This was our second visit to the hotel. The location is brilliant, the rooms were basic but fine, the food was plentiful and fine, the drinks were plentiful and fine. We only drink red wine so the variety was fine for us , the animation was fine, they tried hard when the crowd was not that enthusiastic 🙂 but what makes this place special is the fantastic staff. The restaurant staff could not have been nicer!! Aphrodite at the small pool was a bundle of joy and laughter. Andi and Felix in the main bar were fantastic, I'd employ them in a heartbeat. Thank you all!!

We visited for a week and had a really pleasant stay. The rooms were adequate and were cleaned every day, some areas could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. Pools were clean and plenty of sun beds. Pretty hotel with nice views. It is situated in a peaceful area so a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Small shops, bars and the beach were in walking distance away. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Bar staff especially, definitely felt like they enjoyed their jobs and wanted you to have a good time. There is entertainment in the evenings which we really enjoyed, Greek dancing, karaoke, quiz night etc. The food was good for all inclusive, little bits missing that were mentioned by friends like fresh orange juice/apple juice, coffee other than filter - there’s a whole machine but only serves filter coffee, fresh fruit would have also been a bonus other than orange, grapefruit and tinned fruit. Although the drinks were cheap, i don’t really think you can include the drinks in the all inclusive. No gin, vodka, cocktails, all had to be paid for. The only thing that really let the trip down was the amount of plastics used and thrown away, no recycling. We asked to reuse our cups but we’re given new ones. It’s a shame to come away and see this due to recycling efforts in our home country. Overall, really good holiday, friendly staff and adequate facilities.

All inclusive??? No gin no vodka no cocktails all plastic glasses. Extra 3 euros for cold glasses. Bar staff rude arrogant and really can’t be bothered, they are all in the wrong business. If they were polite then you would tip them. I have been to many all inclusive and this was the worst experience of all!! Shame on you Gaia Village.

Just returned from a week fully inclusive having been allocated this hotel by Jet 2 as our original one had closed, unfortunately I am unable to say anything positive about this ? 4 star resort. The food was dreadful and if you were prepared to eat what the flies had crawled over then good luck. Rooms basic and air con leaked all over TV, furniture and clothing. Drinks well having to pay for a bottle of water in a fully inclusive. We ate out every day and went to supermarket for breakfast. Music round small family pool dreadful foul language swearing not the sort of thing you expect in a family resort. Definitely won't return.

I went to Gaia Village with six girlfriends for seven nights. It was a fabulous stay. The hotel is a short transfer from the hotel (I would guess about half an hour with no other hotel drop offs). We arrived at about 2330 due to a flight delay but we were greeted with sandwiches, snacks and drinks on arrival. Our rooms were basic, but had everything we needed and the showers were nice and powerful. The bed was a little hard for me, though! We spent most of the week around the lovely larger pool which had plenty of sun beds. A minor criticism would have been that there weren’t enough parasols, but there were enough beds that you could follow the shade around. There was another pool on site which was more aimed at children, again with plenty of beds. The pool bar opened at 1000 and served all inclusive drinks until 2300 but stayed open later if you wanted to buy drinks. A HUGE thank you to Felix and Andy behind the bar who were amazing and so friendly and welcoming. I had read a lot of reviews about the limited alcohol available all inclusive, but the beer and wine was nice and refreshing, and they did not skimp on the measures of rum, ouzo and brandy and had lots of different mixers. There were plenty of other drinks available at very reasonable prices and the cocktails looked amazing. The food was probably the best I have had at an all inclusive hotel. There were different things to try every day and there was lots of delicious local dishes as well as your more traditional British/German/Italian etc food. And the desserts! Incredible. The staff in the dining room were lovely too, always warm and welcoming. The beach was a 5 minute walk away, if that, and had plenty of beds. The ones closest to the hotel were €7 a day for two beds and a parasol. The beach had lovely golden sand and the sea was crystal clear and warm. It stayed shallow for quite a way out until it dropped off. There were breath taking views of nearby islands and you could see over to Turkey. Tigaki itself is lovely - it has a fabulous little main street lined with souvenir shops and tavernas/restaurants. We went out to eat one night to The Kitchen - highly recommend!

I highly recommend the hotel. A suitable place to rest in a quiet place with good service and a kitchen where everyone will find something for themselves. Every evening, great animations that everyone came to and had a good time. I highly recommend a place for someone who doesn't like crowds. A very safe place. We were expecting such a place for the holidays. Wifi works all over the facility very well. Tasty drinks and friendly service. One thing that the service people can pay attention to is the ban on smoking in the canteen on the terrace, which everyone would be happy with. There is so much free space a few steps away where you can smoke.

We came to this hotel for a 10 night stay, for a relaxed and chilled holiday. When booking, you obviously come to look at the reviews and I seen a few things about the sunbeds and how there’s not enough for the amount of people that stay here. We managed to get the same sunbeds everyday, with more than enough left spare. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner wasn’t the best. We felt there wasn’t much variety at all, with the same things being served every time. They cater a lot more for Germans and Dutch than they do British. There wasn’t even childrens meals every meal time, they only do chicken nuggets and sausages at tea time. Fruit was quite dry too. Me being a fussy I just lived off pasta and chips the entire time 🥴 The food wasn’t labelled very well either. We ended up going to the strip which is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel every night for a meal, but considering we paid all inclusive, it was a real let down that the meals weren’t variated. Maybe it would benefit if they did set days, for example Mondays they do Chinese food, Tuesday they do British food, Wednesdays they do Indian, etc. Just so it feels like everyone is having an opportunity to enjoy something. You’re allowed snacks through the day which are croissants from breakfast…so come 12pm they’re stale from the heat. Children are entitled to ice cream, but adults have to pay for ice cream which I think is wrong. The drinks were a real let down. When booking all inclusive you’d assume that cocktails and alcohol come in with that. However, the only alcohol available as all inclusive is red wine, white wine, draught beer, brandy, and standard rum (no Malibu or anything). You obviously have your all inclusive soft drinks such as coke, lemonade, fanta, and juices. There’s sparkling water on tap as all inclusive, but you have to pay €0.50 for a bottle of water, which isn’t awful but it doesn’t make sense to me personally. Any cocktails you want are between €4.50-€6, which isn’t awful but again, considering we paid good money for this hotel and holiday, it was a huge disappointment. The pool is lush and the rooms are too. We booked a superior room because I seen a few reviews and photos of the dated rooms, but the superior ones are lovely. Only let down was that our balcony was blocked by a huge tree, so we couldn’t see anything from it :/ There’s entertainment every night expect Saturdays. Fridays were our favourite because it was pool party night. Thursdays are quiz night, Wednesday is a Latina party, Monday is Greek night, etc. There’s a little on-site shop which sells all the local snacks, and the lady who works there is lovely! Really cheap prices too, except suncreams are €18-€20 a bottle so make sure you stock up before coming! They also have a little kiddies pool, and an on-site gym which is handy. Along with 2 pool tables and a table tennis table.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Close enough to the bars and restaurants (although all inclusive) The beach is 5 mins walk away. Quiet at night. Huge rooms. Cleaners everyday. Two clean pools. One more lively one with deep water or the quieter one with 1m depth. Great for kids. Never a race for sun loungers. Could turn up at 10am and easily get two/three together no problem. The staff are all friendly. About out to Aphrodite in the smaller pool. She is lovely. Polite. Hard working. an asset to the hotel. Food was ok. Not amazing but not terrible. Always salad available and fresh bread. Kids food and pasta. The Greek night was the best night. But we never went hungry. Ice cream for all at lunch and dinner. My daughter has a peanut allergy and the staff were unable to say what did or didn't have nuts. We asked at reception and they said the chef would cook for her something specific if required however when we asked he said the food she wanted was finished. Thankfully she was ok with the ice cream or jelly. But was not good for allergy information. Oh and there were lots of foods with nuts and peanuts. Drinks selection just beer, wine, brandy, ouzo or white rum. Plus soft drinks. You want something else - walk round to the shop 2 mins away. It's no big deal. Always a cocktail of the day for €3.5 usually tasted good. Kids club was everyday except Monday and sat. Nice people running it. Not sure why the mini disco was away from everything. No bar or anything. Could have easily been done by the pool tables. Top tip. If you go to the beach head left to the loungers before the swing. €3 for a longer and only €5 for 2 hours on the paddleboard. Great value.
