Stayed with a group of friends between a few villas. Was a great place to stay. Nice pools. Breakfasts were so so, breakfast tortilla yum. You’ll need to hire bikes from here as the place is a 8-10min bike to sunset and 10-15min to the main side of Gili

We loved our stay at Kelapa! The villa was absolutely massive with our own pool and outside living area with sofas and TV set in a quiet compound away from the busy part of Gili T. The bedroom was huge with outside bathroom. A very safe, chilled vibe with friendly, helpful staff. I couldn't recommend more highly.

I’ll preface my review by saying it is clear that along with the rest of the world Gili and it’s hotels have suffered repercussions due to the impact of covid and are just starting to get back on their feet. However, there is no excuse for the disgusting villa we were expected to stay in. It’s fair to say the photos attached will speak for themselves. On arrival we were disappointed, the villa no doubt had once been stunning as per the glossy promotional photos on the booking sites. However, it was incredibly tired with worn fixtures and fittings including cigarette burn holes in the seating. It all looked and felt grubby and unclean. The pool towels were damp despite supposedly being fresh and clean. The bathrooms were in need of refurbishment with the showers being little more of a trickle. Indeed it is fair to say the whole villa desperately required work to be considered ‘luxury’ as billed. We did make the decision to leave after initially discovering blood on one quilt cover. Which then led us to check all the bed sheets. Our discoveries were horrific. I wouldn’t like to speculate on the bodily fluids covering both the mattresses and covers. It is utterly disgusting to think anyone would think it appropriate to simply dress the bed with clean sheets over what undoubtedly was a health hazard!! To be clear all three mattresses/beds in the three bedroom villa were disgusting. Two more badly stained than the third but all unacceptable. Our experiences of Kelapa Villas would lead us to suggest that they are trading on their reputation of old and previous standards. As it stands this can not be described as a luxury accommodation and I would urge anyone considering staying here to reconsider.

We had been recommended to stay here by 2 different friends, and we can say they were 100% right in recommending this place. We booked the villa for 3 nights but only wish we had longer. It is situated in the middle of the island which makes it easy to travel to both sides in a short amount of time. The rooms are clean, large, modern and the aircon is great. The food from the restaurant is amazing and fresh. The staff are so friendly, we even made a great friend who would come partying with us in the night. They organised a snorkelling trip for us, and transport back to the harbour when we departed. Overall I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Gili T, for the price we paid it was amazing.

We traveled this trip as a family of 5 , so we picked a 3 bedroom villa with pool in the heart of the island ,so that we would be close to everything. The speedboat from Lombok deposited us on the beach with 5 suitcases in the rain , we had no idea where we were or where we were going. As there are no proper roads here we dragged our bags through massive puddles and mud and rubbish for 20 minutes to Kelapa's reception. No problem , staff very friendly and helped us get our bags to Villa Mimpi, which is just around the corner from the main Kelapa villas " lovers lane". Villa Mimpi was great, beds great, pool great, lounge & kitchen great. Fully stocked with lots of glasswear, books , games etc. Breakfast delivered to your villa is a big selling point here, all over their website. However ,on our first morning ,we go a knock at the door and were told breakfast was not coming it was "too far and would get cold" we had to go to the restaurant! Really!!! Not happy ,but what can you do, has never been a problem in Indonesia before. Day 2 - after 3 trips to the office as there is NO phone to call, we have to move villas as there is an ongoing plumbing problem that is no longer acceptable. We are moved to a huge 5 bedroom villa with a huge pool. The villa is beautiful and huge and comfortable and they will deliver breakfast here. The only problem was the mosquitos eating you alive, we were all covered in repellent and I was burning the coils but they were relentless.

Hello Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write a review. We are thrilled to read that you loved the villa and of course, you are welcome back anytime. Thanks also for the shout out to the staff, who work wholeheartedly to ensure our guests have a most memorable experience. Unfortunately, though the coffee machine is no longer available in the one-bedroom villas. We do serve barista-style coffee from the restaurant all day which you can also order via WhatssApp. Thanks again for staying, we hope to see you again soon! Best Regards Nicole

Absolutely loved our stay here, for the price it was absolutely amazing. Breakfast delivered to your villa at no extra cost and the breakfast was one of the best we had in the 5 different hotels in Indonesia and so much to choose from. Private pool is just lovely, felt like we were on our honeymoon. The bikes are available to hire and are a must really at this hotel as it is about a 40 minute walk to the main part. We had to get a horse to the hotel with there being no public transport which I didn’t really like to do but there is no choice and it’s no longer than a 3 or 4 minute journey. The staff were lovely and nothing is too much trouble. If you want to use the mini bar make sure you take a bottle opener as there isn’t one in the room but it was very well stocked. When you come out of the hotel the sunset part of the island is to the right and main strip is to the left. Bed was really comfortable and television had English movie channels. Would definitely recommend this hotel and return.

Dear Rebecca Thank your wonderful review! It was lovely to host you here and we are super happy to know that you liked so many elements of your stay and so much so, to achieve honeymoon status. I do apologise though for the lack of bottle opener in your room, each villa is usually set up with one of these, so apologies again for any inconvenience caused. Thank you again for your review and for choosing to stay with us. Safe travels and see you next time! Team Kelapa Villas

This was our third stay at Kelapa and once again we were really pleased with our choice. The villas don't fall into the luxury category but they are spacious, clean and very well priced. We stayed in Purnama, one of the superior 2 bedders and loved the space, large pool, comfortable beds and bathrooms. Villas are located in a quiet location in the middle of the island but still only a 5 minute bike ride to the sunset side of the island and a 10 minute bike ride to the harbour side. Breakfast (kinda average) is delivered to your villa each morning and bikes are available to rent. Staff were all terrific. Kelapa villas is highly recommended.
