We are here at the Peymar now. It has changed hands since we were last here and it’s not what it was . It has lost its charm. Food is very average, breakfast is shocking. Rooms are very clean as maids in every day. There will be no 4th visit. It’s a shame as it’s a very unique hotel.
We have been before . We are here now. Its not what it what the last time we were here. Staff very slow at the bar. Food not as good . Rooms looked after good. I am very disappointed this time. The Peymar has lost it charm 😔 so wished it was as we had the last time here
- Very run down, dirty, broken, unpleasand, this is not a 3star hotel. - Breakfast is awfull, I can't imagine that people give it a good score.. - Some friendly staff, others are very defensive when told something isn't right. - Everything costs extra while the hotel is extremely expensive already, we are living in 2019.. we shouldn't pay for WIFI. - Rooms are outdated, bathroom is very very old and unclean, the airco is not an airco.. it's a ventilator. - Looking at all the reviews, most of them must be fake. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
We have just one scentence to say: Hotel «pay more» in «sh*t a lot» (hotel Paymar in Si’llot). And the beaches looked like the city dump with garbage everywhere! On the bumpers on the cars it stood: «tourists go home!». Next vacation we leave for Pegasus hotel in Crete. Love from Norway.
We had a great time this summer, I liked the interior od this hotel, it is very colorful. The best off all is stuff, nice, friendly and helpfull. We didn't like the food, there was poorly choise of food. We had all inclusive staying and we were suprised with drinks that was included(votka, gin, whiskey...) so that was great.
Personally I loved this hotel. Although its not going to be for everyone, here's why. The hotel its self is reasonably small (maybe 50 or 60 bedrooms) compared to the other hotels in the area. The décor is quirky meditarainian with lots of deep reds, statues and big mirrors. The bedroom could do with some work as its starting to show some wear but somehow its forgivable as it fits the character of the hotel. Balcony was a nice size and due to such close proximity to the beach it was a lovely to wake up in the morning to the sound on the sea. Food is nothing special but for the size of the hotel you cant expect extravagant amounts, but what I had was tasty and enjoyable. The bar and restaurant staff were fantastic, very friendly and made me feel welcome. Now here is the important part if your considering a stay here.. If your traveling alone, as a couple for a relaxing get away or friends for peace and quiet your gonna love it here. If you have a young family, I'd strongly advise you try somewhere else. The pool is very small ( 4 breast strokes and you've completed a length ), there's no entertainment except back ground music, no afternoon activities run by animation team, no kids club / mini disco etc. Families are of course welcome but its not geared for them. This is a hotel for relaxing, chatting and watching the world go by and that's it. As long as your expectations aren't to high and you absorb for character of the place you'll love it. Personally I cant wait to return.…
Food was an average, nothing special. They have water problems. Some times during the day and all night there will be no water in the tap, shower or to flush the toilet. It can be very annoying! However, on day time, it won't take long for the water to be running again. Perfect location. Just few steps from the beach. Near shops and restaurants. We had room 303. Amazing view. Sonia (in the reception) was very friendly & helpful. Drinks served in proper glasses & you are allowed to take your drinks to the beach. Swimming pool is small but still great and very clean. The hotel is very clean. We gonna come back for sure. It was a very pleasant stay.
The room was clean, and staff friendly. I found the bed comfy however my partner found it hurt his back. We were lucky enough to have a balcony despite paying for a basic room :) We were all inclusive however, as a vegetarian, the food wasn't great as they like to add bits of meat to pasta/rice/everything and not that much else on offer other than vegetables, also the dishes often weren't labelled (would be awful if any specific dietary requirements). The food I did eat I did enjoy. My partner who eats meat enjoyed this part of the meals. Location was very good, right on the seafront and lovely beach, perfect for swimming in the sea, which is fortunate as the pool is small. Also lots of bars/restaurants a stones throw away. We were disappointed to find cocktails not included in the AI, also no cider or choices of wines etc. Also the coffee machine was regularly out of coffee or not working during breakfast.…
Staying here currently and read all the negative reviews My experience this week couldn’t have been more different, from the pleasant professional staff at check in, the very polite bar staff and the very friendly cleaning staff I can’t find fault Yes the pool is small but it’s enough given the beach is across the road Rooms are basic but completely enough for what you need (would be nice if the safe was free) The food is not always to British task but I understand I’m not usual clientele, myself and my 6 year old ate well enough every meal The biggest charm of this hotel is of course location, can’t be closer to the beach, shops for all your needs in a minutes walk and pure silence in the night I will revisit and will share my great experience
Just stayed in the Hotel Peymar a few days ago and It has to be one of the worse Hotels I have stayed in. Firstly arrived and was told we had to pay Tourist Tax and pay for shuttle service with cash only. So we pay with the spending money rather than a card which was a big inconvenience to us. We were booked all inclusive and were looking for a snack when we arrived in the afternoon but got told by the barman Jorge who was very rude that there was only 3 rolls available which were stale. We assumed that if you were all inclusive that you could get food all day but Lunch was only served from 1 to 3 pm and dinner was 7 pm to 9. Reception staff were rude. Waiters and cleaning staff were the only nice ones at the Hotel. Double beds were 2 single beds. The room was inside the hotel so our window looked out on the Lounge so no great views and there was only blinds so light from the lounge still keep us awake for most of the night. Food was ok but had to have a few meals out as got fed up with stewed pork and fish. The shuttle bus back was 40 minutes late and was so close to calling a Taxi to get us to the airport. The waiting staff and the cleaning staff were so helpful as the only positives from the Hotel. Swimming pool was small and no room for everyone at the hotel to sunbath etc…
