We have just returned from this fabulous location. First of all a great BIG thank you to all the staff who could not have been more helpful. Especially to Georgia who was brilliant and no stupid questions from us were any trouble for her. Alexandra who cleaned our room was an angel, nothing was too much trouble for her and...

Just returned from 10 days here with our 2 daughters (9 and 13) - was just lovely. Staff friendly, basic clean apartment, great pool, quiet garden area with plenty of sunbeds and amazing views. The soft, sandy beach was clean and long - plenty of room and never felt busy or crowded. The sea gently shelves, is clear and perfect...

The location of the Marina Bay is perfect. Peaceful and idyllic, all the rooms overlook the beach and the sea, and to lie in bed and listen to the waves is heaven. Our room was bright airy and spacious, a lovely comfortable double bed, and a super big balcony. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them,...

When we booked this hotel via Thomas Cook we were told it was in Skala; however that is not the case, it's actually several km outside the town and if we had not had a car would have felt isolated. it's at the end of a steep road down to the beach. The hotel itself is ok. The apartments are...

I've just returned from 10 days at Marina Bay, Skala, Kefalonia and it's location can't be faulted. It has a great pool at a good temperature and the beach is literally about 30 paces away. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the food was okay but not brilliant and some days were better than others. Breakfast was included but...

Having visited Marina Bay for 12 years we are somewhat ashamed not to have officially reviewed this delightful hotel on this beautiful Island - sorry Marina - but better late than never! We were attracted to Kefallonia following 'Captain Corelli' and attracted to Marina Bay due to its' off the beaten track location. We had a lot going on at...

i'd booked this hotel via Thompsons but on arrival it was clear the hotel wasn't as described. The hotel is completed isolated from any of the town. If you need to get around your only option is a taxi at 6euros each way, walking is impossible as the hotel is surrounded by steep cliffs making walking difficult and inappropriate. When...

My partner and I enjoyed our romantic two week paradise break. And that you certainly get. Beautiful sea views from your rooms, laying in bed at night listening to the waves. It's just such a shame as the rooms offer self catering except they don't provide saucepans bottle openers can openers etc... you have two glasses 2 mugs. But what...

Like so many reviews this place is very good. The rooms are large and very clean, the grounds and view are amazing and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can feel alone on the beach which is a rarity and it nothing short of amazing. However a previous review has hit the nail on the head when they...

Just got back from Kefalonia, stayed at The Marina Bay. It is a friendly and welcoming place to go, staff are warm and helpful. Special thanks to Spiro the chef, always cheerful. Rooms are big and clean, sheets and towels changed regularly. All rooms overlook the beautiful beach. I would not hesitate to stay here again, a real gem.
