We stayed here for my husband's birthday. The place is magical. The apartments are spotless, amazing amenities, lots of extra touches and great attention to detail. We had a great time with the other guests and Karen was a perfect host. We will have many fond memories of our stay.

We recently spent a week here in one of the two suites (not the apartment). It was perfect for our needs. To fall asleep to the sound of the waves and awaken to the songs of orioles and other birds was wonderful. Having access to a kitchenette in our room and large communal kitchen was a bonus. It was close... More

Thank you for your kind words about Celeste Vida and our efforts to make our guests feel comfortable and to enjoy their stay. We wish we could have fulfilled your request to stay in the larger unit La Maryville. Maybe there will be a chance to do so in the future. Thank you for visiting the Yucatan, Celestun and staying... My husband and I were looking for a quiet retreat from Merida so we ventured to Celestun for four days. Little did we know that Casa de Celeste Vida would be so delightful. It is just like you see it in the pictures only better. The grounds are well landscaped and cared for offering sitting areas for privacy or social... More

Casa de Celeste Vida is a beautiful house right on a picturesque part of the Gulf of Mexico. Steps from the beach, I had the Gulf to myself both morning and afternoon for lazy swims. Wanda and Karen who run the home and hotel are both friendly and attentive and the hotel is only a kilometer from the village of... More

We have been wanting to come down for years and so glad we finally made it! A great place to come and relax, the location is fabulous on a quiet beach, great for walking and shell gathering. The town has everything you need, a market, bakery and small grocery stores fully stocked. We stayed in the casita, which was very... More

Wonderful place! Beautiful setting on a wide, quiet beach-- great for swimming, walking, and shell gathering. Lovely sunsets. 2 units have standard bed and bathroom, as well as a small kitchen off to one side and a little table for dining by the window. Very pleasant establishment a kilometer or so north of the main town. Relaxing setting right on the beach. Not much to do here (aside from the flamingo tours) but that's why you come! AS other reviewers have said, the hosts were great - thoughtful and accommodating. There's full kitchen for use of the guests, which is a nice touch. Fine... More

Wow!!! Went here for three nights with our family of five, and we loved it The Casa de Celeste Vida is beyond beautiful and had everything our family needed to be comfortable; it has hammocks, lounge chairs, outdoor tables and chairs, a perfectly appointed apartment, and a quiet, private location. Kenn and Wanda were the greatest hosts -- kind, friendly,... More
