The Hotel Tropical Park offers all its guests rooms equipped with Smart TV from 43´´ and free Wi-Fi. The most attractive of Hotel Tropical Park is its recent refurbishment in 2017 that guarantees your comfort and well-being, its swimming pools (one of them heated all year round), its outdoor jacuzzi, its spacious Junior Suites with fully equipped lounge and kitchen (oven, vitroceramic hob, fridge, freezer . . . ) and its gastronomy with themed nights in our Buffet Restaurant in a totally family atmosphere. For the most active we have a squash court, tennis court with artificial turf and a diving center as well as a variety of water and land activities offered by Tenerife. For those who come looking for calm and relax, we have plenty of massages, beauty treatments and a hairdresser. The hotel is located 15 minute’s drive from Playa de las Americas, in a very quiet vacation area, in the center of the town where you can enjoy restaurants in the area. At 150 m distance there is a black sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas where you can enjoy fantastic sunsets overlooking La Gomera.

Hotel Tropical Park garners appreciation for its clean, spacious rooms and tranquil atmosphere, with guests often highlighting the pristine pools and gardens. The on-site supermarket and multiple pools are a hit among guests, though some have called out the underwhelming Wi-Fi and limited entertainment. While opinions on value are divided, the staff receives accolades for their professionalism and efficiency. However, the hotel's remote location is noted for its lack of nearby activities, which may not suit families or those with mobility challenges.

We had a fabulous stay at Tropical Park. It’s a quiet hotel with lovely staff, in a sleepy beach town away from Costa Adeje’s main bustle.

The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean with a small well-equipped kitchenette and decent sized balcony. Housekeeping were absolutely amazing but you don’t get anything to clean up the room with (no dustpan and brush or cleaning spray) which is a bit tricky with small children! There’s a supermarket onsite (and it’s cheaper for most things than the one that’s five minutes walk away).

There are two big pools - one has lots of games and the other is quieter and more serene. There’s also French boules and tennis, squash and a gym. Although theres no kids club, there is a good program of activities for children - lots of colouring in, dancing, bingo, even a big inflatable slide in the pool one day. And there’s a little playroom for babies with lovely clean toys - we took our boys there for an hour most days!

The food was really tasty, much more interesting and creative than other all-inclusive food options I’ve had in previous hotels. However, my twins have a serious milk allergy and although there was allergen information next to dishes, it wasn’t accurate (ie. an omelette with egg listed as the only allergen turned out to be made with cheese and butter). I checked every dish and the staff were very attentive when I asked them to check with chefs what contained milk. There was also an amazing team member some mornings who would go and get the chef to make them milk-free omelettes! But it’s still a big worry that allergens weren’t correctly noted. That’s really my only note for improvement - other than that we had an amazing time.

On arrival at the hotel we was after the restaurant had closed so was giving a packed lunch bag which wasn't the best but better then nothing. the reception staff was pleasant and advised us on where our room was and how to get there.

The apartment was very clean and modern and was cleaned each day. The air con been in bedroom was annoying at times especially with our son asleep in there asleep and if we went on terrace it turned it off.

Drinks where average quality. beer was dorada on tap and cocktails came out of the machine, the spirts you could choose some brands included in all inclusive and others you had to pay for. Coffee and tea was available from a machine in the restaurant.

Food did get very repetitive so we ate out a couple of evenings but we know the village well so wanted to go to some of our favorite restaurants. Breakfast was the best meal and if i stayed again i would just do bed and breakfast. Food could be cool at times when restaurant was quiet.

Pool area was very nice and the top pool was very quiet and we didn't have to worry about sunbeds as always available.

The village is a lot quieter then other areas in Tenerife but we been coming for years so know the area well before hand.

On check out they cut our all inclusive wrist bands off but gave us a ticket to use until 3pm and also we used the gym showers before our late transfer to the airport.

Overall we had a pleasant stay and i would stay again. they hotel could be some much better with more entrainment in the evenings and the opening of the restaurant/bar above the pool.

We had booked a 1-bedroom apartment- we got a free upgrade to a 2-bedroom superior apartment in the 5th floor. OG. Our wish for an apartment on one of the upper floors was thus more than met. Extremely friendly welcome - Emily- a young German-speaking employee directly cleared an earlier check in for us and was always a competent and helpful contact throughout our holiday.
The fact that the apartment can only be reached by stairs was no problem for us - but here again at check in is asked again or pointed out that there is no elevator in this area
The whole facility made a very well maintained impression . The facilities of our apartment left nothing to be desired. Large fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher , washing machine, filter coffee machine with permanent filter and dishes, glasses and cutlery sufficient for up to six people. The large balcony, overlooking the pool areas to the sea, offered a large table with 6 chairs as well as 6 sun loungers and a clothes rack. The two smaller balconies were not furnished and went to the street side - with one offering a wonderful view of the Teide.
In the complex, service is still very important - except Sundays, beds are made daily, garbage is emptied and wiped through. On request, a change of towel or bed linen can be made at any time.
The pool area offers two large pools, a jacuzzi and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool towels can also be exchanged for fresh ones at any time at no extra cost.
The pool bar offers a nice selection of drinks at absolutely moderate prices - the buffet restaurant can be visited at any time without reservation. €25,- incl. Drinks per person (all you can eat and drink,)with a diverse and tasty selection we used gladly in the evening.
We spent a wonderful relaxing holiday week here and can recommend Tropical Park without restriction.

Tempted by good opinions about this hotel, my friend and I chose it for our vacation. Unfortunately, I have no idea why there are so many positive feelings among guests of the Tropical Park. Located in a quiet town, preferred by older people looking for peace and quiet. Without a doubt, I must say that the pool area was wonderful - I have included a photo taken from the room as confirmation. Enough sunbeds, plenty of space, not so many people. Very spacious room with a large balcony. And that's where the advantages end. There were quite steep and narrow stairs leading to our room on the 4th floor (I'm adding a few photos). There was no hotel staff to help us carry our large suitcases upstairs. There's no way there's an elevator, I can't imagine how an older person would cope in such a situation. The room smelled terribly of sewage, probably from the bathroom, but the stench covered the entire apartment. Unfortunately, airing and turning on the air conditioning turned out to be in vain. We used the cleaning service twice, but apart from replacing towels, nothing else was done. When it comes to food, the selection was rather poor. Milk bar atmosphere, usually the same thing was served every day. It happened several times that we ate outside the hotel due to the poor selection. The hit, however, is the all-inclusive option, in which drinks are served until 9:45 p.m., after which there is a quiet night. No evening animations. It was necessary to leave the tables and the bar area when 10 p.m. and night curfew arrived. There was beer, wine and soft drinks at the bar, but the drinks included in the price were not suitable for drinking. They were poured from a special machine, terribly sweet and not worth the effort. The service was neither nice nor rude - usually not speaking English. Another problem was the non-working wifi, here I am also posting a photo to confirm these words. It works ok at the reception, but practically not at all near the pool and in the room. The description of the offer includes a jacuzzi, but I don't think it will surprise anyone that it didn't work. The bitter end came at the moment of check-out when, before 12 o'clock, the staff entered our room (most likely to check if they could start cleaning) and when they saw that our things were still there, they left but left the door open behind them! So everyone could enter and take with them readers, watches and phones that we were charging before departure. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone, and I certainly won't come back. There are many other better alternatives, even next door, that you can choose. Don't be tempted by the attractive price because I don't think it's worth it.

Hotel is OK but the food is shocking, nothing clearly marked or no labels at all. I mainly ate the salads for this reason but even then they had some fish salad that I accidentally ate and felt sick for rest of day. I know they can't help it but the amount of flies in the area is unreal and as stated before all over the food! The bar staff could be a lot friendlier and not look so angry all of the time.

Location of the area I wouldn't say isn't well suited for families and more aimed for those really wanting a nice relaxed holiday. Down the road from the hotel tucked away on a small terrace is the best Chinese you will ever have! Its just under the only 3 English bars in the area that plays some music. It's easy enough to get to from Costa adeje and cost the 4 of us 20 euros there and back and a taxi is around 28 for a single trip.

Room is OK but we pushed the sofa beds together to try and make some room and then it was a jigsaw puzzle to try and find room for a side table and a soft cushioned chair. WiFi isn't the best and we we were on a ground floor room so kept cutting out all of the time. Air con is only in the bedroom but luckily my kids didn't seem to mind.

No rush for sunbeds was still plenty left even at lunch time not sure on the top pool as we were mainly in the bottom.

When checking out if you have a late flight be prepared to check out at 12 and your all inclusive stopped with still hours to leave hotel!

One mega positive for the hotel is Diego, my son loved him! But he was literally the only member of animaton team.

A tip hiperdino down the road is a lot cheaper than the supermarket connected to hotel.

I wouldn't go back to this hotel or area as it didn't suit my family.

Just returned from a fabulous 10 night stay in this lovely hotel, we stayed half board and the hotel has everything you need especially for children, it was perfect for our 3yr old daughter who loved every minute especially the pool and kids club!

The food was excellent all freshly cooked with lots of choice! I would recommend eating before 7pm as it can get busy and there won’t be much left!

All the rooms have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need including a large fridge freezer.

Rooms are exceptionally clean with very comfy beds and lots of wardrobe space. Rooms are cleaned everyday.
We stayed on the 2nd floor in the 14th block which had great views of the pool and the sea and was very quiet.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for families and we are booking for next January 2026…

Have to say after reading mixed reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect; but … the Tropical Park did not disappoint! We had the most amazing stay. Everything was perfect; the decor in the room was beautiful. Kitchen is so well equipped you can cook a Sunday Roast in it; but no dishwasher so as long as you don’t mind the dishes lol. Thankfully we were All Inclusive and didn’t have to cook at all as the Buffett meals always had something even for the fussiest of eaters (like my husband). People who complained about having drinks in a plastic cup, but realistically the amount of drinks we had through each day and night; it makes sense not to give glassware.
Food was always hot and if it is running low they take it away to replenish. We never went down too late for our meals so I don’t know if it does get a bit cooler after a while?
Rooms are beautifully thought out and have everything you need. If you do find you need something that isn’t there the staff on reception are always so pleasant and helpful.
I did see a review someone complaining about the lifeguard telling their children they weren’t allowed their toys in the pool. The whole time we were there we seen plenty of kids with all kinds of toys in both the bottom pools and the top one; so I would assume the toys weren’t the issue there if other guests were maybe getting soaked or bumped or something (just a guess).
Both lifeguards were lovely and always tidying round the pool area and fixing seats etc. There is also a walkway around the whole pool area to walk on when you have wet feet; so if you slip, I’m assuming you are walking on the tiles and not the path provided.
Never a lack of free beds around the pool and the bar is always open.
Night time it’s nice and quiet and chilled; but just up the road from a long row of bars, restaurants and lovely little shops. 2 supermarkets (1 attached to the hotel, though we prefer the híper dino; it’s cheaper and has a much better selection.
Buses will take you into the busier resorts; but for a quiet, relaxing holiday; this is the place. You don’t need to go anywhere else unless you’re wanting to party big time.
We had the perfect holiday and we are booking to come back next year as soon as we get home and get paid!
Also a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains, the sea (to the side) and the pools. Can’t fault anything at all. Perfect; thank you.

Just back from a two week stay at tropical park Hotel ,these are my honest views 10/10 for accommodation,10/10 for cleaning, they came in every day,10/10 sunbeds always some available.6/10 on food not hot microwave needed if like your food hot, please note you will need a two pin adapter all points are two pin, 5/10 jacuzzi not powerful and several day not working. If you are half board you will not get tea and coffee in the evening only water. 0/10 for entertainment there isn't any very disappointing, except parott show on Thursdays for the children.very little to do outside the hotel unless you get the 471 bus to Costa Adeje every 40 mins.
I hired a car 30 euros a day from magma excursions shop down the road from hotel plus boat trip both very good.
I would not go back to tropical park but did enjoy the holiday.

Disgusting food. Over cooked, cold and tasteless. Unless you eat when the cafe opens, the food available is dried up and if the bare minimum. Arrived just before 8.00pm, no soup left. Most of the food containers empty and virtually cold. My dogs eat better than this. The meats provided are cheap cuts, chicken wings, ribs and fish with bones in. The breakfast is slightly better but not much. No children’s menu either!! Told off by waiter as I helped myself to a coffee at night. He said I could only have this at breakfast. Noticed other people with the same band as us having coffee but nothing was said to them. My daughter was told off for giving her children a small ball in the pool, yet the day before, everybody was playing ball in the pool. There are 2 pools after all. Why not make one adult only if it is a problem playing with a small ball? On the plus side, the pools and rooms are clean. The air conditioning is not very good, it is only in the bedroom. Therefore, the bedroom is freezing and the living room remains hot. All in all, not a great place. Will definitely not be returning.

Hotel dropped a star somewhere, very intended for foreign audiences, quiet, too much, but full of stairs, without elevator, that is, if you have to carry suitcases or baby strollers, or you simply come tired from the beach, you will think about going up. , it is divided into apartments but without an elevator, there are only a few that correspond to them, advice consult before your reservation, even to go down to the dining room and pool a thousand stairs, otherwise you have the option of taking the pool floor, going up to reception and then Go out into the street and climb the stairs...in the heat wave, great, wow, or if you have a knee problem, you don't even go down, restaurant theme a different concept to say the least and with totally foreign hours, don't expect to sit down and dine with a tablecloth and your cutlery and glasses, what's up, you take the plate, the cutlery, the paper napkins that are at the exit of the restaurant, you go out onto the terrace and sit as is at the table without a simple placemat , the first time I see it McDonald's roll, I don't even know for hygiene reasons it would be recommended, that every day, the variety of the buffet...... correct, salads, the seconds a lot of stews like beef and chicken in sauce, or many days taking advantage the leftovers from the previous day in the form of batter or fried, not even one day grilled fish, yes prawns almost every day in various forms haha whoever likes it is their hotel, little entertainment, all inclusive only until 10, Think about dinner until 9:3 when they close the door and that's it, they only have a show a couple of days but at 8 at night we Spaniards are almost leaving the pool, the normal area has a lot of restaurants, and the beach is nearby. You have to walk for a little while, thinking then you have to go up hills and stairs, you think about it, give a positive assessment to the waiters and waitresses, and the room is equipped in case you have to go apartment type. I am willing to pay what it is worth because it is not cheap at all for what they offer or their facilities. There is a huge variety of four-star hotels that do meet all the services and amenities in the area or in the part of Costa Adeje that is next to it. On the side for example or even in front there is a spectacular one, I'm sorry but I don't recommend it.

Hi Caroline, hope you have a lovely stay. From reviews before I believe it does however they allowed us to buy a couple of drinks before close, there's a supermarket on site if you want to get a drink for your terrace and other hotels nearby that had entertainment and welcomed non resident guests also bars down by the seafront. We were half board not all inclusive so can't advise if you can get anything if staying all in. Hope that helps?
