The Hotel Guia is a great Hotel. The location is great, it is situated in the old part of Macau, close to a lot of attractions. The service is very good, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was really big and very clean one of the best rooms I had in Macau.
This hotel is located uphill close to the Guia lighthouse with roof garden for viewing. 20 min walk from city center and tourist attactions. The hotel is an old style hotel, feeling like back in 1960-1970 time, but looked newly furnished toilet and decoration. Reasonably acceptable if you like classic wooden furniture bed room. Reasonable Price and good to stay for relax.
The Guia hotel is located on a hill, five minutes there is a bus stop, by 25, 25 B you can drive to Taipa and Cotai , where to go to the casino Parisian Macao (Eiffel tower) , Venetian Macao and City of dreams... Luxury -@,@- By 28 B you can go to the beautiful place to Chapel of Our Lady of Penha. The Guia hotel has 5 floors , there is a transparent elevator and restaurant on the first floor. The room is comfortable, there is a bath , toiletries , slippers , cable TV 150 channels, the view is gorgeous (in my opinion) on the sea and the bridge and, most importantly (for me), on the lighthouse Gia! Beauty. Very cozy atmosphere, wood, there is a green lamp, as in the library. In General the level of light (stock lights) this 3-star hotel better than 4 star. So as sources of light was 5! There is a terrace on the roof , there are beautiful flowers and a good view, including the lighthouse Gia! From the hotel by walk to Flora Jardin, San Francisco Jardin, Churches and protestant cemetery, to historic Senado Square and the Red Market, Ruins of St. Paul's about 10 -15 minutes. All within walking distance! Very convenient for walk :)))…
Front desk very helpful. Room tidy and clean. Chinese dim sum are very good , with lots of locals. Dinner is not very expensive. Would definitely come back very soon. For the elderly, they should avoid it as it is on a steep slope. But the front desk can call taxi for u.
Took a taxi from the port to the hotel, just a few minutes drive. Area is quite quiet, yet still not too far away from the old town and St. Patricks Ruins. For that price, the rooms were actually really good! Free shuttle buss back to the port.
