Apartamentos Playa Moreia has been recognized for its harmonious blend of lively evening entertainment and tranquil ambiance, enhanced by modern design and picturesque views. While reviews of the hotel's service vary, with commendations for staff friendliness contrasting with some dissatisfaction, the accommodations are generally celebrated for their roominess and comfort despite occasional cleanliness concerns. The hotel's prime beachfront location and diverse nearby dining options are particularly popular among guests. The value proposition is mixed; sea view rooms are a highlight, but concerns about extra costs and food quality have been noted.

We have just returned from an excellent 5 days at Playa Moreia. I booked the holiday with EasyJet holidays, half board, at a very reasonable price during school holidays, it definitely exceeded all my expectations. It was my daughter’s first overseas holiday and I couldn’t of asked for it to be any better. It was perfect!

We had a standard studio on the ground floor, it was spotlessly clean on arrival. I wish I paid the extra for the beach view as we didn’t have much of a view at all, but there was so much to do we hardly spent any time in the room so it didn’t bother us. We were also at the back so we weren’t disturbed by the entertainment noise, it was quiet throughout the night, which was good. Our bins and towels were changed every two days and a welcome picnic was left in our room, we choose what we wanted and it was reasonably priced and took the hassle out of going to find tea/coffee/bottled water/snacks from a shop when we were tired. We also arrived late due to a flight delay and missed our dinner on the first night and the receptionist offered a free lunch on another day to make up for it.

My daughter (5 years) really enjoyed the pool, there were lots of children a similar age and she easily made friends to spend time playing with. We went at the end of August and there was always plenty of sun beds available at the pool. There was a small playground, perfect for her age, air hockey, pool table, ping-pong and a couple of arcade games and rides to enjoy too.

The entertainment was good, during our stay we saw a Spanish party, parrot show and a rock band, we enjoyed it all. Bar staff were friendly, one lady bar staff in particular made a big fuss of my daughter, she really made her feel special, which I appreciate greatly.

The receptionist was friendly and helped organize a trip out pony riding for my daughter which was a lovely experience. He also helped with calling a taxi to go to a local water park (La Reserva) which was a highlight! At some point I miss-placed the key card for the room, there was no fuss and I was quickly given a replacement.

There was a good selection of food, we really enjoyed the breakfast. Dinner was ok, there was always pizza/pasta/chips available for the kids and a large selection of deserts.

I would strongly recommend this hotel, especially if you are on a budget and have young children. We were never bored, had no issues or complaints and throughly enjoyed ourselves. I wish I booked longer and will definitely return.

Great location. Plenty to do within 5 mins walk. Close to local bus routes. Good choice of restaurants either opposite hotel or easily a very short walk.
Staff helpful and pool area clean and staffed by lifeguard during main daytime hours
Breakfast buffet was fine as long as you don't expect other guests to queue. It was a but if a free for all.
It's only listed as 2* and to be honest that's about right.
Cheap and cheery.
Room was ok but only one change of towels in 5 nights and no bedding change.
Great views from balcony but the balcony railings moved in the wind, vibrating, on a breezy day they were very noisy. Room door has a key card system and ours stopped working. It took about 30 minutes to get this rectified and Involved taking lock apart and replacing the batteries within the mechanism.
We had air con without a deposit but had to pay more to use safe and more to have WiFi in room. Which is ridiculous in this day and age, even our local buses back home have free wifi.
Room was ok and there was a small kitchen but food is available everywhere locally so we ate out all the time.
Bathroom was nice and we had a large power shower. Which had hot water at all times.

Came here for a cheap 4 day getaway. The beautiful beach is right in front of this hotel so if you are fortunate to get a room at the front of the hotel you will not be disappointed with the view.
The hotel foyer was very nicely decorated. It looks as though this huge hotel is being updated bit by bit. The staff were fantastic and a credit to the hotel. My guess is that many of the rooms in the hotel are to a much higher standard than ours. Our room was situated on the 7th floor at the back of the hotel so no sea view. There were at least 3 lifts so getting uo to the room with luggage wasn't an issue. Our room was in need of updating however some little touches with the furniture and bedding were appreciated and went a long way to making it look more respectable. We had a very cheap break here so I think the room we were given was perfectly acceptable as we would not expect a fabulous room given the budget rate we paid through Sunshine holidays.. The kitchenette though shabby was functional however we ate out every night at local restaurants. There were buffet style meals for a very reasonable price at the hotel which would be very economical for families.
The shower in our room had a curtain around it which meant the water tended to drip outside the shower tray and needed to be mopped up. There were plenty of towels supplied (changed on the 2nd day). We also had a problem with the toilet flushing mechanism when we arrived on the Sunday, but I cannot fault the hotel they immediately sent someone up to repair it. Aircon was free (refundable deposit on handset),. We hired towels fior the beach too which cost just €7.50 for the two of us for the entirety of our 4 day stay (plus a refundable deposit).
The hotel had a bar with entertainment every night which was great because this is a quiet resort, plenty of restaurants but low key night life. All in all we had a lovely stay here and I think the hotel warrants an Excellent rating based on what I've told you here.

Our room was nice, clean and modern as was the reception area. The food was not great and a lot of the hotel needed updating. The in hotel bar was outdated and slightly dirty and the pool area was poor. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel because of this. The location is fantastic, we walked around S'illot and Sa Coma every day and treked to Cala Millor as well which also gives plenty to do. You can also get the Safari train and the train to other parts along the coast at a small cost which was really nice. The beach outside the hotel was fab. Would stay again but only for 3-5 nights. We stayed here May 2018

This place hasn't let us down in any way, it just needs some slight tlc in places but it's not bad at all. On arrival you have to pay the tax in cash and 15 euro deposit for the air con remote. The room is cosy but we knew it would be cos we paid for a studio room for family of 3. It's decorated quite nicely and the beds are comfortable. Kitchenette is basic but we haven't used it for cooking. There's no cooker just a hob so very limited anyway. Quite a few reasonable bar/restaurants very close by. The swimming pool area is the highlight....it's lovely but the pool isn't heated but you soon get used to it if you're brave. The bar area is good too and nice inside. The staff all seem extremely helpful and friendly. Wifi is free in the reception area but if you want it in your room it's 15 euros per device. Sa Coma is a short walk after crossing the bridge and the beach is definitely better than the one directly outside this hotel but it's still nice. 3hr boat trip which you catch from Sa Coma takes you up and down east coast and stops for swimming or looking though glass bottom and also shows you some caves. Thoroughly recommend this. Recommend the hotel too but if you want some luxury then stay elsewhere.

Stayed at this hotel for a short 5-day break, due to delay in flight, we arrived late 2.30am. Reception was friendly but instead of quickly checking all guests as we were all tired, she kept telling each guests 'all the information'. When we finally got our room key, tried to get into our room, wouldn't work but then another guest answered the door. We were told the wrong room and it was written on the key card.

Room was basic, had the amenities for self catering however it smelled bad of fish. We did report it to reception and they said they would get maintenance to check it out. Whether they did or not, we were not updated plus the room still stank of smelly fish. We had to open patio doors to let the smell out and buy an air freshener.

Despite the hotel having quite a few guests, there was no entertainment in the evenings especially Friday and Saturday. They did provide 'coco the clown' for the children on 2 occasions and on Thursday a 'cowboy & comedy' act which was extremely bad!

However, location of the hotel is perfect, close to the beach, a few shops, restaurants but again, no bars, mostly restaurants. We did come to have a chilled, relaxing holiday but it was dead. Even for light entertainment or tribute act or even dare I say 'karaoke', nothing. Best get taxi to Cala Millor for that but Sa Coma did have several nice restaurants.

2.50 euro per day for safe in the room.
15 euro for deposit for air conditioning remote control (a/c free)
Cleaning/change of towels every 2 days but they didn't make the beds or cleaned the floors, just changed the towels and emptied bins

We have just returned from two weeks at Playa Moreia and we had a fantastic holidays. We were allocated room 720, right at the top, and the views were amazing from our enormous balcony. Watching the sunrise and hearing the waves lapping on the shore really made our holiday.

We booked bed and breakfast and the restaurant staff were first class, quickly clearing tables and ensuring masks were worn. We were really impressed by the no nonsense approach of the staff when dealing with a guest who had secreted at least 5 bags full of food into her own bag to take away for lunch and probably dinner too! Thank you to Fatima who provided us with freshly cooked eggs and bacon every day!

On reception, Carmen was very helpful when looking at places of interest but our biggest praise must go to Kevin, who responded to our needs without fuss, was very friendly and polite and really helped our holiday go so well. Kevin is a credit to the hotel and needs to be commended for his attention to detail, patience and first rate customer service.

We enjoyed the local bars and restaurants and have no complaints whatsoever about our stay, which was very much needed after a very hard 18months through COVID. We will definitely return.

The location of this hotel could not be better , directly opposite the sea and beach with ample places to eat and get a drink close by. The room we were given was a really good size with 2 bathrooms ideal with a teenage son . The view from the 6th floor balcony was great especially on a morning with the sun rising . The staff were all very friendly and helpful, my only slight negative was the dining area and the food . We were half board and in hindsight bed and breakfast would have been a better option , plenty of choice at breakfast and tasty as for dinner this was not served until 7.30pm which is mostly fine but some days we wanted to eat earlier. The food when we did eat on an evening was fine but a little samey so we did end up eating out quite a bit. We would definitely stay here again and had a great holiday.

My older parents and i stayed here for two weeks. It was an incredible place to stay.
As it was me and my parents we got a double room, meaning there was a double bed, a sofa bed, two bathrooms and a kitchen.
Despite us being exhausted from arriving at three AM we definitely noticed our clean rooms and the bathrooms were spotless.
Overall, the room was very clean and satisfactory however on the first couple of days we noticed the kitchen only had one socket near the work surface and it was beside the sink! There was another socket at the end of the couch which was hanging off the wall. Presuming mainly kids stayed in this room it felt quite unsafe.
The pool was lovely it just felt quite small and some families were quite rude but not the hotels fault and i suppose you were conditioned to go to the lovely beach.
I see a lot of people complaining about the room wifi expenses but we paid 30 Euros for three devices (however lovely woman at reception gave us an extra one for our IPad.
All in all it was a lovely trip and stay and we'd definitely considering returning

Honestly do not know where to begin.
After arriving at the hotel around 1am, my partner and myself were exhausted and couldn’t wait to get some rest.
When we arrived to our room we knew something wasn’t right straight away. We paid for a seaview but the room we were given was over looking the local shop with no seaview. Then we noticed all the ceiling tiles were out of place and it just looked completely run down. Then that is when the noise began. It was like everytime someone in the hotel was flushing their toilet the pipes above our room would begin clattering and making loud noises - this would happen every 15-30 minutes. Because it was so late and we were exhausted we decided we would stick it out for one night and speak to reception in the morning. Safe to say we had NO sleep at all that night with the noise keeping us awake.
In the morning we spoke to reception who moved us room. This room was a lot smaller than the previous.
Fast forward to 6:30am on day number 3. I was then awoken at this time by more banging and loud jet like noises from right outside our bed room window. I had a look to find the hotel staff were banging the sunbeds about the pool and using a jet spray to clean them down. Could this not have waited until AFTER 7am when hotel guests are still trying to sleep.
To add to this I am currently 4 and a half months pregnant so by the end of each day I was very tired and just wanted a good nights sleep which was impossible as our second room was located directly above the evening entertainment - even with the balcony door and windows shut it was BLARING throughout the entire room making it impossible to sleep before the evening entertainment had finished.
We were extremely lucky that my partners family had rented a villa nearby so we spent as much time there as possible to keep away from the hotel.
I never went into the hotel expecting too much but this was well below any expectations.
