To be honest I was very worried about this holiday due to the awful reviews!!! I agree about the receptionist she was awful!!! Terrible mooded and just couldn't give a crap! She used her go away hand gestures a few times 😡 The hotel was pleasent we booked a sea view! So was beautiful we wasn't in the room much so couldn't complain about the room!.the sea was a few steps away and my daughter spent most of her hours in it! Beautiful... the hotel pool is on the small side but no one seemed to be in it apart from my family members so again can't complain... hotel is in walking distance of food places bars markets shops! So is perfect really. The downside to this hotel was the food! It was terrible!!! I lived on soup.. we had lunch food but it was the left over cheese ham ect in sandwiches and most the time they were made with the end of the loaf bread..the juice machine and hot machine was dodgy so u would get awful drinks.. the bar! Always had one person so some times u would be waiting 20 mins at the bar for someone to show up😱 I had a few glasses of wine with ice that had flys in that had come from the wine pump.. beer was good. Cocktails I can't say I only had one. We tried to rent out the paddle boards and requested 3! Again the moody receptionist said we can't have 3 so we asked for 2! She just gave a moody look and walked away... so we went to the rental about 2 mins away and got our 3 boards! Which was very enjoyed.. the sea is very rocky! So I bought sea shoes for my daughter (very needed) u will still end up bashing your legs ect until u get to a decent depth.then it's lovely . All in all we would go there again but would book the next door hotel..Lovely restaurants around the corner. And do not leave your plastic cups u payed 1 euro each for in your room the housekeeping take them! So u don't get your money back because the bar requires 1 euro rental per glass so I had 6 in my room! So I could top up with water and juice for night times whilst the bar was not open. But they took them so had to pay again. Also took one of my key cards that controlled the electric so I'd leave my charger on charge and come back it was dead because they took the damn card. Not good when u have an early flight!!.all in all if your booking to just explore its perfect. But if your looking to relax and stay there to enjoy all inclusive I don't think its the place for you. As u can see in the pictures! THE VIEW WAS THE BEST PART.

The location was perfect but the hotel, not so much. On arriving to the hotel we were greeted by an impatient receptionist who didn’t speak well English. Non of the hotel staff were particularly friendly or English speaking so it did make it difficult to find out any information. The hotel sits on a corner looking on to the sea and a small beach which is in walking distance from the hotel. We had a sea view room which was ideal as we could utilise the balcony. The TV in the room had 0 English channels but we did find one radio channel that played a combination of generic pop music and Spanish music. The room itself was very basic and not at all how I expected from the pictures but the view from the balcony definitely saved it. All of the hotel beds were single beds as we later found out from a few of the people we spoke to at the hotel. The food overall was very average. Lunch was our favourite time for the buffet as they usually had a nice variety. Breakfast was not my cup of tea so I stuck to cheese on toast and pastries, although they had a selection of meats and cheeses, bacon and eggs. Lunch tended to be pasta, salads, paella, pork or chicken and the buffet at dinner time seemed rather like deja vu at this point. The bar and reception were often manned by 1-2 people at a time that covered both areas so there was often time spent waiting for service. The bar had all traditional drinks and cocktails - if you are taking drinks outside you must rent the cup for 1€ and you will receive it back when you return the cup. Cocktails were standard from the fridge but were actually nice when stirred as the staff never seemed to stir them but they had straws on the bar for you to DIY. There were lots of bars and restaurants near-by to explore but it felt almost illegal when you had paid for all-inclusive at the hotel. We had a couple of meals out and took a boat out to Porta Cristo which was lovely. Sun beds were sparse at the hotel and we would often have to rent sun beds on the beach which would range from 10-18€ for 2. We said that we would probably go back to S’Illot and stay in one of the nicer looking hotels a few door down but this hotel really is ok if you are on a budget and are looking for a week somewhere nice. Try to get a front sea view room if you can as this definitely heightened our overall experience.

Nice and pleasant hotel with an excellent location. The rooms are pleasant with a nice view, but they have paper-thin walls, so you can literally hear everything, so if someone likes peace and quiet, it's not the place for them. The rooms are clean, but towels were only changed once during a 10-day stay, which is a bit too little for such a long stay. Toilet paper was also not replenished, even when the roll was empty, you had to ask for it every time. The food is very good, everything is tasty and of good quality, with plenty to choose from. Lots of entertainment, live music every other evening. The staff is friendly and pleasant. If someone wants to use the pool and sunbeds, it will definitely be a challenge unless they reserve a sunbed with a towel before 7 in the morning (attached photo). Overall, a positive evaluation of the hotel. It's worth paying extra for a room with a side or full sea view.

The dryer ruins clothes because it is rusty. The food is the worst, no choices, only jelly the deserts are disgusting. The dishes are not washed properly. The sink in the male toilets is broken and you can't wash your hands.Once when we came back from caves and we were late 5mins whilst other people were picking up thier food. The staff told us it's too late and thier closed and we didn't get dinner.

On the outside the hotel looks generally acceptable. Our group had 2 rooms booked, an urban room ( which had an interior hotel view and no outside view at all) and a street room. The rooms at first glance were tired and needed updating, however they were clean but needed lots of repairs, panelling on the walls was not actually fixed to the wall, paint was peeling in several places, electrical outlets were not fitted properly and coming away from the wall and fuse box covers were not fixed to the wall at all. The food choices were limited and nothing had anything with ingredients on, so allergy sufferers would indeed suffer. We were also served raw meat and told it was ok. The staff were generally friendly and the drinks service was good. The pool isn’t big enough to actually go in and is cohabited with wildlife. For the amount of rooms, 15 sun beds is all they have so you have to be as fast as lightening. All in all, I would not suggest this hotel for a holiday unfortunately.

We have just got back from this hotel and considering other reviews we had read the reality was very different. The hotel was lovely the staff were friendly and accommodating, rooms were really clean. The free WiFi was great and with the hotel being right on the beach it was perfect. The food was mainly fish however there was always something to eat, bar snacks were sandwiches and pastry, all inclusive drinks included cocktails which were fantastic. The pool was on the smaller side but the sea is on your doorstep and it's so clear and clean. We had a balcony which was huge perfect for a picture overlooking the sea. There are karaoke bars and plenty to do on the strip of u head into cala malor which is only a short walk. Honestly for me and my daughter it was ideal. She wants to go back on a girl's holiday and will defo book this hotel again. We had issues with our transfers home and the night staff member was wonderful he assisted us in every possible issue and made sure we go to the airport. Honestly have to say it was a very good experience.

The staff are nice and welcoming but The Wi-Fi only works, in the lobby, I don’t have any Wi-Fi connection in my room, and while I’m in the lobby it keeps connecting and disconnecting. The phone in my room doesn’t work, I tried calling the reception last night to ask for blankets. The food has no description of ingredients and allergen labels. Overall this hotel still has a lot to improve on.

Response from Customer Care Executive Mix Hotels, Marketing at Hotel Mix Peymar
Responded Jun 6, 2023
Dear Cusstomer, Good Afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are delighted that our staff you found very happy and welcoming. We have to advise that the Wifi is payable on request at the front desk and is free in the common areas. We apologize for the telephone in the room not working but the hotel switchboard is out dated and we are pending to repair this we would recommend any customer who require any linen or other blankets etc to request them at the front desk or with the chambermaid on duty. I will forward the comments of the labelling to Chief and we will correct this as soon as possible, we are able to cover all customers dietary requests. Thank you and we wish you all our best regards.

We are here at the Peymar now. It has changed hands since we were last here and it’s not what it was . It has lost its charm. Food is very average, breakfast is shocking. Rooms are very clean as maids in every day. There will be no 4th visit. It’s a shame as it’s a very unique hotel.

Dear Gavin, Good Morning, Thank you for making your reservation with the MIx Peymar Hotel and also for taking the time to contact us. I have spoken to the Manageress this morning and she informed me that as you booked a low cost economy room and you where unhappy as a gesture of good will the front desk upgraded you free of charge to room 405 with a side sea view. The Manageress informed me you where very happy with the free upgrade and she is trying to locate you to inquire why you believe the hotel has lost its charm and what is the problem with the Breakfast. The Breakfast Buffet and Lunch have received excellent reviews as British Breakfast is included with continental Breakfast with a choice of Fresh Fruit, Cereal’s and pastries not to forget tea and coffee, fruit juices etc. It is shame as you say not to return to the hotel just because as a family company are the new owners and have worked very hard to improve the hotels service. Thank you for your review and I hope we can see you again for a fourth visit and regain your loyalty. Kind Regards
