We loved our holiday at Apartamentos Callaomar. Our apartment, the common areas, and the pool were absolutely immaculate and really well maintained. The apartments are well-located in Callao Salvaje, within walking distance (max 10 minutes) to shops, bars, and restaurants. Victor was incredibly helpful. Our flight was late on the last day, so we had full use of the pool and then access to the changing/shower rooms downstairs off the ping pong room. There is a pool table, laundry facilities, and apartments have a safe you can hire for a nominal fee. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking light meals (full size fridge/freezer, two burner hob, microwave, cooking equipment, crockery, and cutlery). There's no oven in the kitchen and the apartment aren't air conditioned, but there was a large fan which was adequate. The wifi is good and accessible throughout the complex. Each apartment has its own wifi and there is separate wifi around the pool. The pool area is very quiet, there's always a sunbed available (no racing to put towels out at the crack of dawn) and it's the perfect place for couples. We hired a car and had a few days out, which can be more economical than paying for a transfer and taxis/buses to get around. There is a lovely coastal walk which takes you around the banana plantation to Playa Paraíso. We loved everything about the apartments and the location and we will be back!

You arrive hesitant given the very accessible location and you find yourself in a very classy urban context. In a very practical, clean and comfortable apartment of over 50m2. Of course you have to have a rented vehicle if you want to move around the island. Positively, it is the opposite of the murderous chaos of Playa Las Americas which I do not recommend to any civilized person.

Very clean spacious apartments with all the essentials you need and a nice size pool. The towels were changed during the week we were there and the apartment was cleaned on at least 3 separate days with rubbish removed each time and beds made. The owner was friendly, helpful but discrete.
We wanted a quiet self catering apartment, best suited for couples, a little bit away from the main tourist towns, a decent pool to swim in, with some restaurants and a decent supermarket nearby. That's exactly what we got at a very reasonable price.
Recommended, we would be happy to return again some time.

We were really impressed with the apartment it was exactly what we needed and great for a relaxing holiday! We arrived in the late evening and Victor was there to greet us and told us there was a shop that was still open down the road.. We took about a 10 min stroll down to the right and found a supermarket. As it was dark we didn't realise that just down the road from the supermarket was a whole row of shops, a bigger supermarket and some restaurants (which we discovered the next morning once the sun was out). There is also a beach down a bit of a steep hill near the shops. If you go left instead and walk a bit further (15ish minutes) there is a mall (with a much bigger supermarket) and if you keep walking down you will find some more shops and restaurants and other hotels etc (25ish mins walk/5 min taxi that cost about 5 euros) although we found the strip to the right of the apartments and a shorter walk were actually better in regards to variety and options of restaurants. We used taxi's to get to farther away places such as Siam Park (which is a must visit, 15 min taxi) which cost about 16 euros and the Adeje/ Fanabe market cost 18 euros. We really enjoyed our stay here and the kitchen has basic facilities for simple cooking which was sufficient for our week stay. The wifi didn't work at all for us but I could use my data on my phone so this wasnt too much of an issue for us. I was concerned about the lack of air conditioning but there were multiple fans that did the job of keeping us cool during the night! The pool is great and was very quiet, mostly empty or sometimes there were other couples in the afternoon but it was really nice to wake up and come straight out of the apartment to the pool or relaxing in the shade on the terrace! (if you request a lower floor room you will have the terrace with a gate that gives you direct access to the pool with the key fob) We had a late flight home and were allowed to stay by the pool during the day and use the shower room facilities before getting the taxi. Overall I would 100% recommend Apartmentos Callaomar for a nice, chilled and relaxing holiday away from the business of the main touristy parts of Tenerife, whilst still being close enough for short taxi rides to main locations! P.S If you have any mobility issues/health issues you may find the walking a bit of a struggle as there are a few steep hills to and from the shops etc and with the heat it can be hard :)

Great little apartment complex with a pool. I had a large apartment with an extra bedroom and a large terrace with a table, 2 chairs, 2 loungers and a parasol. Great service! Towels changed very often and rubbish was disposed of. WiFi in the living room, unfortunately didn't reach the bedroom. TV also has German channels. The location is very quiet but still close to restaurants and shops. I can recommend it!

This is our second visit, this time for a 4 week stay. It's as good as ever and I'd endorse everything good I said in my last review. Even in February the pool temperature is fine. It's an easy short walk to the sea and restaurant area , which have seen some good new additions since we were last here. The whole building is kept spotlessly clean and, if anything breaks it is immediately fixed. The owner Victor keeps a close eye on things and ensures continuous smooth operation. He is efficient, friendly and approachable. We will definitely be back.

Very peaceful place to stay. Self catering was easy. Microwave, toaster and hob. Apartment very clean and spacious. Pool warm and usually empty. Sun loungers never a problem.
But note:-
TUI coach could not go down narrow street so I was dropped off and pointed in right direction. There are several apartments in that road, Callamor Does not have signage outside so struggled to know which one it was. When I got there no one was about but I had read before that keys are left in an envelope for you, I didn’t realise the fob on the key ring was to get you into the pool.
My apartment, 9 was on the first floor. As an older guest I did struggle to get up the 18 stairs. Lovely and quiet. Could do with DO NOT DISTURB sign as I was in the bathroom and thought I heard a bell ring, then the door opened. I was decent but it could have been worse.
Wifi erratic so don’t rely on it. I had to link mine to another device.
Easy to get around. 471 takes you straight into playa de las America and was only 2€.50.
One thing, on departure I had to leave at 8.00 a.m, and when I went to exit the apartments for the first time the gate was locked. Luckily I had left my keys in the door so I could retrieve them, but I did think about leaving them in the room and I would have been trapped and missed transfer.
Very reasonably priced and relaxing.

A really nice experience. Clean structure and giant rooms. The pool is very nice and cared for and also the welcome was great. Only very small note, it would be nice to find in the apartment salt, oil and a bottle of water for arrival. Anyway, five well-deserved stars.

The apartment was great and very spacious. It had all the basics you’d need for a short stay (though it would be great to also have a washing machine). Every apartment has a nice balcony and you can go straight down to the pool from there. The only thing I found weird is that I never saw anyone working at the reception and when I arrived there was just an envelope with keys inside left at the reception with my name and apartment number written on it. I found it strange since anyone from the street can walk in there.

Stupendous apartment in costa adeje. Good location, 10 minutes from Playa de los Duques. Clean, quiet, spacious, with pool, terrace and everything you need in kitchen. You can't ask for more. It was hot because of the humidity typical of the area. Several fans in the rooms.
