Loved this little villa and the design/interior. Was very shabby chic and the private pool was a bonus for that added privacy/peace! Pool was warm and cleaned daily, showers nice and hot, only thing we didn’t like was having to walk a fair bit to decent restaurants and the harbour. Bikes weren’t available to hire and when we did get one it was more stressful trying to drag it through the sand and on the dodgy roads with no light at night. Breakfast was alright, definitely recommend the choc/banana pancakes. Mini bar stocked daily and mosquito net around the bed (although we still ended up getting bitten to death with spray on too while we were here!) Would recommend going to Mahamaya restaurant if staying here! a best restaurant on island for western food.

Stayed here for 8 nights 2 adults and 2 children in 2 villas with private pool. Villas were nice, clean and spacious. The private pools were a little too small for the kids to play in so we used the bigger public pool which is very nice. Staying in high season, you might find that plates, glasses etc. are not sufficient in the breakfast buffet or you have to wait for your eggs to arrive, which some guests found annoying. However it really isn’t much of an issue in my opinion, wait a few minutes, talk to your loved ones, enjoy the fact that your on holiday on a wonderful little island and unwind. Staff are super friendly and will do everything in their power to help you out. Staying for more than 3 nights will make you part of the family. Location is “off the beaten track”. At Meno that translates into: 10-12 min walk to the beaches with turtle reef on one site and under water statues on the other. 25 min walk to the harbor and the beautiful paradise like beach. Rent bikes and you will get around in half that time. 5 min walk to Jizzy Warung (in our opinion the best food on Meno).

Wow, such a peaceful place with decent quality villas, and nice pools. I headed back to GIli Meno for a weekend break last week after fallign in love with it on a family vacation last month. Decided to try a cheaper option and was shocked at how good a place you can find for the price! You may think that beach side is absolutely essential, but this island is so small, even slightly inland you are barely ten minutes from the beach by walking through unspoiled local villages. HIghly recommended

We had a lovely family stay here with 2 rooms - a bungalow by the gigantic salt water pool and a deluxe room with private plunge pool - well, it was our 20th wedding anniversary ! The staff are lovely - including those in the restaurant- and they sorted out a couple of small room problems with no fuss. The rooms have a rustic style but are very comfortable with excellent quality mattress and sheets to give a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was good - with lots of fruit available, Nasi goreng, eggs/pancakes to order etc. The only negatives were that they only provide 1 small plastic bottle water for each person in the room - despite staying for 6 nights. This is a bad policy in terms of the environment and customer service. Everywhere else we stayed gave refil access to large drinking water containers for free. Also, the bar and restaurant prices were too high meaning we always went elsewhere and we would have liked to have a drink or meal here with the lovely staff. It would be good if they had bikes available too - they “helped” us hire some but those bikes were really dreadful and we saw much better bikes on the island.

I stayed here for 1 week with my family of 4. two of us stayed in a bungalow next to the main pool and the other two stayed in deluxe bungalow. The normal bungalow was very nice, with a nice bathroom, but for a room that is labeled for two people did not have enough closet space and the air conditioner sounded funny but everything else was great. Right in front of it was a gigantic pool! Nice and deep with a shallow area for younger people, it was a salt water pool. The deluxe bungalow behind the smaller bungalows were very very nice the pool it came with was nice, not to cold. The room its self was lovely and the bathroom was in a better condition, it had a fair amount of closet space as well. The area it self is very very quiet. The hotel staff did arrange bike rentals and horse and cart which was very useful. Speaking of the staff they were very very helpful and kind. The morning breakfast was great especially the chocolate pancake. The buffet supplied you with coffee, orange juice, tea, and what i suspect is watermelon juice. It also supplied you with, a range of fruit (all very nice) and toast w/ butter and jam. All around I do recommend this hotel.
