My wife and I have camped for far too many years to mention and so have come across many camp sites over the years. We have stayed on this site several times over the last couple of years and have found it one of the most friendly, clean and enjoyable sites we have ever stayed at. We cannot recommend it enough. The hosts, Steve and his wife Georgia, are most attentive to the campers needs and nothing is too much trouble. On weekends there are quite a few "locals" camping and we have got to know a lot of these families. The site does get a bit busy when there are major motorcycling events held on the island but it is never overcrowded to the extreme and the facilities cope well and are always clean.

Its always a worry when you google and see photos and you just hope they all stack up, well worry no more because this campsite is EXCELLENT. Easily accessed off the main road and a perfect location for TT week. It has well laid out grass pitches of generous sizes, clean and modern toilet and shower blocks with piping hot water in the showers. EHU and water points by the pitch and by far the best facilities for campers with limited space because the reception area is the best we've experienced. You have plates, cups, cutlery, fridges, microwaves, instant hot water, FREE tea, coffee, milk. An honesty box for the tuck shop, sofa's and the TV for the rainy days ... Steve has thought of it all.. Outside of the reception area is undercover with tables, chairs and heating, its BRILLIANT and welcoming. We stayed during the weekend of the IOM Astronomical Society event, star gazing with dark skies, perfect conditions, perfect site and perfect host. Thank you Steve, you have a real gem of a campsite.

First time for me on Isle of Man for classic TT and stayed on campsite , hubby had stayed before and it was as good as he said. The welcome we received from Steve was like he knew us as old friends, the site immaculate and facilities great. The communal building had everything you could want and a cup of tea! We will definitely be back.

Superb site with very clean toilet and shower facilities. Loads of electric hook-up points for motorhomes. Very short walk to the Raven pub where the beer and food are great. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
