Last but not least, Ibiza Gran Hotel is home for the Casino of Ibiza, the only Casino on the island, a must visit if you feel lucky; lucky enough to stay at Ibiza Gran Hotel during your summer days in the magical Ibiza.
I had a nice time in this hotel, its really beautiful. The club they have in the back was really nice, i enjoyed the bar on the top. I also enjoyed the casino, staff were very friendly and nice in there. Its quite an expensive hotel but its a good time.
Its coming up to 10 years since I first had the pleasure of visiting this hotel. Fortunately I have been been back several times since and stayed for 10 days last summer in two stays. Never has the saying class is permanent rung so so true. If anything the service and food around the pool just gets better and better, The quality of the rooms, the hotel and the legendary breakfast though has never faltered from being world class. I absolutely love this place as much as I love Ibiza . Thank you Ibiza Gran and everybody involved with it.
Great place & great service. Central location near Ibiza town. Good breakfast & friendly staff. The rooms are big and comfortable. We had a nice balcony en Diptyque amenities. We intens to go to Beach clubs but it was so nice near the pool that we stayed all dat. Lunch was delicious. We will come back!
This is our third visit to this wonderful hotel and I think each time we come, it gets better and better. We travel a lot and breakfast is the best we’ve ever had. The staff are friendly without being fake and the service is outstanding. The rooms are quiet - no door banging from the corridor or furniture moving from the rooms above. The air con works well and the beds are so comfortable. Special mention to Ceasar at the top pool, (he deserves to come first place in the staff ‘raffle’ - if any managers are reading this ;-) All the staff are a credit to the hotel and truly make it an unforgettable stay. See you next year!
Let me start with the positives: 1. Staff is fantastic 2. Breakfast is great 3. Location is convenient Now the negatives… 1. The hotel is directly next to a wash that stinks like sewage. You can’t escape the smell. It’s awful. 2. There is no vibe there. Way too stuffy and weird clientele. There was a bunch of fat, old, Russian oligarch types with their 20-ish year model looking “girlfriends.” It was kind of creepy actually. But definitely not the vibe you’re looking for at Ibiza. Also, no music at all outside in pool area and the pool closes at 8pm, and then the hotel is basically a ghost town afterward. 3. The property is showing its age. Rooms make creaks and it just looks and feels dated and old. Definitely the rooms need a remodel. I wouldn’t stay there again… Not my cup of Stolichnaya!…
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and clean. Real luxury. David who works on reception is an absolute hero and went above and beyond his duties. He really made my holiday in Ibiza so thank you David 👍🏻
It took a day or so to get used to the hotel but, once we did, we really enjoyed it and found it very comfortable. We had a junior suite with a pool view but we also got a great view of the 'old town'. Highlights : - A comfortable room with good sized balcony and great views - An astonishing breakfast, as many have said. The food and service were exceptional - Really good location, 20 minute walk to the 'old town', 5 minutes walk to the marina - 2 good pools with fantastic service, particularly at the adult pool - Good lobby/reception space with helpful and knowledgeable guest services staff....their recommendations were all spot on. - Some impressive art and sculpture So, why give it 4 stars rather than 5 ? - It's a tiny bit dated....just a bit and feel unfair saying it - The open plan nature of the bathroom, with bath next to bed, was once quirky and original, now just a bit impractical and a trip hazard in the night 😀 - Lack of basic hotel information....I know we should use the hotel app but sometimes an old bit of analogue info does the trick - A bit of mystery about evening eating options only encourages guests to take advantage of fantastic restaurants in the town (just don't miss the breakfast). That all sounds a bit picky and shouldn't overshadow what was a great 5 day stay....both this hotel and Ibiza 'old town' we would highly recommend. P.s. we left some items behind by mistake....the hotel has been very helpful in locating them and allowing us to retrieve.…
Never stayed here before but can safely say I will be returning. Great hotel, really great staff, friendly and attentive, asked how we were every day, Alex on the front desk was very very good thank you Alex. Amazing location, nice and quiet very chilled perfect for couples, older people and children as there is an adults pool and children’s pool. As for the breakfast wow, so so good, really really good, even has a chocolate fountain and champagne. Minutes walk from the stunning marina and ibiza old town, we parked our car there also, was very safe, this was an extra charge but we were ok with that. Very quite in the morning with then a very chilled ibiza music set in the background by the pool, perfect for couples, kids and elderly. Nice to be away from the boom boom music or hotels where you cannot switch off. One last thing make sure your room isn’t near Pacha night club as that closes at 7am, there are only a few that back into that so just a heads up.…
Over the last 10 years, we have been fortunate enough to stay at most of Ibiza’s luxury hotels. The service, the relaxed atmosphere, incredible food, super sized rooms, and impeccable efficiency provided by the Ibiza Gran, is second to none. Situated opposite the towns best Marina and overlooking the Old Town, there really isn’t a better spot on the Island, to soak up the essence of Ibiza. Although the Gran from the outside isn’t as pretty as say Nobu or Atzaro, the service provided by experienced, retained staff, is the best of any hotel on the island. Ignore all of the unjustified, laughable, poor reviews, this hotel should be the choice of any discerning traveller, visiting Ibiza.
From the moment you arrive, you are transported to an oasis. The hotel is full with fine guests and attentive staff that are willing to do anything to help. Cipriani and Zuma in-house! Rooms are large
