Location-wise, it's located at a very good area, with easy access to the popular St. Paul Ruins while passing through the small equally popular streets like R. dos Ervanarios, Passion Street, and small Instagram-worthy alleys. It's also just a few minutes walk to Senado Square where you can go for good food, and shopping as well. It's in a quieter area which is good for rest but also close enough to the action. I would recommend this hotel especially if you're not into the casinos and wanted to get a better feel of Macau's local and cultural side. If you have to go further than Senado Square, the bus stops are just around the corner, 1-2 blocks away. Many buses go direct to popular places, here are some that I used: bus 3/3A to Fisherman's Wharf/Sands Hotel, bus 101x to/fr Outer Harbour Terminal, 26/26A to Taipa, Venetian/Parisian/Londoner, and as far as Coloane Village. Facilities: The room was clean and spacious. I got the corner room which maybe was a bit tighter but being a solo traveler, it was perfect. The room had good views of the old buildings around, so try to ask for a higher floor if you can. The bed was super comfy, the pillows were soft yet firm, and they didn't sink or go flat. There's a shower and bathtub and the toilet and bath area were both clean. They made up the rooms on a timely basis and I was able to come back to the room around noon and find my room cleaned already. Complete amenities including mini ref, electric kettle, bottles of water replenished daily, shampoo/soap, disposable toothbrush, shaver, slippers, etc Lighting and atmosphere of the room was relaxing and fresh. Airconditioning was perfect, room got cold very fast upon turning on. TV was okay, although at times, the connection seemed to be slow, so the shows appeared choppy. I didn't really watch TV but wanted some white noise. Internet speed was acceptable, did not have any problems. They had international (or US-style) plugs which was really helpful, didn't need to use a travel adapter. 1st Floor restaurant/lounge is really nice. I like the ambiance and they offer snacks and coffee from 7am-7pm. I rarely saw people there so it's a nice place to hang. This was really helpful for me to stop in for a quick breakfast, they had crackers and cereal. And also when coming back after a long day, fresh water with fruit/cucumber was perfect to hydrate. There's also a microwave if you want to heat your own food and some tables to hang out in as there is good relaxing music. Didn't see any ice machine, I might have missed it. but that would have been a great amenity for me personally :-) Staff: Excellent staff at the lobby/front desk. Special mention to Harvey Santos, one of the senior front desk officers. He was very welcoming and made me feel at home. He offered tips on where to go, showed me directions, etc. When I initially couldn't find the entrance to the hotel (bec I went to the back entrance which was the gym), I called the front desk. And he came out to the street to find me. You just have to go around, the hotel is the whole triangular block. Thanks so much for everything. The other members of the team were also very friendly and helpful.…
