Was worried after no reviews for 4 years, but shouldn’t have worried. Reception staff excellent (Michaelo ) any small problems resolved fast. Pool bar inexpensive ouzo/mixer €3 large beer €4. Large chips €4. Breakfast good international selection. Can spit to the excellent sandy beach. Rooms like premier inn( but no kettle). Little supermarket beside hotel English prices but cigarettes <€4. Very little local transport , minibus only to Corfu town 3 times daily. boat trips reasonably expensive( return to Paleokastritsa €80-€100) Excellent splash pool for kids with water park features.

Dated hotel, with old furniture, the staff try to compensate but .... . They changed sheets every second day and cleaned the room daily. We had bad and breakfast but the food was terrible, repetitive! A quiet hotel, in a perfect and difficult to find location. It does not suite for young people. If you want a low price accommodation, that's what you'll get!

Stayed here 10 years ago would not give me year option in review page for exact date.Booked with Thomsons sky tours 14 nights half board family of four £900. Hotel 2 star beacuse there is no lift, but it is set on two floors. Main hotel with an annexe building. Hotel clean tidy welcoming. Reception was great and helpful. Set menu for dinner but if you did not like what they were offering you could book chicken and chips or pizza at reception on the morning as the menu went up on the notice board so that was great! Food excellent and tasty and served well by waiters. The pool area was clean with a rectangle pool with a slide. Pool bar also. sun beds around pool and pool area is at front of the hotel overlooking the gorgeous beach, reached by a few steps. There was a taverna also belonging to the hotel next to the hotel which was really good. Serving snacks and meals which were tasty. Water sports from the beach were good. Only a small resort but offered all you needed including a supermarket. Few tavernas and bars and restaurants too. Resort hidden away so peaceful feel to it. Not a lot of entertainment on but had karaoke for the kids a couple of nights a week and quizzes. Bar just around the corner from hotel was great on a night it really came to life. All in all a great holiday experience for the money we paid. Such a shame thomsons do not use this hotel anymore. You can book privately though I think.

We arrived to be greeted by a member of staff. Please remember you have to pay room tax. This was 12 euros.
We were shown to our room. Superior double with a sea view.
That was exactly what we got. Room was big and spacious. Modern designed.
Small kitchenette. No cooker or microwave. And very basic utensils.
Watch the kettles are very cheap and just keep boiling you have to switch them off yourself.
The gardens are very pretty and well kept.
The pool area has wooden sun beds. The only thing with the pool. 1 lot of steps that you get down into the deep end of the pool .
The other steps are built into the pool. And there's nothing to hold on to. A rail in the middle of these steps would be useful.
The only bar is the pool bar.
Food was excellent .drinks were good beers and wines. A Little more expensive than in the local taverns.
The hotel provide a bus service to the beach. It is hilly and quite a away. The beach is by a campsite. Which looks like it should belong in Jamaica. Facilities for the public. Are minimum. Toilets. Changing facilities.
Sunbed with a coffee and a water were charged at 4 euros each.
I think the biggest thing to mention is the walk to the main strip.
It is extremely hilly. And winding. If you have walking difficulties or small children . This may affect your holiday. No bus service is available.
The hotel is not for disabled people at all.
The hotel had a big problem with ants around the pool and balconies.
Please take mosquito repelant as we were bitten so much.
The strip has a variety of bars. Supermarkets. Food restaurants.
Casablanca is very good for food. Drinks and service.
The hotel is nice. The view beautiful. The weather was great.

We stayed 12 days at this hotel.
Positive:
*Good position for excursions: Sidari, Corfu, Paleokastritsa, Liapades, Pelekas, Canal d'amour, Afionas, Cape Drastis...
*nice beach in front of the hotel
*nice swimming pool with sunbeds and pool bar
*kind and helpful staff, cleaned rooms
*interesting price if you need just a shelter to sleep and you want to discover the island travelling during the day

Negative:
*no nightlife
*poor all inclusive: there is no big choice of the menu always the same without dessert.
*the hotel is full of rude Slovak and Czech people
*hairdryer missing from the room
*after 21:00 no more al inclusive, of you want to drink you have to pay extra fee...
*no lunchbox given (just for those who participate in the excursions organised by the hotel)

We stayed Sept 2014. There were five of us all different ages from fifty to eighty we had sea facing views in the main building, yes the furniture was older but the rooms were light, clean and airy. We found the beds a bit hard but that didn't spoil our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the pool lovely and wonderful views. We had hired cars as we knew by looking on line that there were poor transport links. As for the damaged boardwalk that was further along the beach and looked dodgy so we avoided it and walked on the beach. The only downside was the noisy banging of doors and loud conversations of other guests who weren't British, who were really rude and never smiled but that isn't the hotels fault. The breakfast was OK. We found it a quiet peaceful setting and had a very relaxing time, lots of lovely tavernas and helpful staff and lovely swimming pool perhaps more suited to older travellers than families.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel... I was absolutelly pleased with the services of the hotel staff. This hotel I can recommend to anyone who wishes quiet vacations full of relax. The sandbeach is located near the hotel, the sea was clean (although it was the end of the season). I hope to come back here again.

Beautiful value for money hotel with a view and beach position to die for. Wonderful friendly, family run establishment geared up for a mainly sun, sea and sand, beach holiday. Clean and comfortable. Food basic, but plenty of other great places to eat locally. Lovely pool, pool bar and linked taverna. We were a group of friends, but also ideal for family groups with young children. Quiet, uncommercialised, country location means not a lot of brash evening entertainment and you will need your mosquito repellant and maybe a plug-it in your room.
There are local restrictions on loud music outside after midnight. However, the hotel did have a terrific greek night on Fridays with traditional live music and some of the other local bars and hotels also offered free greek nights and other evening entertainment on other nights of the week, including a small nightclub bar a little way on the road up to Pagi. There are other hotels, bars and restaurants right along to each end of the resort and you can use their swimming pools and sunbeds if you buy a drink at their pool bar. There are also lovely mountain walks to villages at each ends of the bay or into the olive groves. If you want shopping there is a return bus daily to Corfu town or you can hire a taxi to Sidari. Bike and Car hire, quad bike etc just around each corner and beach water sports right opposite. You can also book tours at a little booking office along beach. So, to sum it up, this is paradise if you enjoy swimming, walking, wildlife, nature, greek dancing, greek food and ouzo.

"If possible get a room overlooking the ocean in the main part of the hotel. There are 2 outer buildings that look over a grass square, not bad but a bit of a walk to the dining room if raining. All have balconies but sipping a vino looking at the sea can't be beaten."
