Great budget hotel. Our room was dated but clean. There was a good variety of food and they catered well for my daughters multiple allergies. The all inclusive drink options weren’t great - no vodka which was very disappointing. For the money that we paid we had a great time and couldn’t of asked for much more from the hotel.

After reading previous reviews on this hotel I was seriously worried about our planned holiday here! We arrived late Thursday evening and check in was easy, the staff were very friendly & helpful and a packed lunch was ready for us (sandwich, biscuits, an apple and a bottle of water) We were given a map to find our room but we got lost as it was dark, but a lovely gentleman who works at the restaurant helped us find our rooms. The rooms were ok, spacious and clean but only 2 towels were provided for the 3 of us and when we requested another we were told they had none in the hotel so we’d have to wait…there was an awful smell to the room as there was a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor with a loose cover over it (not very safe with kids!) and the smell was horrendous, our room smelt like sewers 90% of the time. Beds weren’t the comfiest but I don’t think any other bed than your own is comfy! €30 deposit to hire a kettle which I think is a little steep! The food? Well, what can I say..I’ve never in my life known mixed veg and carrots available with your breakfast haha. There was bread and two small toasters, limited cereal choice but plenty of prepared/dried fruit. Lunch and dinner were awful, such strange concoctions! Needless to say we ate out most the time. All inclusive drink options was pretty poor, soft drinks and very limited alcohol options. Overall the hotel was really clean and well looked after, staff were always helpful and friendly and great with my two children. Ideal location as tigaki beach was only a 10 minute walk away and plenty of restaurants/tourist shops just around the corner. Also close to the salt lakes. Just a few things that really let it down, which is a shame cause it’s the main things you choose AI for. They really need to rethink their food and drink options or maybe not offer AI.

Half term in kos this hotel was pretty good for a cheaper budget food was good and changed nightly complex clean and tidy with friendly staff . Not much choice of drinks in all inclusive package unfortunately could do with a few more options as beer was watered down

Room Tip: Probably best to avoid in busy periods however as it was quiet plenty on loungers

I emailed ahead as it was my husband’s birthday and our anniversary, gave us a nice room overlooking main pool. Hotel is very close to main strip with easy access to the beach. Had read reviews about the food not being that nice so we had taken extra money so we could eat out but in the end we only ate out for my husband’s birthday as the food was absolutely fine. Had a lot of Greek dishes which was nice and what should be expected from a Greek hotel. To all the moaning people that seemed to complain about anything and everything please stay at home and stick to your meat and potatoe pie as I had to take home a lot of Euros but they will do for our next trip. The room was nice but could do with some more plugs, the shower was lovely and powerful and had plenty of hot water. The all inclusive drinks are very limited and the tea and coffee ended at 9pm which should be changed to 11pm like the rest of the drinks so people who don’t drink can still have something. The entertainment was pretty much non existent in the evenings with the guys doing mostly quiz shows most nights, they should just put on some great music instead. For the price we paid we really enjoyed ourselves.

If you watch your pounds generally when booking, spend a little more on the hotel and go self catering. AI in Kos is NOT the same as Spain or Egypt. At Gaia e.g. very limited watered down/lack of quality bar shorts & Mythos not included, wine is awful, food lukewarm, 11pm bar stops AI drinks, midnight lights out even if you’re drinking, better quality drinks are at a cost, you have to pay for 2nd wk WiFi (only reachable in reception), if you want pool/beach towels you pay a returnable €10 deposit per towel. Good bit - nice room, nice staff, it’s clean, near beach, 2 mins from main strip, great local eateries, bars, shops, bus stop to Kos town by beach We always read the reviews and mostly ignore general comments as everyone has their own opinion. However, we will never stop here again and wouldn’t recommend you spend your hard earned cash booking Gaia when our favourite place, Mythos apartments Tigaki, is available. Try this place and you won’t want to go home. Guaranteed Gaia, get your act together. Not ***
