The Regency Art Hotel, as they are now called, is a medium range hotel in Taipa, on the shore road across from Macau city. We were there in early October. We were able to watch the last night of fireworks from our room, which was right across from the convention centre. Room numbers 26 to 35 face the base of... More

The room we were given was a little old, as is the hotel, but it was quite spacious. Management may want to consider upgrading their facilities or, if they would like to maintain the old/classic feel, repainting the walls and furniture, changing the wallpaper and carpet, and similar minor improvements. The hotel is very accessible to buses which is a... More

This hotel fails in every aspect. It is in a poor location, must take taxi to go anywhere. I have spotted a shuttle service sign but shuttle to nowhere really. Take a taxi to vientian and shuttle from venition to lots of places. 2 cups and saucers in the room and fancy water urn. No spoon, no coffee, 2 t... More

Regency Hotel is a very old hotel but surprisingly comfortable. The lobby is under construction so it can be very noise even if in night time. The front desk is friendly and showed good manner. The room is old Macau style and a bit worn down, I felt like went back to 80's. However, the room is very clean and... More

I went with my girlfriend to stay the night. First impression was poor with reception staying they couldn't find my reservation (booked with Ctip) and that they couldn't provide me with a room until they figured out their reservation systems. Finally after much arguing and waiting around they let us have a room. The hotel was also under construction so... More

Though it is an old hotel, but worth to stay here. One can travel almost everywhere in Macau at free of cost by using free shuttle buses plying between any hotel and Ferry Pier. Breakfast spreads are very good and complimentary wifi keeps you connected.

Being an Indian, Macau is not a place where one can cherish shopping or hopping. It is a gambling paradise next to Las Vegas.Being quite cold in Macau we found the room quite warm . Decent room service. Quiet rooms. The hotel has a small corner bakery where they serve breads and basic bakery stuff. Nothing great about it. The... More

I stayed a couple of nights in this hotel while searching for a new place as I am new in Macau. I recommend this place since it's near to The mall and other touristic places. The price is also good for those who are on budget since I stayed for two weeks .

Regency Hotel is an $8-10 taxi ride away from the casinos and Taipa Ferry Terminal, so this is probably not the most convenient choice. Still, unless you're willing to shell out a couple of hundred dollars a night for a Cotai hotel, Regency is one of the few affordable choices in Taipa/Cotai. The room was clean and the beds comfortable... More

The tiles still gleam and the brasswork still shines from this hotel's former days as a Hyatt, but the nature of the place has changed. The resort visitors have fallen away in favour of mainland tour groups and what was a wide-ranging breakfast buffet is now mainly dim sum and congee. The bar is generally empty. The resort facilities are... More
