We stayed at fili apartments for 1 week. The room was very basic and a bit outdated but fine for what we needed. As it was self catering was a bit disappointed it didn’t have a kettle or toaster. All it had was a portable 2 hob thing. And a fridge. A few plates etc.. the cleaners were great. However one morning at 7.30am we were awoken by someone unlocking our door and opening it and then to say sorry in a Scottish accent and leaving again. So once we were up and dressed went to tell the owners to which he replied impossible and wasn’t interested!! Not great customer service. So then started locking valuables away as we didn’t have a clue who could get into our room. Going over to the pool bar restaurant area straight away noticed signs everywhere saying not to bring your own food or drink in the pool area which as self catering we thought was very cheeky! Have never come across this in all the self catering places we have been. We sat round the lower pool area and took drinks with us anyway. We like to have a bit of a walk so going to the shop wasn’t a problem but if you have mobility issues you wouldn’t like walking to nearest shop as was a 10 min fast walk away. There is a big supermarket in Tigaki which is a 2 mile walk away which we preferred to do. If you go to the track on left as you walk out of the resort and just keep walking you will get to the main road into Tigaki and is a lovely walk with loads of wild fig and fennel plants. Taxis are available at about €5 so not too bad. There is also a bus that goes into Kos town for €2.10 pp definitely worth a visit. The beach is a few min walk from Fili. If you keep walking a bit further up there is some sun beds you can use. We found a good little cocktail bar in Tikaki called memories and across the road we went to a good little pub/night club but was a bit drunk by then so can’t remember the name of it🙈. We also found a traditional Greek taverna/ restaurant round the back of the resort so if u just keep going left out of the resort you will come across it. Absolutely amazing food so we ate there most of the time. Overall the staff at resort were friendly but favoured making sure their regulars were looked after first. The whole area is very quiet and relaxed which is the part we enjoyed and if we felt a bit livelier we would go into main Tigaki..

Had a wonderful two weeks at Fili (29/05 - 12/06) arrived around 2am and got a super friendly greeting at reception, The owner acknowledged our email request for a quiet apartment and we were helped with our cases to number 11. The room was just perfect, Up a small flight of stairs, A balcony at the front, small kitchen & living room area, Decent sized bathroom & wardrobe space, 2 single beds and enough bedroom furniture with sliding door & security grill leading onto the rear balcony with a decent sized table & chairs. The front balcony received the early morning sun & the rear balcony the late afternoon sun & the wonderful sunsets over the sea view’s, Table & chairs moved accordingly. Total privacy on the rear balcony & in earshot of the waves crashing onto the beach = Bliss. Room cleaned 13 out of the 14 day’s and more than enough towel changes, cleaners friendly & worked hard. Had breakfast & lunch a couple of times and the food was cooked well, Plentiful & reasonably priced. Large beers served in frosted glasses at 3.5 euros were welcome in the blistering heat. Two decent sized swimming pools & one for the toddlers, Plenty of sunbeds & refreshing to see no ‘Sunbed Hoggers’ , Music from the bar was chilled & relaxed played at the right level. The bus stop to Kos town is a 5 minute walk, The beach (No sunbeds) another couple of minutes walk. Local supermarket another 10 minutes away. Beaches with sunbeds are approx a 30 minute walk from Fili. Ampeli restaurant serving wonderful food in a working vineyard a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. We like to walk so Fili isthe perfect location for us and will definitely return someday.

Perfect in its simplicity - a dream location. I am always very careful when trying to book somewhere to try and find somewhere peaceful. Fili Apartments lives up to this. Situated away from the main “strip” of Tigaki, it is a quiet family run place with exceptional service. The only thing that will wake you in the morning is the sound of the waves, the doves and possibly (depending on the time of year) the heat. The apartments are simple but comfortable (please be aware that you need to pay for AC and to clarify if you have a proper double bed as opposed to two generous singles side) and most have a balcony. There are three pools which are wonderfully clean, and ample chairs to lounge by which get sun for most of the day. The quiet part of the beach is a minute away, the supermarket (very well priced) is 5-10 minutes away depending on your speed. There are also some lovely family run restaurants near by, or you can drive/walk to nearby Tigaki or beyond. It is very easy to access all the key tourist areas from here and there is a bus stop near by also. It’s genuinely very convenient, well priced and comfortable for a simple but very enjoyable stay. Finally, if the above doesn’t convince you to stay, I’m happy to report that Fili apartment staff are simply excellent. Very relaxed, knowledgeable , very kind, generous and also funny. The bar man in particular is credit to the team and creates a wonderful atmosphere for all the guests which ranged from young children to older solo travellers. We hope to stay there again and recommend that you do too.

Room Tip: AC is 5 euros a day if you need it. Shower pressure not great - but worth it for the great...

Just returned from 12 nights at Fili apartments. Never been to Kos before and so glad we chose these apartments. The place was really clean, towels changed every other day, bedding changed every 3 days and apartment cleaned every day. The family that run Fili are amazing and made us feel at home straight away and would do anything for you. Food was really good and lots of choice. Would definitely recommend and we will return soon. Apartment was basic but had everything we needed. About 1.5 mile to town but was a lovely walk in the evening to the many bars and restaurants.

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. Hotel is a small family establishment and it was always to pleasure to go for breakfast and dinner (we stayed half-board). It is mile of so from the main town and ideal for us as very peaceful. Also near a secluded beach which was great. We loved the food which was always perfectly cooked. Rooms as basic but very functional and extremely clean. The same applies to restaurant and pool area. I would take some insect repellent as there were some mosquitos which is unavoidable in a hot place and not the hotel's fault and they had a spare plug in repellent which they kindly lent us. I would definitely recommend Fili Apartments - But remember it is a small 2-3 star hotel, however, the service is 5 starts.

Just returned from 17 fabulous days at Fili Apartments with my husband, my mum and 14 year old daughter. What makes this hotel so special is the family that run it. Paul, Helen & Filio are all so helpful and friendly and a special mention to Dionisis who works hard and is very quick witted and made us laugh daily especially my mum. The 2 swimming pools are perfect and we spent a lot of time in them as it was extremely hot! We met some lovely families during our stay and it was so relaxed. We had 2 x 1 bedroomed apartments that were suitable for our needs and the aircon was well needed. The food from breakfast to evening meals are tasty and great value. We all had a wonderful time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fili Apartments. We've already booked for next year!! Thank you all at Fili for the perfect holiday from Julie, Pete, Jean & Katie

What a great holiday we’ve had here! Stayed 11 nights with my partner and 8 year old son, Isaac. The staff can’t do enough for you. The quality and price of the food means you don’t have to leave the hotel at all if you don’t want too. I’d recommend the Special burger and the kebab. Both are amazing! It’s a walk into the town of Tingaki and if you have a car it’s 3-4 minuets. The accommodation and pool are just lovely. Clean, with a fridge in the room. The pool is warm, with a slide for kids and adults alike. If you like the beach, it’s a 5 minute walk to a sandy stretch where the water is crystal clear. An example of Greek hospitality at its best. Enjoy 😊

I spent 12 nights here and it was the best service I’ve ever had in such kind of this hotels , very nice team working here ( I think there are a family running this hotel). the room it isn’t that big but it was more than enough for me and my wife and easy to cool down with the air conditioning, the kitchen is enough to cook something fast and easy, they have some pans and cooking stuff so it is good. Now to the business, the food was so delicious anything you order from them we gonna love , really delicious food with a very nice desert after that, again there service is just so awesome ( kebab and stifado is highly recommended). For the pools they are really clean and I saw the guy there taking samples several times so you can say that they really care enough about it. The location of the hotel I found it just awesome 3 minutes slow walking and you are at the coast road , long road and all of it just sand beaches with some trees so you can chill in the shade and if you want just few minutes more you can arrive to beaches that served with drinks, parasols, and chairs. Supermarket also close to the hotel. I loved it at there hotel and would love to come back again
