The Atlantic Holiday Hotel boasts a relaxing atmosphere with serene terraces and tranquil dining that includes entertainment, which guests repeatedly commend. Many travelers appreciate the hotel's cleanliness, spacious rooms, and the attentive staff, although a handful have reported unprofessional behavior. While the hotel's location offers a peaceful getaway near the beach, it might not cater to those looking for vibrant nightlife. Opinions on value are mixed; some guests find the pricing reasonable, but others are critical, especially regarding the pool bar. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the amenities, including kitchen facilities in rooms, are generally well-received.

As the hotel built on the lava rock cliffs right next to the ocean, the views are spectacular. I loved the pool area because you had the feeling of being on a cruise ship. The hotel is oriented west so the sunsets are beautiful.

Our room was comfortable, clean and was facing the ocean/beach side of the hotel. Furthermore we had a room on a high floor and were able to get cool breezes coming into our room and we rested very well. As we were on a month-long stay, we appreciated having the coin operated washer and dryer as well as a fully equipped kitchen to cook our meals.

The gym is definitely a great point about the hotel too. For those traveling with children there is a playroom for kids, pingpong tables and a foosball. There is also a small children's swimming pool.

The hotel staff were excellent and always treated us with courtesy and in a friendly manner. If I come to Tenerife on holiday again, I will definitely stay at Atlantic Holiday.

First of all I wanted to start by saying how beautiful and scenic this hotel is and provided me and my partner with the most relaxing stay and unique experience.
I was worried beforehand about the food due to previous bad comments but the food was outstanding and delicious and absolutely amazing that you get to order fresh food every day for all inclusive! Lunch was a series of omelettes, pasta dishes, grilled sandwiches and salads cooked fresh and delicious following a lovely variety of dinner’s including: steak, tuna, bolognaise, carbonara, bruschetta, kebabs and an amazing Saturday night bbq.
The pool area was kept clean and tidy every day with the pool bar also offering different snacks everyday whatever you want do not worry about asking as they go above and beyond if there is no food for you.
We knew there was no air con but it did not matter at all considering the weather forecast as you can always ask for an additional fan.
The entertainment was relatively relaxed with only a few days of music, singing and dancing which was literally the only thing I could fault about the holiday.
The location was quiet with a few amazing bars and restaurants also on the beach, but this was the loveliest holiday we have ever been on!! Special shout out to Cezar and of course the entire staff for being so polite and accommodating making us feel so so welcome!! We will definitely be returning in a couple of years to see what more progress has been made BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING!!!

It was family holiday and for that hotel Atlantic is the best.
Great staff, we have room with ocean view, it was always plenty of space next to the swimming pool.
We never have to fight for the sun beds. Plenty of space next to the pool and huge roof tarace.
Big palm garden where almost everyday was yoga or pillates classes nad hammocks for everybody to relax also swings for kids and adults.
My family was looking for active holiday the hotel ofer greate swimming pool, tennis court, aquaaerobic and it's very close to the beach this are the key points of the hotel.
We have self catering and for this option Callao Salvaje has also many restaurants to offer. All are 3 min walk from the hotel. For different activities there is great connection with Los Gigantes or different costal towns by bus or taxi (not so expensive).
The Hotel has also evening show for all guests like flamenco but we have been in summer so I don't know if show are all year.
The hotel room has no air-conditioning but we have been in beginning of August and the breeze from the Ocean was efficient but in the room was also the electric fun.
Swimming pool is clean with salt water, showers are just beside the pool so it's no problem. Pool bar offers coffee drinks and some snacks and ice cream.
It's greate hotel and perfect for families. The Callao Salvaje is small town so probably it's not the best place for tanagers and party people.
It's greate place for relaxed holidays and good for getting to different attractions.

The only reason to come to Atlantic Holiday and Callao Salvaje are the views, the hotel is right on top of a rock overlooking the sea. Unfortunately the pool is a missed opportunity as there should have been an infinity pool, instead you barely see the sea as there are sunbeds in the way. Also, there is a road that ends in a circle right behind the hotel and rooms on that side get quite noisy.

The hotel itself is recently renovated and goes for a quirky beach ambience, good effort but still at the core it is a basic 1970s mass tourism hotel and you can feel it. Not our thing, everything is kind of .. average. Rooms, breakfast, beds, pool and garden aren't awful, but also nothing you will remember except for the long wait for food, queues can get very long if you are early or want to eat last minute. Need to figure out the perfect timing and stick to that.

Also Callao Salvaje is not a spectacular town, all new and bland, we tried many restaurants in the area - German, Italian and steakhouse - and all were not bad, and better than the hotel's restaurant but also nothing to write home about. But just like the hotel it is probably good for families with small children as it is small and convenient.

We booked our trip with Apollo and that turned out to be a big misstake.
We had booked a two room apt with a not specified views that we paid extra for. That was a big mistake! The marketing and room descriptions of this property is very vague and misleading.

And instead of the relaxing vacation with breathtaking views and the sounds of waves at night, we ended up in a tired room without air-condition. The balcony is overlooking a carpark and across the road there is lots of noisy bars and restaurants so its not possible to have any windows open. At 2 am there was a garbage truck right outside, and on top of that I woke up with a rash from being bitten by some kind of bugs at night. The walls in the room are paper thin and when people walk by in the hallways outside it sounds like they are right next to your bed.

I have asked Apollo to change our room but they said the hotel is fully booked and they can't do anything about it. And because we did not booked apollos all inclusive deals its not possible to get lunch at the hotel. Dinner reservations can only be made after 8 pm and if you want to have a towel by the pool they will charge an additional 150 euros for it. And if it wasn't because my sons friends are staying at the same hotel right now we would have checked out immediately.

Since we arrived on Sunday I have been in contact with Apollo on numerous occasions and they say that there is nothing they can do about this and this is what I bought into. Needless to say I am NOT a happy customer! And I will never ever buy or recommend any of Apollos products.

Dear Client Apollo has explained that the kind of apartment you bought is the one you have and that they are very happy to change you though paying a small fee. We do not believe the fault is on the hotel side and hope you will eliminate this critic since its actually not our fault. Thanks in advance.

Me and my girlfriend went on this holiday at the beginning of June and we could not have been happier with the hotel and room we got. We chose a studio sea view room which was great it had everything we could have needed and it had an unreal view of the black sand beach and the water. The staff were lovely at the front desk and always made us feel comfortable and at home. There was a very nice restaurant called nebula just 5 minutes from the hotel, with their being several more nice bars and restaurants just a 20 minute walk away or a 10 minute taxi. We honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

We came here from 25th July to the 1st Aug. Our room had a Sea View and was very well look after. Unfortjnately therenis no Airconditioning but standing Fan is that gets clean on a regular basis and enjoyable sea breeze. The rooms are big clean and functional even though it's slightly age. The hotel staff and service is very good. All the staff are very accomodating.
The hotel is not too large and has a relax feel about it not really for families with small children. The swimming pool is a good size and there are enough sunbeds. The breakfast and lunch meal are very repetative with little choices. The evening meal is varied but only with 2 or 3 choices daily. You need to be slightly more adventurous but the quality and presentation is very good. The location is a little bit out of town to get anywhereyou either have long wait for the bus (40mins) expensive taxies it would be better to hire a car to explire the island.
The beach close by is rocky and pebnle swimming shoes would be advisable. There are a few supermarkets and restaurants close at hand but not much else.
All in all it was a very good relaxing and peaceful stay. Thank you

The hotel is clean, and the reception staff very friendly,
However if you rely on a mobilty device then its not the hotel for you. The lifts are too small to take a mobilty scooter, and there are no ramps throughout the hotel. The hotel is not mobility friendly.
A big shock was being told that we have to pay for our pool towels, this is something that has never been asked of us on any holiday that weve ever been on before.
The food. Breakfast is the best meal of the day, we overindulge as its the only food we get before the evening meal, however you can get snacks at the lower floor bar that are left over food from breakfast, fryed egg and ham toasted sandwiches, and a couple of biscuits, all of which are open to the elements without any covers over them. the evening meals are served to your table that is if you can get a table that hasn't been reserved for the none all inclusive guests. You get two choices of dinner both in my opinion very poor quality, i found the food very badly overcooked and very very salty, there is a small display of cakes for pudding. All in all i found the whole holiday very disappointing, manly the food. Thank goodness the weatherman who was good to us. for most of out 14 nights stay. Would i come back again. Not a chance although the hotels rooms and the hotel in general are very clean, i would only give it a reluctant two stars manly because of the poor food

Wow what an amazing location even though forecast looked a bit dodgy our 7 day stay didn’t disappoint hit sunshine every day!! With the best views we’ve had so far! Our room was a studio it was large and spacious only downfall was No Air Con the fan helped in October but it wouldn’t have In the summer months.

Food.. Breakfast Great!
Lunch good selection
Dinner was not great only having a choice of two starters and two Dinners wasn’t good enough we were fully inclusive I felt we wasted our money and should of just had breakfast, and that said the dinners on a couple of nights I thought were inedible in my opinion

I would definitely return but would maybe eat out in the evening

The staff were amazing so friendly and extremely helpful we were allowed a late checkout as our flight was late in the evening this was very much appreciated

We had a lovely time

If Atlantic Holiday sorted out their Menu and offered all inclusive guests the full menu then this would definitely be a 5 *

We had a superior apartment with a ocean view. The sunsets were very spectacular.

The room was decorated in a Scandinavian style. The apartment had a separate kitchen with basic equipment and appliances. The apartment was very clean and the hotel cleaners were very friendly. I would like to send them a special thank you.

The hotel is located in a fairly quiet area and there is a beach nearby with lifeguards and some facilities. There are a couple of grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. We personally liked the quiet location, but the area may be too secluded for families with children and too quiet for people enjoying a night out.

We didn't eat meals in the hotel restaurant so we can't comment on the food, but we did order ice cream from the pool bar once. The waitress at the bar was very rude to us and we did not use the pool bar any further. It should be noted that bar orders are put on the room bill and anyone can say any room number when ordering. When we check out from the hotel, they tried to charge us for orders we had not placed.

The hotel reception is staffed mainly by young people. They smiled a customer service smile, but were generally not very helpful. Their answers also varied depending on who you asked at any given time.

The hotel car park is problematic. It is reserved for hotel guests, but there is no gate or parking permit. The parking area was used by all the customers of the restaurants on the street and also by locals. There are therefore limited parking spaces. One evening we arrived in our rental car in the car park and a man in a hoodie approached us angrily. He did not introduce himself and we thought we were being robbed. He asked who we were and did not believe us when we told him we were hotel guests. Just laughed. He was apparently the hotel's night watchman. We did not think that this was the way to behave, even if we were outsiders. A sad end to our road trip.
