This was a repeat vist as we had stayed there the previous year. Location is excellent right on the sea front. Nice selction of shops and Bars close to the hotel. We were all inclusive but the ate out a few times as the food wa not always to our tatse. Apartments are claen and bright.
Hotel playa Dorada is exactly what you wud expect from a 3star all inclusive holiday. Clean spacious bedrooms. Comfortable beds plenty of hot water and clean towels. Breakfast excellent selection, lunch good as well. Dinner could do with an improved selection of mains. Staff very efficient in dining room. Bar staff excellent and good selection of drinks. Bar snacks could be improved a bit of variety wud be good. Location is perfect just a stroll to a perfect beach. Only down side is the noise from the hotel next-door. Spoiled the entertainment as they had to compete wit the other hotel. If you wanted to have an early night bring earplugs.
Hello, holiday was amazing. Food and service was great. I enjoy this vacation. Sea was clear. Swiming pool is big. Pool for children it is good idea. I wonder who provides animation programs? What kind of agency is that? Animation programs were interesting
Was here August 2019, with husband and son 9yrs old. Absolutely love this hotel, been coming for the last 5 years (we missed 1 year went to Tenerife) but sadly it's no longer the same. Still a spotless hotel, bar/dining staff all lovely. Never had a problem with food, but this year I struggled. We ate out on an evening at local restaurants, plenty of them around sa coma/silliot. Never stayed in for evening entertainment because to be honest it's always been a little poor. Lots to do locally though, Entertainment around the pool this year was shocking... No rifle shooting, darts, etc only thing we saw was aqua aerobics & kids water polo..2 young girls trying their hardest to get people to join in but nobody was interested. My husband played French boules on the green at the front of the hotel, he actually stopped the entertainer because she hadn't introduced the 4 people who were playing. Lifeguard- she just walked around flicking her hair. Hotel caters more for German guests, was only 2 English families there while we was there. Shame I've got so many years of memories from this hotel but I guess things change, people change & it's time to move on. Thank you though…
We have been to this hotel several times over the years and it remains one our favourites. The location is fantastic with a beautiful outlook over the sea and ideally placed to visit bars and restaurants in both Sa Coma and S'illot. For us one of the aspects that makes this hotel stand out is the staff - they are truly great and we have never been anywhere that has such welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic staff. Be it the bar, the restaurant, reception, maintenance or the cleaners they all offer friendly and professional customer service. In our experience of other places actually quite unusual. The all inclusive element is very good indeed and the hotel has a very relaxed attitude to this compared to others that is quite refreshing. The food this visit was excellent and probably the best we have had since visiting the hotel. The pool is large and even in peak season never felt over crowded or too busy. Similarly getting a sun bed is not a problem and even in August we could easily get 4 beds together after 9:00am. One previous contributor made a comment about not getting any sun which simply is not accurate. One side of the pool loses sun mid afternoon but the majority of the pool area is in full sun all day. The evening entertainment is a bit hit and miss, probably more miss, but this is not a priority for us. Similarly the day time entertainment is variable with one amazing rep but one that is far from that. One final note is the clientele. We were an English family of four and were one of probably only half a dozen English families in the whole hotel. For us this is not a problem and we really enjoy mixing with the variety of nationalities at the hotel and found all to be friendly. To be honest we find it a bonus not to hear shrieking English voices around the pool all day. I would highly recommend this hotel.…
