Excellent campsite. Clean !!! Showers good pressure, modern and hot. On site trust shop for your essentials, laundry facilities, hook up with plenty of power. Spar shop just down the road as is the Raven Pub with great spots for viewing the bike racing. Close to Peel and Ramsey. Couldn’t ask for more and we’ve stayed at others on the Island and around the Uk and Europe. 5 stars isn’t enough.

Fantastic campsite and in a brilliant spot to watch the racing. Steve the camp owner/manager is never off duty and is always willing to help with any problems or issues. 2nd time visiting. Toilets and showers maintained to a consistent high standard and cleaned throughout the day.

I rode to the IOM on KTM Adventure bikes with a friend from England, we did some touring around the island and came upon Steve's amazing campsite by recommendation from the lovely lady at Niarbyl Cafe when she "In no uncertain terms" told us that we could NOT put our tents and bikes on the grass in front of the cafe, even if the view is fantastic! She recommended Ballamoar and said that the views there were even better... She wasn't wrong! But more than the amazing views and the sunrise and the immaculate facilities, FREE Tea and Coffee when ever you want it, free WIFI, More than everything everyone else has already mentioned, was Steve and Georgia, the nicest, friendliest, easiest most welcoming people you will ever meet. I will go back to the IOM just to stay there and say hello. Truly excellent. Thank you for everything and look forward to seeing you again.

Its the 3rd time we have stayed at this site when visiting family and it really is excellent. The site reopened for the bank holiday weekend, it was busy with local IOM campers and visitors (like ourselves) there with family. Whilst you may pass other sites en-route, we wouldn't go anywhere else! The secret to a great site is cleanliness for the toilets and showers and this site is deserving of his 4 stars! Its spotless, great size pitches, super hot showers, Steve really has thought of everything. Honesty box tuck shop in the spacious communal area with all the appliances you would need whilst camping! Microwaves, toasters cups, plates, fridges! Pub at the end of the road and well stocked Spar shop too. Looking forward to our next visit. We love this site, thanks again Steve.

Beautiful location. Quiet campsite. Hardly a sound from other campers in the evening. Lights out at 10.30 and many good nights of sleep here. Spotless, hot, powerful showers. Honesty tuck shop on site came in very handy. Very well stocked Spar 5mins walk away. Great pub at the end of the lane. Loved our stay here.

This is simply the best campsite I have ever been to! Steve was exceptionally accommodating and the facilities were brilliant. The kitchen/games area was brill and kept our two amused with jigsaws and monopoly. The tuck shop was so useful and the site itself was clean and friendly. No noise after 10 of before 8:30am. I wish all campsites were this well run! I will be recommending this site and the Isle of Man to all of my friends.

Excellent, Steve was so helpful and friendly, brought stronger tent pegs over for my son and family as it was so windy. Clean, well kept site and Steve tops it with being so friendly. Best loo roll I have ever used at any camp site!! Good family site, and makes sure everyone is ok. Nice clean kitchen if you need it and well stocked little food area. Pub and shop down the road. Better not say too much, as everyone will go there! Really hope to be back when we can get back to the IOM to see family. Keep up the good work Steve. Linda Collins, and family.

Thanks to Steve & George for running quite possibly the cleanest, most welcoming campsite we've been to. Dog-friendly, lovely showers, great little campsite hut, close to local shop and pub as well as great nearby walks. Highly recommended!

We've travelled throughout Europe and to other campsites both on the Island and in the UK. None are as clean and friendly as Ballamoar! It's without doubt our favourite 😊 As well as having fantastic toilet & shower facilities, there's a communal area whereby you can do your dishes, use the fridge-freezers, even purchase a pint of milk and an ice cream!
