Having booked in 2019 and waiting 2 years due to covid this was a much longer for trip and I was a little dubious as the price was so low! The apartment was very basic but very clean to be fair. We had 11 night stay, cleaners came 3 times during our stay and changed all bedding and towels, bins and swept floors. We did not intend to do any cooking but wanted fridge for storage of drinks which was perfect. Had we wanted to cook, there was no kettle and not much in drawers or cupboards in way of utensils and crockery so be warned if you do intend on cooking! There are several Spar shops for food but corner shop prices, we didn’t see a large supermarket but then we didn’t drive anywhere so there may have been a cheaper larger shop locally. The living area/ where kids slept on sofa beds had air con but our bedroom did not, it was very warm in there so could do with a fan, to be fair we didn’t ask at reception and probably should have as they may have provided or been able to rent us one. We enjoyed eating out at a large variety of bars and restaurants within 5 min stroll, local cafes, bars and restaurants were great quality with a varied menu of food and drinks and mainly with sea views and a lovely atmosphere. Other hotels in area are very swish and probably cost thousands pp so we felt lucky that we had paid £600 per person for our holiday and were enjoying same resort, just sleeping and swimming somewhere basic. The pools were great and open from early till late, our kids enjoyed a late evening swim when we came back on a few occasions! The evening entertainment wasn’t great for us with teenagers but seemed popular with many! The same euro trash music, bingo, quiz night and terrible kareoke which was very loud and our apartment overlooked the pool so there was no peace before midnight but if you time it right and stay out till then it’s fine!! Having said that the entertainment staff were very enthusiastic! There are plenty of beds round both pools as well as tables and chairs., there’s plenty of shades and even a couple of day beds. There’s a kids splash zone open from 10-5 daily. Beware of having to pay ‘tourist tax’ at hotel on arrival of around €15 pp. nobody explained what it was - maybe as UK not in EU I assumed?! We never ate at the hotel and personally I wouldn’t go all inclusive in Spain as I like to explore and support the local businesses and my family are fussy eaters and I suspected the food would be a bit samey. I noticed the timings for meals were set and drinks finished at 10pm and we don’t like to clock watch when on holiday so eating pit enabled us to go with the flow! Overall we had a fantastic, relaxing break and would stay here again, it really was very basic but it’s in such a fantastic location in a beautiful resort so if you are looking for somewhere cheap to rest your head while enjoying a fantastic beach resort I would recommend.…
Me & My friend with our two children booked this through cheeky trips. We went all inclusive. big mistake. Its the same is provided every day! Pizza and chips and chicken nuggets being the main meal even the kids were sick of it after day 3! The staffs attitude were disgusting we had 3 things go missing shoes towels and kids toys the staff didn't care we asked to speak to the manager on more than 1 occasion and we were always told ' your just missed them ' they dinner hall staff couldn't speak a word of English and 1 even pushed me as I went down the line the wrong way!! This in my eyes was assault to which she found funny as I slipped. Iv took pictures of all of this happening and will be taking it further. The drinks stop at 10pm and then you have to pay! As for the rooms and the hotel dinner hall we'll there 0 Aircon it's absolutely boiling at night to the point where its colder outside and we slept out there a few nights as it was unbearable even the children really struggled. The entertainment was absolutely shocking. We were given a room right on top of the hotel which was up 3 floors which we had to walk up with cases and a pram as the lift was broke!!! As we were on the top floor it was dangerous for out children to be left because the roof came up to there knees it was a ridiculous hight and to top it all there was big pipes out there and a boiler not really acceptable for children. Again when asking staff to be moved they couldn't care less they look at you blankly. Never ever would I go here again absolutely nothing going for it. We spent £600 each on food out most nights as honestly I can't explain how bad it was.…
No air conditioning Food, I wouldn’t feed to my dog. Rooms are very dated Reception staff ignorant, rude and couldn’t hide how much of an inconvenience it was if you asked them anything. Bar staff worked as lifeguard also, so the one out of two bars they had open was barely maned. Catering staff, bunch of old rude women, someone spilt watermelon all over, everyone of them walked past it until someone fell. My son slipped in his slider’s, they came off and smashed a plate, they shouted at him for being barefoot. None of the staff spoke to English.
Having been to this hotel a number of times (approx 5) over 10years I thought it was a safe and reliable place to bring my elderly parents. On arrival to check-in at approx 10pm, we was faced with a non English speaking receptionist, she appeared to be having problems with our checking in, but couldn't understand what....after 30mins of her being on the phone, lifting up papers, rooting in pigeon holes, looking under counter, I was getting the impression all wasnt right. She eventually held 1 finger up with 1 key, which I assumed she was saying they only had 1 room, we booked 2 apartnents, q for myself and hubby and 1 for mum and dad. It was getting very late and we where all very weary especially my poor mum who had just been diagnosed with cancer and was having a little retreat before treatment began... It was translated over her mobile that manager asked if we could all share 1 room till morning and all will be sorted in morning,, not very happy but to get my mum a bed we agreed.... It was a 4th floor apartment which had 2 settees as well as a bedroom. She left her reception desk and escorted us into the apartment block to then translate over the phone that the lifts where out of order.... This was a nightmare as my mum was not fit enough to climb 8 flights of stairs... 1hour later through lots of frustrating phone translation, mum and dad had to stay the night in a tiny hot room where a working lift could get them to.... I didnt sleep with guilt and worry, Next morning I went to their room and dad said mum had spend most of night on balcony as she has lung cancer and her breathing is not too good.... I went to reception to pickup where I left off night before, a very nice English speaking staff greeted me having had a hand over from night staff and told me that a room on ground floor will be available at 2pm after cleaning., this did mean we would miss a planned boat trip but true to word my parents where in a spacious apartment that we had booked... This hotel in my opinion was always very good for 2*, but i really font thi k it deserves that......the whole complex had a smell of cat pee but yet I didnt see cats, the floor around the main pool was filthy and very sloppy, lifts was not fixed and had to walk 8 flights of stairs a number of times every day for the whole week....rooms brushed once and towels changed once, no bed change or even made. Stained toilet, cracked sink, cracked floor tiles, ice flowing out of freezer with no door on. Good thing was air conditioning and hotels location. Food very competitive, although we was all inclusive we ate out a lot. Drinks finished at 10pm so by the time wd had had a walk along the sea front after dinner the bar was only serving paying customers. . I had a new skirt routine from red wine as all drink where served in paper cups and if you hadnt drank your drink in a certain time then the cups become soggy and my cup split and leaked my drink on my lap....I will not be returning to this hotel anymore which is a shame as we have had so many happy holidays here over the years.…
We stayed for 4 nights. Very noisy at night with other guests banging doors as the walls are so thin. A bit dated in the rooms but comfortable and had a balcony which was lovely. The staff were friendly. The food was awful! Went all inclusive and had to eat out as the food was mass produced. No taste and eating with the vultures! People were just rude that were queuing and didn’t care unless they got their plates filled high to only throw it! Adult only pool but kids were in the pool jumping in.
The hotel is a short walk from the front, it has easy access and lobby is quite large. Upon arrival we were faced with a receptionist who said she couldn't speak English. We felt a bit unappreciated to tell you the truth. Throughout or stay all other staff were pleasant and almost always acknowledged us. The room was large and had 4 beds (2 in out party) the beds had old oak headboards just rested between them and the wall so each time you moved, the headboard banged against the wall which I am sure was great for the adjoining room. My wife struggles with positioning and 4 times we asked for a couple of extra pillows which never appeared. The restaurant was self service and a vast choice of foods were available. they even cooked fresh croissants in the morning. Evening meal was also a lot of choice. The only thing I would say was all the while I was there, I never got a HOT meal. the food was warm enough but never hot. Pool was nice although for me, would have benefited from some seating and umbrellas. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. at a reasonable hotel which does need a little updating.…
My first hotel I stayed in was lovely then I arrived here for 3 nights and it spoilt my holiday. Firstly trivago showed this hotel as air conditioned which was top of my list as it was a heat wave and I have a bad reaction to mosquito bites. The rooms are horrendous, I have never been in such close proximity to other guests ever, opened your door and had to say hello to your neighbour. (No privacy) On going for tea it was chaos, I queued politely everyone pushed in it was like a cattle market. No aircon and all the ovens were all on where you sit to eat which was filthy. I went for a walk down down after tea arrived back at 10pm and I was not allowed a drink on all inclusive 🙃 this was not mentioned, all I wanted was a herbal tea to help me sleep. Then the noise a kids disco at 10pm then the dj said music until 12pm. I wanted to go to bed. I thought spain had noise restrictions until 11pm? It was so loud everywhere was piecfull in s'lllot but you knew when you had got back to this hotel. I decided to chill at the adults pool and 11 kids used this pool, swearing, water guns, footballs so chilling was out of the question. The hotel just let's people do what they want, and the night time reception was very unfriendly.…
Booked the hotel for me and my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it. However we paid for all inclusive and ate out every night due to there not being any nice food. You got paper cups to drink out of but if you bought it was a glass didn’t bother us though. The rooms are very big and spacious the beds are very comfy and you get a great sleep. Our view was beautiful view onto the both pools. We got charged €30 on arrival for u don’t know what didn’t bother to ask as they barely spoke any english. But i would definitely book again for probably self crating or room only, there is loads of restaurants with a sea view and everyone is so friendly.
We just stayed at this hotel a week ago. At first hand the hotel looks very nice and welcoming, however I cannot say the same for the manager at this hotel. When we first arrived we were told we had to pay 25 euros tourist tax??? When we questioned the receptionist she didn’t know what this was for!! Being half board we asked the procedure of getting alcoholic drinks in the morning and evening when in the restaurant, and was advised that we could use the self serve wine & beer facilities within this time. However the manager felt the need to completely ostracise us by shouting in front of everyone that the drink facilities were only for all inclusive, she wouldn’t listen when we advised what we told. She allowed her children to go into the adult pool on more than one occasion. Very contradicting behaviour. The food was dreadful appeared to only cater for Europeans and staff, it was cold and the variety provided was awful. We were not advised about the free WiFi when we tried ourselves it was asking for a fee, it was only till 4 days in that a friend who was staying at the hotel advised we needed to go to reception and they did indeed sort it, however if we hadn’t asked no one would have helped us. All I can say is we will not be staying at this hotel ever again! The place outside the hotel is awesome and the staff in the nearby spar are absolutely fantastic they kept us going. Angelina if you are reading this, you are the most rude, contradicting and unapproachable manager we have ever met!…
Booked here on a cheap getaway for my 82yr old mum,my 18yr old daughter and myself,(52). Lovely hotel for the money, spotless rooms and the room was big, albeit it was the old pine furniture, the beds and pillows where a bit hard for our liking, but was ok yes, these rooms do need an upgrade but for the price, spot on.fridge, utensils,2 ring hob.we where self catering, says there is a cafe but there isn't,2 bars no food options apart from all inclusive. There is a lot of choices to eat right beside the hotel though, right at the beach.its a beautiful location but it is very quiet, even SA coma just a 10 Min walk along the shore is not that entertaining, lots of restaurants, shops n pubs but not a lot of entertainment.so if quiet is what u want then I totally recommend this place,it is beautiful and very friendly.…
