We arrived to be greeted by a member of staff. Please remember you have to pay room tax. This was 12 euros. We were shown to our room. Superior double with a sea view. That was exactly what we got. Room was big and spacious. Modern designed. Small kitchenette. No cooker or microwave. And very basic utensils. Watch the kettles are very cheap and just keep boiling you have to switch them off yourself. The gardens are very pretty and well kept. The pool area has wooden sun beds. The only thing with the pool. 1 lot of steps that you get down into the deep end of the pool . The other steps are built into the pool. And there's nothing to hold on to. A rail in the middle of these steps would be useful. The only bar is the pool bar. Food was excellent .drinks were good beers and wines. A Little more expensive than in the local taverns. The hotel provide a bus service to the beach. It is hilly and quite a away. The beach is by a campsite. Which looks like it should belong in Jamaica. Facilities for the public. Are minimum. Toilets. Changing facilities. Sunbed with a coffee and a water were charged at 4 euros each. I think the biggest thing to mention is the walk to the main strip. It is extremely hilly. And winding. If you have walking difficulties or small children . This may affect your holiday. No bus service is available. The hotel is not for disabled people at all. The hotel had a big problem with ants around the pool and balconies. Please take mosquito repelant as we were bitten so much. The strip has a variety of bars. Supermarkets. Food restaurants. Casablanca is very good for food. Drinks and service. The hotel is nice. The view beautiful. The weather was great.

We have spent our week holiday in Alkyon hotel with our 7 years old son. Even if I was a bit worried because of not very good reviews, I was positively surprised. The hotel is situated just few meters from a nice, clean beach with crystal clear water. On the beach, there is company offering motor boat, paddle boat, paddle board rental or a motor boat taxi. We ordered half pension, I really enjoyed dinners, the variety of food was good, I loved Greek cuisine they cook there, all meals were very tasty, I appreciated fresh vegetable availability. Breakfasts were not much rich, but still, it was enough food there. Only thing I missed was fresh fruit. Stuff was friendly, rooms cleaned every day. There is nothing I could complain about. Alkyon is a perfect ** hotel! Agios Georgios Pagon is a quiet resort and excellent starting point for the island exporation (local bus to Sidari, to Kerkyra town, possibilities of hiking). There are three car rentals in Ag. Georgios. Be aware that sea on west coast is not too warm, we have asked local people - it is warmer in July than in August.

Apparently a good option, but not excellent. We stayed here for 12 days with all inclusive. The room was basic but clean, my only slight criticism was that the bathroom is too small to turn around in and you dont wanna stay here more time that is needed. The staff are friendly and I guess attended to every need (but we are not demanding :) ) All inclusive means that between two main food you can order pizza, toast or sandwich, ice cream, biscuits and some of alko and non alko drinks. Although the restaurant has more of a canteen feel, everything tasted good, but dont expect typical greek cusine. Food is adapted to the needs of tourists from Czechia and Slovakia. In front of the hotel is nice swimming pool with bar and at the back is grass place for sports activities. But what is fabulous is surroundings. A fantastic place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Corfu. Beach is across the street but 50 metres from hotel. We enjoyed beauty of The Timony beach (many times:)) that is about 40 to 50 minutes walk. We recommend to rent a car and visit more popular areas as a Sidari or Palekastritsa. Overall - it's basic but good value for money. We would recommend it.

Well, this hotel was one of our biggest mistakes we ever made. Honestly. For whom is the hotel for? Well, if you are a senior from the Czech Republic and Czech language is the only language you speak, this is the best choice for you (you are also not going to read this review). If you are not, do not choose this hotel. I mean it. The hotel rooms are small, our room furniture was really old, my mattress was older than my parents and it was really difficult to sleep as there was a huge depression under my neck. Our room was right above the hotel’s kitchen, which was connected with the smell of garlic and clove in our room. Another problem was a periodical humming. I don’t know what was the source of the noise, perhaps some huge machine on the hotel’s roof or something in the kitchen, but it was difficult to fall asleep when the machine was on. The whole room was periodically resonating with deep humming. The bathroom is tiny and if you take a shower, the whole bathroom will change to a small pool. The bathroom drain was incredibly dirty and disgusting. Breakfasts were poor and midday meals and evening dinners... well, I would say it was a disaster. Clearly, the main idea of the hotel’s kitchen was to save money everywhere. The breakfast’s cheese was mainly the one made of vegetable fat, it was not cheese actually. Very cheap option. All soups were instant. The only fish they prepared was Pangasius (!!!). I mean... Pangasius? In Greece? And every day? You get it? What the hell? The rest of the food was mediocre. Again, the priority of the hotel’s kitchen was to save money as much as possible. You cannot prepare a good meal when you try to save money as they did. The pool bar staff was kind and friendly, also the receptionists. The bar keeper from the hotel’s bar was unfriendly and cocksy sometimes. It was not pleasant to deal with him. As mentioned above, the hotel is primarily for Czech seniors. Approximately 95% of hotel customers were Czech seniors, we felt like in a retirement home.
