We had such a fantastic break here for 7 nights. Spotlessly clean, great rooms, beautiful gardens. Highlight was the entertaining staff; Jery ,Maureen, Vera, Xenophane and larrisa. Full of enthusiasm, super friendly, always entertaining guests from morning to night, with various activities throughout the day! I hadn't mentioned that it was my birthday, however a cake was delivered to my room with a card from the hotel staff, lovely touch. We wish all the staff at hotel blu all the very best and hope to see you all again soon.XXX

Everything from start to finish was just amazing! The room was beautiful - we booked a private pool and loved the privacy and sun in the afternoon. The pool areas were super clean, lots of sun beds available and entertainment was on if you wanted it. The staff would come round with fruit and snacks which was a nice touch. Multiple bar areas to choose from too! The food was a little bit repetitive in the buffet area but was great overall. The a la carte restaurants are absolutely stunning - definitely don’t miss out on visiting! The kids snack bar does the best crepes, I think I went daily! The grounds are beautiful, the hotel is so modern and feels new and clean and fresh! Tigaki was very cute, we spent two nights in bars and felt really safe and the atmosphere was lovely. We visited the beach once, it was nice for a change but was super windy! Definitely walkable. The bus stop is across the road and takes you straight into Kos town which was super handy. The supermarket is also just across the road which was good for getting water and snacks! Would definitely come again and 10000% recommend! Thank you for a beautiful relaxing holiday!

We booked this hotel for 5 nights early October after staying in Kardamena the first part of our holiday. Unfortunately we were left incredibly disappointed by Utopia Blu so checked out early and moved to a different hotel. Positives - The general design of the hotel grounds and rooms is nice - The location isn’t bad, around a 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants. You can get a bus to Kos town just outside and there is a supermarket just across the road Negatives - The swim up rooms are small, smaller than we were expecting. We tried to change to a private pool room however we were told all the remaining pool rooms did not get much sun on the terrace/pool area - The pool area is painfully quiet. We like to relax on holiday, but we felt like we had to whisper around this pool - The all inclusive cocktail selection was poor and the plastic cups they serve them in where tiny and filled with ice - In our swim up section we stayed in, there wasn’t any way to access the pool bar without having to go back through the room. This was frustrating as having to walk back and forth to the bar getting multiple drinks at a time because the cups are tiny then trying to open the door with the key was a chore. There is also no drinks service. A pathway leading from the swim up pools to the main pool/bar would be beneficial. - The hotel didn’t seem remotely concerned in us cutting our stay short or the reasons behind this after I advised we weren’t enjoying our stay Overall, this hotel just really isn’t what we want from a holiday. The hotel really has little to no atmosphere or character about it, even on a night time. We enjoy good food and don’t feel the buffet here provided a good variety and what we did have wasn’t very cohesive or tasty. We ate out most of the time because of this. You might notice previous reviews of people raving about the crepes and cheese toasties from the kids pool, this should have been a red flag given people are more excited about the kids snacks than the actual food being served. This isn’t a hotel for foodies, I would rate Breakfast 5/10, lunch 4/10 , dinner 6/10.

Dear sdunnxo, Thanks a lot for taking the time to review your stay with us. I am sorry to hear we did not reach your expectations and that you did not enjoy your room and drinks quality. We put our guests satisfaction as our first priority, therefore I am absolutely surprised that no one from our team, including myself did not come back with a solution to the issues you faced. I was not aware that you interrupted your holidays because you were not satisfied. I am sorry that you did not have the chance to discuss with me in person all the things you mention here. I hope you will give us a chance in the future to restore our reputation to you, since the entire team is customer focused and even if nobody is perfect, we all do our best to offer a memorable stay to our guests. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Have a great day ahead and greetings from Kos. Kind Regards, Guest Relations Manager

Me and my Husband stayed here for 7 nights. We stayed in the adults only section, our room was very small, small double bed and bathroom was very awkwardly designed with door opening onto the toilet. Hotel is spotlesses clean and set in lovely grounds. Meals were repetitive, alcholic drinks seemed to be watered down. Kos town is definitely worth a visit and just a short bus ride away. Lovely little bars in the area also worth a visit. Tingaki is a small friendly resort with a beach 15 min walk away.

Dear Venture313021, Thanks a lot for choosing our hotel for your holidays in Kos and for taking the time to review your stay here on Tripadvisor. Your wonderful stay is our goal and we are always trying to improve the little details that our valued guests mention. We are sorry to read that your room was not up to your standards in terms of size and layout. We would be happy to find a solution for you if this was mentioned while on-site. Furthermore it is with great surprise that you did not enjoy our 11 different themed nights in the Main restaurant in a 14 days rotation and that you did not find our variety big enough. Our chef and his team are trying to represent most international cuisines as well as most typical greek dishes and salads. However we are glad to read that this did not affect your stay with us. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to our resort and correct these little flaws so you can have a memorable and spotless stay. Have a great week ahead and greetings from Kos. Kind Regards, Guest Relations Manager

My family and I (wife and 2 daughters) stayed all inclusive at this lovely hotel for the last 2 weeks in July 2022. We had a fab time. The hotel is beauftiful and clean. The food was very nice and we never struggled to find something different and delicious to eat. The drinks were nice too especially the ouzo. :) The main pool was very busy but we spent most of our time at the kids pool anyway which is a lovely area. The stars of this hotel are undoubtedly the staff. They are all absolutely incredible in every part of the hotel and were always chatty, warm and welcoming. The entertainment team were also wonderful in particular Jerry, Juliette and the spectactularly energetic Seline. One tiny gripe was my 13 year old daughter being asked to cover up her very modest bikini top at lunch one day when there was a constant stream of ladies in very un-modest string bikinis with either see-through or net barely there cover-ups that were covering up absolutely nothing. We get that there is a dress code but to ask a child to cover up (who was then quite embarrassed) and leave others unchecked was a little frustrating and should be changed for children in my opinion if that is the hotel policy. This is however a beautiful hotel and unless you're on holiday looking for things to moan about then you will have a lovely stay here.

We booked our first all inclusive with TUI Blue in the hope that we would have some gluten free options. We were amazed with the Gluten Free food I received. George, the evening chef, was a fabulous help! Every evening he showed me around the buffet explaining my options and if the food wasn't gluten free, he would ask what I would like to eat. I had every confidence in his ability to cater for my allergy and his attentive nature is an asset to the hotel! There were always plenty of sun beds available, although, for this time of year, the pool was very cold and therefore I didn't go in it. The rooms were immaculate and there was some night entertainment in the hotel but this usually finished by 10:30.

We stayed at Utopia Blu for 10 nights. We were looking for an AI somewhere close to UK (short flight) where it would still be warm in late Oct and this seemed to be the place! Just over a 3hr flight and the weather was constantly 26 degrees! Perfect. Transfer from the airport to hotel is 20mins. We were first stop. The hotel was very clean and new. Exceptionally well kept - it didn’t have that tired, worn look that so many hotels get over a long few seasons. It was very modern and fresh. The house keeping staff were astonishingly vigorous, I’d watch them every day from the sun patio cleaning the glass balconies with the same enthusiasm and speed, whilst I sipped on a pina colada - I felt so guilty! We had a swim up room - 3508. In Oct we didn’t get the sun until about 4pm and then only a smidge so we ended up sitting on the beds opposite - which defeated the point of the swim up, but it was good in that we could easily pop in and out of our room over the day. Ensure to close the mesh screens on your patio doors as the resort cats will happily walk in and join you for a siesta on your bed! The room was compact but suitable (no drawers) and yes you do have to do a little door dance to get in and out of the bathroom. The shower was lovely (rain shower and detachable hand shower) with supplied shower gel and a decent hairdryer with a double sink. The TV was huge, we plugged in our fire stick as only the news channels are in English so we could watch movies and “Strictly”! And a large safe big enough for a laptop - mine stayed in there the whole duration! You get two 1ltr bottles of water in your little fridge - nice touch and a kettle and tea/coffee (replenished daily - not the water though). We found the king size bed (a proper double and not two pushed together) was too hard for our liking so we found it difficult to get restful sleep - but we accept other reviews found their beds to be comfy. Loved the fluffy robes and slippers and the swim up terrace rooms had two padded sun beds and two deep wicker chairs and a table and clothes line dryer screwed to the wall to air your towels and cossies. The air conditioning was good, we did find on occasion in the morning we could smell cigarette smoke coming through it which was coming up from the maintenance lower ground floor beneath us. We know this as we could smell the smoke from the stair well outside across from our room when we walked by. The swim up rooms are worth it for the convenience, but check with the hotel if you prefer a room in the adult only section (I heard that it was a little windy over there in Oct. as the wind did channel it through like a wind tunnel there) or one that had the sun more. Our room was beside three pools, our pool was mainly in the shade all day so it was a little cool to swim but we had another one to jump in. The pool bar was easy to get a drink and the drinks were strong - pina coladas! The beds around these pools were padded. The main pool had the entertainment (although you could hear it around the complex) but the beds aren’t padded there. Get your towels from there. Ensure to use the hotel app, as you can book your two inclusive restaurant bookings. The Elia Mediterranean restaurant is over in the Adult area and Il Brunello is above the breakfast area - not easily signposted I know! You have to pay for a bottle of wine in both of these restaurants or you can have the regular AI by the glass wines/beer. Prices start at 18€ if they have in stock! We paid the additional 65€ to keep our room through to 6pm as we weren’t leaving until 9pm. You can book a time with reception for a departure shower at no extra cost (as you have to vacate your room by 11am) - which will probably work out if you are staying out of season as the spaces will book up otherwise and you can only reserve your room after 3pm on the day of departure (so if it’s busy they cannot guarantee you’ll get it). Best to ask as soon as you check in so they can plan accordingly. We had no problems and I’m glad we did as it made the whole packing and leaving more relaxing and less stressful. There is a supermarket right across the road. We bought an iron for 17€ but we never used it! The hotel doesn’t provide irons and the laundry service is expensive. The bus stop is right outside / buses to Kos every hour (ie 9.30am/10.30am) for €2.10 and it takes 20mins to Kos. You can walk to Tigaki in about 20 mins and some nice restaurants and the beach and a few souvenir shops. The only downside for us at least, was the food at the hotel. Some reviews have also stated mixed responses. Each to their own. We didn’t enjoy the food at all and it was the only let down of the whole holiday. We didn’t starve, but the food wasn’t to our taste - very bland and lacked seasoning. There wasn’t that much choice. Lunch was pizza/pasta, burgers, chips, gyros and salad. Every day. Even the two a la carte restaurants weren’t that much better. You need to pick 4 courses up front - the food just seemed to lack finesse and flavour. Sorry! Entertainment was winding down as we were end of season so I can’t give proper comment. A Greek night (singer, musicians and two Greek dancers). The resident Animation team did a few stints, we missed the legends evening (we heard it) and I think that’s when they had Michael Jackson tribute - sounded good. Two guests did a reenactment of their wedding dance and it was like Strictly Come Dancing they were that good! We did the Tui volcano tour to Nisyros which was like herding sheep (they were large groups of around 100) but was a good day out and I’d recommend it. Try the sweet tomato ice cream - bright red - tastes like vanilla ice cream! We also took ourselves on the red line city tour hop on hop off bus from Tigaki (15€ each for 90min tour) booked ourselves on the yellow submarine at Kos and saw the mermaid which was a pleasant trip out of the bay. Take a coffee at Kos port and watch the world go by and see the super yachts arrive. All in all it was a lovely resort, a lovely holiday in a lovely setting. I would recommend coming here, just perhaps expect to eat out on a few nights if you like your food!

Dear Jackie B, Thanks a lot for your detailed and honest review and thanks for choosing our hotel for your recent holidays. It is with great pleasure that we read that you had a great time overall and that you recommend us to fellow travellers. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy our food variety and taste. Our executive chef and his team are doing their best to satisfy our guests and catering for more than 600 people a day sometimes can be a big challenge. We are also sorry to read that you did not enjoy our elegant a la carte restaurants that have received great feedback overall this year. However, we hope that this did not affect your stay and that we managed to offer you a pleasant holiday and we are sincerely looking forward to welcoming you back in the near future in order to restore our reputation to you. Greetings from the entire team here in Kos. Kind Regards, Guest Relations Manager

Really loved this hotel. We rarely go to AI hotels as previous experiences haven’t been that good but this place is something else. It is immaculately clean the grounds are beautiful. Whoever trains the staff must be commended as everyone we came across where friendly and efficient I have to specially mention Anna who served us to evening drinks in the entertainment bar what a joy she was. The food was very good for breakfast with lots of choice also evening meals we could always find something we liked. The deserts were always delicious. But I did find lunches a bit disappointing for my taste ok if you like burgers, hotdogs and pizza. The two a la carte restaurants were good very nice to sit and be waited on. I found the AI drinks fine I’m not a cocktail drinker but the gin and tonic was fine and the white wine. The room was lovely we had a family room for the two of us so there was plenty of room. I’m glad we didn’t go for a swim up pool as a lot seemed to be in the shade for most of the day. There was never a problem getting a sun bed we spent our days around the lagoon pool which was lovely and quiet. We did use the transport to the beach for one day Tingaki does have a lovely beach. All in all a 5 star visit for us and would recommend to anyone hope to return again

We stayed at this beautiful hotel from 24/9/22 to 8/10/22 in Room 2614 in the Adults Section. We arrived just before midnight and after we had checked in we were given a snack (sandwich and an apple) as the restaurant had closed, this was much appreciated. The Reception Staff were really helpful and checked everyone in as quickly as possible so we could get to our rooms. The room was lovely and we had the sun all day, the balcony overlooked the area where the Wedding Receptions, Dining under the Stars and Yoga, Boules etc took place. It was very quiet where we were. There are bath robes and slippers in the wardrobes, a safe and lots of storage but no drawers in the bedside tables or dressing table. When we arrived we had a heart shape made out of towels on the bed and petals, it was such a lovely welcome. The bed was really comfortable, the pillows are a bit soft but that is my personal opinion. The bathroom is on the small side and we had to step into the shower and close the door to get to the toilet, but other than that it was very clean and modern. The housekeeper kept the room spotless and it was always cleaned when we got back at the end of the day. The food in the buffet restaurant was lovely and we did not struggle at all to find things ro eat, we thought there was a good choice, especially at Breakfast. All the staff front of house and behind the scene work so hard and our thanks to them all, especially Mele who looked after us so well. We used the shuttle bus a couple of days to go to the beach, which was lovely The guy on the beach was so friendly and helpful, free bottles of water are available and there are toilets across the road, where the bus pulls in. There was an issue with people reserving sunbeds and not using them until later in the day, however the General Manager, Stefan gave everyone a note to say that beds could not be reserved and towels will be removed. The next day he came round and removed 6 lots of towels. The young ladies at the Pool Bar, Eva and Ilektra were so friendly and were always pleased to see people and made time to have a quick chat, they made some great cocktails. They never seem to stop and were always on the go, serving, cleaning, collecting glasses etc. We enjoyed the afternoon snacks, Toasties and Crepes, made by Stella and Katerina at the snack bar in the children's section. It was fascinating watching them make the crepes, which they made look really easy. Thank you ladies, they were fab. Our thanks to all the staff in the Terrace Bar, especially Athena, who we had a really good laugh with, she was funny and we liked the banter. When we ordered drinks, they arrived really quick, the only downside with the drinks was the small glasses for the beer! The hotel is in a great position, the bus stop to Kos Town is just outside the gates, it is only a few minutes walk from shops and bars and there is a great supermarket opposite in case you forget any essentials. We had a fantastic time at this beautiful hotel and would highly recommend it, we will definitely be back. Thank you to every single member of staff at Utopia Blu for making our stay a really enjoyable one. See you again soon.

This hotel is a lovely hotel we stayed as a family of 4 and had a fab time. Food- overall good- does get repetitive not 5* but to be honest no all inclusive hotel I have ever been too has been 5*! I am fussy and always found something to eat! Fresh omelettes cooked whilst you wait in the mornings / pastries / Cereals / Fruit at lunch the pizza was always nice & fresh and we really enjoyed the themed nights! My husband said the cooked breakfasts were sometimes Luke warm! The Italian restaurant with one free visit was good- my boy had sword fish and loved it! We all enjoyed it! Crepes by the kids pool 10/10 the Nutella ones especially! Drinks - pina coladas recommended! The only down side for the drinks for me was you had to pay extra for some ‘premium’ cocktails / kids slushes! Never had this in a 4* hotel. White wine not great but again dependent on taste! The grounds are absolutely stunning! The whole aesthetic of the pool area / grounds 10/10! We had a normal room but some of the swim up / jacuzzi rooms looked amazing Rooms are fab - spacious we had a travel cot which was brill and the beds were spacious Water in the rooms which was a really nice touch Location - not far from a few bars / restaurants we walked down the street a few times for drinks / foods Kids slides were great our 4 year old enjoyed them & also the kids club where we stayed with him and could paint draw etc for a change of scenery! There are no chemists in the resorts we needed a chemist and and to taxi to the next village so I would deffo bare this in mind for future All in all a great week in the lovely sunshine and would deffo return
