The colourful studio and apartment Hotel Mariant is on the border between the towns of S'illot and Sa Coma, on the eastern coast of the Balearic island of Majorca. The hotel is a short walk from both Playa S'illot, a classic sandy beach, and Playa Sa Coma. The hotel has a sun terrace, where you can relax beside the outdoor pool. With an integrated kids' splash pool, the whole family can enjoy the fun. From autumn through to spring, the hotel opens its indoor pool, so you can have a swim no matter the weather. There's a buffet restaurant, which puts on a special dinner each week, with a variety of typical Majorcan dishes. There's also a bar stocked with a range of local and international drinks. In the afternoons, you can get ice cream and fresh fruit from the smartline ice trolley. If you're looking to keep up your fitness routine, the hotel has a small gym available for guests. There's also table tennis available if you fancy getting competitive with friends and family.

Have just returned from 9 nights at the Mariant. The food was lovely, plenty of choice (though would agree with the other review, slightly limited for vegetarians ). The menu was on clear view as you went into the restaurant and the food was, mostly, clearly labelled. There was a very pleasant eating area outside under the trees, so the busy dining room could be avoided. My family really liked that option, though others would prefer the air conditioning in the dining room.
A small pool area, clean, plenty of chairs and loungers. Life guard from 10am until 6pm as the pool was deep. A small children's pool is at one end.
The hotel rooms were very clean, comfy bed, good air conditioning but were a little dated. The location of the hotel was perfect for the beach, easy walk no more than 5 minutes.
The all inclusive ended at 10 .30 pm. The bar closed then. We stayed out playing cards and at 11 30pm all the lights go out and 10 minutes later you are asked to go to bed. No one was being noisy, it is a very chilled hotel, quiet, family atmosphere. I understand that they don't want other guests disturbing but if people are being quiet I can't see why they can't stay out and enjoy the warm nights.
Overall a very pleasant stay and a massive thank you to all the waiting on staff and kitchen staff who worked relentlessly in the heat to provide a lovely dining experience.

This three star hotel did in many aspects exceed our expectations . Prior to arrival we requested a room on first floor with a pool view ( note :there are no sea view rooms at this hotel) happily our request was granted. It is very clean hotel , cleaners always in evidence , good aircon in room , temps hit 29/30c whilst we were there, so it was very welcome. The beds were comfortable , decent shower over bath. The food choices were ok , usually something we liked , but also many strange and odd concoctions. Wine , beer, water , pop, and local spirits all on tap ,and all acceptable. Location of hotel is very good for town centre and beach, The biggest negative would be the dining room itself , once the doors open at 6.30pm its carnage , every man / woman for himself with no quarter given. No sense of order or good manners are evident. Small children charging about with plates full of food and nonchalant parents whom are just as intent loading up there plates to the max . As pointed out by other reviewers it is indeed total chaos. Needs some better management in this area. The pool was ok , usual bunfight for sunbeds , towels appearing on them at 7,00 am. despite the signs stating beds can not be reserved . However we usually took off to the beach rather than be crammed in like sardines in a tin !! Taking all these factors into account. on balance would we visit again ? YES we would. ps . Two sunbeds/parasols on s illot beach are 15.50 euro . The "posher " beds on sa coma beach are 35. euro !!! OUCH but that does include two small beers in the beach bar. We wondered why there were no price board on sa coma , we found out to our cost .

Me and my partner stayed at the hotel Mariant on Sept 2022 and we had a pretty good experience. The hotel installations are well maintained and cleaned, the rooms are nice and comfortable.

Tania helped us with the check-in and she was so so sweet to us. She is great!!

The food was great, we payed for the all inclusive which includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and you could also get soft drinks, liquor, beer and sandwiches from the bar during the day. Cocktails ARE NOT INCLUDED. There is an ā€œall inclusive plusā€ which maybe includes it but if you are staying with just all inclusive they cost about 2,5 euros each. Overall, the food options change everyday but some of them remain the same (we ate Paella nearly everyday).

The hotel is in a good area near to many businesses and restaurants. There are two beaches near by: Sā€™Illot, which wasnā€™t our favourite because there was a weird smell; and Sa Coma, which is absolutely beautiful, clear water, almost white and soft sand and it is very big so there is a lot of space so it doesnā€™t ever feel crowded. There are also 2 calas Cala Morlanda and CalĆ³ dā€™en rafalino (which is better in my opinion) about 20 minutes away walking, but we rented some bikes at Super Bikes and got there quite fast. I recommend renting bikes and ride it along the coast, itā€™s very nice.

I would also recommend going to the Cuevas del Drach, they are pretty close from the hotel and you can get there by bus.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was nice, big and clean, if youā€™re on higher levels, you have a nice view of houses and hotels around you (and if your room is facing east, you can also see the sea, but not the beach, as itā€™s about 4th row from it), the staff was incredibly nice and willing (everyone at the reception speaks at least Spanish, English and German). The variety of food was huge, and everything was delicious, but there could be more alcoholic drinks from bar included in the all inclusive (there was piƱa colada and tequila sunrise). Both beaches were about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, hotel had a nice pool (with opening hours) and a huge terrace. Private parking with a ramp was available for 3ā‚¬ per day.

Ive read a few reviews about the food here and I must say I agree with the ones that state that the food is poor. Nothing is labelled correctly or easily viewable and the number of flys I noticed jumping from food to food was unbelievable. We paid for all inclusive, however spent most of our meals out as the only option we had was cold chips or very starchy pasta/spaghetti.
On our arrival our room wasnā€™t ready which we understood however we had to wait until past 2 (check in time) to receive one key between us both, we were not told any information regarding meal times or check out time and had to find this information out ourselves. Once in our room there were hairs on the bedside table and the toilet seat was stained. As well as this, the air conditioning was very small and fuse box was on show. The corridors were very dark and felt unwelcoming, they also had a very strange smell to them.

The pool on the pictures makes it look a lot bigger than it actually was and there is very limited room for sun loungers and umbrellas ( a lot of the sun loungers were also broken)

Thankfully the surrounding area is beautiful and the hotel is a very short walk to the beach, local shops, souvenir shops and restaurants.
If you was to chose this hotel I would highly recommend not going all inclusive.

As a single traveller, I paid Ā£50 extra with Jet 2 for a nice, modern, if tiny room with a double bed, not really suitable for 2 , massive balcony, chairs and a table on the 4th floor of annexe, about 150 metres away from the hotel reception, peaceful and quiet, free air conditioning! The bed was super comfy, l couldnā€™t fault it at all!
Wardrobe door didnā€™t close, the flooring had some bubbling up issues near the external sink, but cleaning staff were great, on point and apart from 2 days, cleaned the room daily, not Sunday or Thursday. The food in the restaurant was hit and miss, mostly cold most days, l ate out a few times, as disappointed. Great beaches, Sā€™illot stinks of sulphur and has a pipe flushing into the estuary, great overgrowth of greenery and ā€œmineralsā€ for the local ducks to thrive onā€¦ Sir David Attenborough would have an absolute field day hereā€¦

On arrival midnight 6th May i found room 6 full of flies a rusty shower head a vent and a loft hatch vent in bad state of repair i went straight to reception and told them i could not stay in this room and asked for a different room he said I could not move. I was only booked for 4 days and therefore decided to stick it out the walls are very thin I could hear next room passing wind. The shower cubicle was so small that if you dropped anything you had to get out to pick it up. I find see some other rooms that looked very nice but these single rooms are appalling. On a positive note the hotel was clean the staff are very pleasant and generally helpful. The food was a reasonable quality no complaints and it went far to walk on seafront to beach or boat trip, town shops bars and restaurants.

We stayed in the annex part of the hotel- we were grateful for this as the smell of drains was much less in the annex. The rooms were very basic and relatively clean. We were only there for a few nights which was enough, I donā€™t think we would have managed any longer. The food was inedible- unless you enjoy rabbit stew and slop. One of us has an allergy to shell fish. None of the food was labelled and none of the allergens were listed. The food hall wasnā€™t overly hygienic. We didnā€™t eat at the hotel once apart from one breakfast so donā€™t bother going all inclusive. There are some lovely restaurants along the beach front and the beach was beautiful. We couldnā€™t even go near the pool as there is a distinctive smell of drains around the pool/ reception area. The pool also had a thick grime around it and there were about 30 loungers for the whole hotel. We simply used it as a place to sleep and shower- nothing more. If you want to stay in this area the Mariant Park Hotel over the road looks much better and is a 4 star. The staff were friendly enough but honestly we would not return. If you are used to English food and standards of hotels just be aware before visiting. This place makes a Premier Inn look like The Ritz!

We arrived at the hotel on the may 2024. We arrived about 11oā€™clock that night, we checked in at reception then went towards our room to place our luggage and have a shower due to a long day of travelling.

When we used the shower we found there was no hot water in fact the water was too cold to even touch. We couldn't call reception to report this fault, due to another fault being no where to connect the telephone line in anywhere, so we had to leave this matter for the night .

The following morning we tried the shower again and still it was cold water passing through, we went to reception to report this and they reassured us that this matter was being taken care of. This now leads to the last night of our holiday which the shower was still cold and hasnā€˜t been fixed after being reassured that this problem was going to he dealt with, this left us with no choice on the holiday to shower in cold water, which has now affected my partner to the point he is now ill.

After reporting this for the first 5 days of the holiday we then got offered to change rooms which we didn't see the point in changing because we only had a day left of the holiday, but we agreed to this proposal to which hoping the shower water would of been fixed and working in this room. Yet again this water was just as cold as the last room was.

We booked this hotel because we liked the look of the area and what they had to offerā€¦ we booked this holiday as all inclusiveā€¦ the drinks they offered was soft, juice, wine or beer, cocktails were to be paid for. The drinks were cut off around 10pm every evening and this wasn't mentioned anywhere not on the site or even informed of this.

The food was cooked front of house, and you were able to pick what you wanted to eat yourself, i had chicken this was still raw in the centre when cut into, the steaks were burnt to a crisp and were not edible in the slightest , the food options were not labeled to tell you what is what, to which was a risk for myself due to having allergies to certain foods.

I would not be returning to this hotel after my experience, due to the factors that i have noted above, to which i may include we also had to pay to use the jacuzzi and the sauna at a charge that wasn't noted above this hotel.

I myself have been to previous hotels which are 3 stars and i have never had to pay to use a jacuzzi as it was included in all inclusive or not.
