t get a good scrub where the rim is disgustingly. Curtains had marks all over so the detail in cleanliness is clearly missing.

Bed comfort is 2/5. They feel like cheap beds and the pillows are square for some bizarre reason, and not comfortable at all.

Bar area is 4.5/5. This is the best part of the hotel which I will let you experience in your own. Lovely experience if only the service improved as it takes an age to get good or a drink. They need a far better system for ordering and clear communication on how it works.

Rooms were 3.5/5. They are decorated well and look smart which is great for families. Nicely themed.

Me and the family booked the grand magic hotel as it was located 10 minutes from the disneyland park. On first impression it was well kept and the lobby area was really nice and the decor was amazing. We booked in and went to our rooms, which we found didn't match the lobby it's was very very basic and minimal not even a fridge. The handle on tbe bathroom kept coming off that we report and the ac only delivers hot air and if you want it cooler u have to open a window and it's gets hot 27 degrees hot, we also report this and was told in Paris all hotels only have hot air which is a lie, as we stayed in the chyenne and dream castle and both had AC hot n cold. The shuttle is free ever 20 minutes or a cab for €20, food is expensive in the hotel but there is a petrol garage 15 minute walk to grab snacks and bits which is cheaper. Swimming pool was ok basic and simple but ok, but the gym have 4 machines and the weight machine was broken so the gym isn't a gym it's a room with stuff ordered of wish lol. Also if you looking for a good place to eat in the park and good value for money check out cowboy cookout it's €18 for a piece of chicken, ribs, chicken and a drink that u can easily share if your on a budget. Hope this helps and it's purely from my own experience and is 100% fact.

Great stay for a great price. The staff are very attentive. The rooms are clean and warm.
Absolutely magical for children and adults.

Pool is warm and clean- very accessible with towels provided. It's a lovely place to go and relax after a busy day at the park.

Excellent location for Disney parks, no problem with shuttle- although with a buggy can be a tight squeeze! I'd avoid the early rush to park (09.00-10:30) if you have really little ones or a large group. It's every man for himself first thing!

Breakfast is good with a varied variation of foods. Always fresh- would be good if there was somewhere to get a tea or coffee out of hours.

Needs: locks on windows in rooms as not safe for little ones.
Restrictions on the amount of food waste at breakfast! Not the hotels fault but people loading up on food that will go in the bin.. not ok!

Overall a wonderful hotel experience we would definitely come back.

Family of 4 stayed for 4 nights, the lobby when you walk in smells amazing and it is beautiful. It has a small shop that doesnt sell alot to be honest and is quite expensive. The reception staff are lovely you can store your suitcases before and after checking and check out. They will give you fresh towels for the pool. (The pool area is abit dated but ok for occasional use, the water is very warm). We asked for a late check out the gave us an extra hour until 12 for no extra charge ... however our room keycard stopped working after 11 so make sure you or someone is in the room after 11am !
The bar area and lounge is fantastic, the screens and music change constantly. The bar food is good we ordered a few things off there and had the odd wine and beer. A nice place to relax of an evening after the parks they serve food until 11:45pm.
The rooms were comfortable although not all of our lights and outlets worked, shower is good gets a good temp and pressure on it. You do have a fridge and a coffee machine in the room which was good. There was a hairdryer but no iron, i think you had to ask for one at reception.
We ordered room service for the kids tenders and chips were €18 each and took over an hour to arrive, the next evening after the parks we ordered from just eat from burger moments it took half the time and was much better value for money.
The breakfast in the hotel was good, it looks like there is enough to choose from but most of it was not to our taste, kids just ate the cereal mainly. We had churros one morning which was different. But every other day was the same items. Pasties were good with a cappuccino 🙂 they are definitely freshly made because one morning they were still hot from the oven !
The shuttle buses come evey 15 minutes to and from the parks, they can get quite busy.
We got an uber from the airport to the hotel which was €48 for the uberx and back. So i personally wouldnt pay per person for the shuttle bus to take you to the airport when an uber is probably cheaper if you have a few of you.
There are no shops near by, so couldnt buy snacks and drinks other than at the parks or at the hotel shop. The nearest place is a petrol garage near santa fe disney hotel, i seen videos online that its a 15 minute walk but i personally dont think it is as you drive past it on the shuttle there are no lights on the road and barely any paths, so if you do want to go there try to fo from the parks to santa fe and then walk back to get the bus to the grand magic

Hotel is clean and comfortable we had a lovely stay!

This hotel is truly remarkable, from the moment you enter the vast lobby area through the revolving door where you are greeted by shades of red from ceiling to floor and you are warmly greeted by one of the friendly reception staff who direct you to your allocated room after a very easy check in process.
The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, the beds allow a sound night's sleep and the expected facilities are all supplied.
The immersive bar area on the ground floor is other worldly, the scenes on the pillars and the large cathedral style window with the various imagery playing are very intoxicating and alluring and it's a lovely place to sit and enjoy a few drinks from the bar and lose yourself for an hour, I highly recommend giving it a go.
The shuttle bus which is free will take you to and from Disneyland every 20 minutes.
The restaurant,Chez Maurice, has a very nice selection of food if you opt for the buffet or go a la carte and choose from the menu at reasonable prices.
All said and done, the Grand Magic Hotel is well worth a visit and the memories made here will last for many, many years.
A big thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our stay so special. Alun ❤️👏👏👏

We stayed at this hotel so we could be close to Disneyland Paris. And it was so it served that purpose especially with the free shuttle to the parks. However that was the only positive about this hotel. The rooms are in need of some renovation. The beds are super bouncy so avoid it if you prefer a firm mattress. The shower had mold in it and the shower head was difficult to keep in place. The hotel did not provide washcloths which is not helpful given they offer shower gel and not bars of soap. The breakfast was awful and chaotic. The hotel staff were nice enough. The biggest issue we had was the A/C. We specifically booked this hotel because of they said they offered A/C. Well technically they do, but they decided to turn it off for the entire building during our stay. They said it was because it was cold outside but our rooms were still very warm and uncomfortable. We had difficulty propping open our window and it took several hours and several visits to the front desk before we were able to get a fan. When we complained to the front desk about our concern with booking the hotel for the reason of the A/C and not being able to use it, the best they could offer was a free drink at the bar. If you are an American, BEWARE that even though it says A/C doesn't necessarily mean you can use it!! Will not stay here again.

Also, we would like to apologize for the issues you have encountered. We strive to provide the best service possible and your feedback is very important to us to help us improve. Regarding the air conditioning, it was not off but on low mode due to the cold weather at the moment of your stay, also in France the law doesn't authorise us to go under a certain temperature. When we arrived at the hotel and walked into reception and the bar I thought wow this looks like it will be good however I would not stay again.
The fridge in the room did not work, the lights by the side of the kids beds did not work in either room.
The cleaners came in to make beds etc and took out second key which I reported to reception.
If you're going to use the pool take a wet suit it's soooo cold, my daughter only had 10 mins and I got her out it was not nice at all.
Offered chips from the bar and they wanted 9 euros for chips on their own I thought he'd made a mistake but when questioned he confirmed just one portion was 9 euros, absolutely rip off!
They staff in the bar spoke very little English which for a hotel I don't think is good at all. The toilets down by reception were filthy, I understand guests have a responsibility too but they need to be cleaned more frequent.
The buffet breakfast had a good selection but the hot food was cold and so bland.
The shuttle bus is good and the bar area is nice but unfortunately that's about it for us, we would not stay again.

We really loved staying at the Grand Magic. The rooms were lovely and our little one really loved the decor. It was really spacious and clean and comfy with lots of storage.
The only slight little issue we had was that the rooms were really really hot despite it being October (we did put the air on on) and the window wouldn’t stay open pronto let air in. The whole hotel was at a high temperature, the lobby and the dining hall.
We found that the breakfast was of high quality, we really enjoyed the food and there was lots of choice for adults and children. There were also paper cups so you could take a coffee out of the hall with you as you left breakfast which was nice. The lobby and areas were really aesthetically pleasing and my little one loved the lights etc. There was lots of space and it looked modern, clean and welcoming.
The staff were all really friendly and welcoming and the check in process was quick and straightforward.
The shuttle was handy as it was right outside the door, the shuttles were busy but we always got on them first time and we never had to wait long (I think 10 minutes was the longest that we waited). They are crowded as you would expect but like I said we always got on and although we had to stand it was comfortable as it’s a very short journey and nobody pushed or shoved or knocked us.
We paid €50 for parking and we parked from Wednesday evening to Saturday morning.
We used the pool on our last day and it was really clean and tidy and was a lovely pool in general. We went Saturday morning and there was nobody else in the pool! The water was a really nice temperature.
We would definitely come back here again, my little boy loved his stay! We were very impressed! Thank you Grand Magic!

Our recent stay at the Grand Magic Hotel was unfortunately marked by several disappointments which considerably impacted our overall experience. Despite its location and properly furnished rooms, the hotel has serious shortcomings, especially for a 4-star establishment.

The main problem encountered concerns the communication of prices at the hotel restaurant. We were charged 207 euros for an all-you-can-eat buffet, an exorbitant rate, especially considering our children's low consumption. The price display was not only ambiguous, but also misleading, which gave us the impression of a form of forced sale.

Beyond this restaurant experience, the hotel's infrastructure leaves something to be desired. We noticed many broken lockers at the swimming pool, lamps out of order making certain areas dark, particularly the changing rooms. The hallways have damaged walls, and the elevators operate erratically. These issues demonstrate a lack of maintenance and attention to detail, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category.

We also experienced technical issues in our rooms, including faulty heating and lighting issues, which were not resolved satisfactorily.

Despite a formal complaint addressed to management, we received no response or satisfactory solution. As a customer, I expect a level of service and transparency corresponding to the standards of a 4-star establishment, which was clearly not the case here.

The quality/price ratio of this hotel is very disappointing. It is imperative that the Grand Magic Hotel takes steps to improve these aspects and comply with the expectations linked to its ranking. We hope this feedback will contribute to a significant improvement for future customers.
