02/05/22. Dinner 2 persons. Belvedere Restaurant, Royal Plaza Hotel, Ibiza. Even if you are not a resident, you can be sure of exquisite cuisine in this comfortable room without the over-priced, over designed ostentatiousness of other, perhaps more well-known establishments on the island! This is, or should be, a well-guarded secret!… however tonight’s dinner was a revelation… I had a starter of Caprese salad that would do justice to any Italian place… my companion opted for a ‘main’ course of gambas in garlic with egg - a combination I’ve never encountered before! - I will return to savour this dish another day… My main: fish: Dorada fillet. This was cooked to absolute perfection and compliments were duly sent to the kitchen! No room for dessert … but coffees and brandy for me and more cava (gorgeous) which we had started with, for my hostess… The whole evening was a delight and because of a sudden downpour, more residents decided to eat here.. and like us we’re not disappointed… and the prices… well, has to be the best deal in town, considering the quality of the food! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ E.H.

We had a comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the children's play area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A short walk across the car park in front of the hotel took us to the port area, while a short walk to the right of the hotel took us to a long shopping street. By either route the old town was within easy reach.

My wife and I escaped two days to Ibiza from our stay in Barcelona and we chose Hotel Royal Plaza. Upon arrival early in the morning, the very first thing we noticed is how the cleaning staff was meticulously cleaning every each of the entry way and lobby area. We were literally shocked how well they were cleaning. Unfortunately we were not able to check in that early in the morning, but the staff was exceptionally nice and found an area where we could relax and get some work done. We were able to check in approximately 2 hours after we arrived. The room that was assigned to us felt like an apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The front desk staff gave me some excellent tips on restaurants and beaches in Ibiza. The location was PERFECT! The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from Ibiza Town. We highly recommend stay on this side of town versus the beach, but that's our personal choice. The beach hotels are overpriced, food is super expensive and really nothing to do other than the beach and clubs. Ibiza Town is a nice, quaint area with shops, great food and amazing sites. The front desk staff blew our socks off. We returned from a snorkeling. and boating trip to the different islands in Ibiza and Formentera and to our surprise we had a bottle of Spanish cava (champagne) and some gummy candy waiting in our room. Upon check in the staff notice that day was my wife's birthday and they set up that surprise for her!

Very close to the centre but in a creepy street, not charming at all, view on a parking lot. Room was clean but old, especially bathroom. Pool is very small, not enough sunbeds. Quite unfriendly staff, not at all ready to help. For the price, you could expect a better service

Nice and “old school” hotel in the new part of Ibiza town. Relatively large room with practical balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not ideal location in front of a parking lot and next to slightly un-charming bars with noisy guests. However close to old town and highway to beachclubs.

I booked a room in this hotel for my client Daniela R Shayeb via booking.com. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we were asked to cancel the reservation with NO COST with the promise of a refund. None of the emails sent to the hotel have been responded nor has the refund been taken care of. Truly disappointed and therefore not able to recommend this hotel, unfortunately.

I have stayed here before and for the price I thought the location was ok and this was ok for a one day transit stop but I will never book here again. In this time of Covid 19 cancelations I have been pleasantly surprised about how easy and accomodating most companies are but not the Royal Plaza Hotel. They will not be open during my stay and they will not refund my charge to my credit card they will only give me a voucher/coupon for the value that is only good for 12 months. I have no use for this and can't use it. I paid you up front for goods and services and you are closed and canceled the reservation on me. I did not cancel the reservation. Therefore I want my money back. They will not refund me. This is terrible practice and no one should ever risk booking at this hotel in case something out of your control happens. They will not reimburse you properly. Go to some other hotel that is reputable. This hotel has horrible business practices.

The hotel is remolated and the rooms are well equipated. You can rest perfectly. he location is quite good because the port is near the hotel (a few minutes walking). About the breakfast, it's really good with several kinds of food. Perfect if you travel for business.

We had to wait until 130 for a room to be ready....lounged on the rooftop pool area The room was old and had old time charm. The bathroom was separated by a small foyer. Updated and clean bathroom, with a huge bathtub ( yay, for tall girls). Nice view from 5 th floor, big balcony. Only thing lacking is coffee pot. I think that’s a European thing though. Can’t remember ever having one. Special shout out to Basilio and Leticia who were extremely helpful and kind. The elevator was broke for a while, but we used the service elevator. Did not eat on premise, prefer local eateries. Had room service send up a few coffees..... Would definitely go back....
