The hotel can, if you arrange the day before, supply a drop of service to a local town where there is better beach and a few shopping centres. There is also a good local bus service which takes you into Las America's and Los Christanos. The fares are pretty cheap and there's good are good shops there. Bus journeys usually take 20 mins and are quite frequent through the week just outside of the hotel gates. As for the hotel it's nice though if your not French you don't get much entertainment. The food is good and the majority off the staff are lovely.
The holiday is what you make of it there are also stores at the bottom of the hill that offer excursions depending what you like. It's a 20 minute walk on a steep hill. Hope this helps.

The hotel we stayed at did give us separate rooms for my teenage girls. They were next door which was convenient. Rooms are good size. Hairdryer supplied not too good. Take hangers not enough supplied but they will give you some if needed. Little tip, put a towel down in the bathroom because floor is marble and slippery when wet. My wife slipped and bruised her arm. Bedding and towels changed daily. Tv has bbc and itv as well. Thanks for the question and enjoy your holiday. If I can answer anymore questions for you then do not hesitate to ask.
