Booked holiday as it was a great deal, been to Kefalonia 8 times but first time to Scala only because of the offer. The Eleana studios are on the outskirts of Scala but not far to walk into the main town, however was a bit of a hill so maybe not good for anyone with major mobility problems. Scala town... More

Booked the Eleanna few weeks before we travelled on our first trip to Kefalonia. Dina welcomed us with a lovely smile and straightaway felt we had made a good choice as seemed to be a very relaxed place.Fortunately had a large studio at the back of the property as concerned the noise of the road would stop us sleeping but... Its a 5 minute walk into the village but there is a pavement and streetlights. The studios were spacious, very clean and well set for self catering.I had read about the mattresses but found it suited me. my room faced the road which could be noisy. I'm a poor sleeper so bought earplugs from the pharmacy but by day 3... More

What a find, from the moment we stepped off the bus to be greeted by the lovely Dina, big genuine smile. Everything here is relaxed, clean, tidy. The world ticked by without us worrying about it. Some trip advisors mention road noise, we had a room nearest the road and it wasn't an issue at all. Access to the village... More

Read the room tips and hope you avoid the block next the road - we did not (we were in room 640 and unfortunately are light sleepers so did not sleep well. Also not much fun relaxing on the patio next to a busy road. Having said that, the room was nice and clean and towels were changed regularly, there... More

Just returned from a lovely 11 day break in Skala, the holiday was fabulous and myself and my mum met some lovely people at the hotel but it really needs updating. Dina, girl who works behind the bar is lovely and makes the bar area lovely for guests, unfortunately that is where the praise stops. The boss really needs to... More

There are good and bad things to say about Eleana. Firstly the good, it is clean and well maintained with good rooms and they are cleaned regularly/linen changed etc. The girl behind the bar is very helpful and the pool area is clean and well maintained. The things which we wish we had known before we booked (the bad things)... More

The apartments are very spacious ,, although Thomsons state that bedlinen and towels are changed 3 times a week, during our 14 night stay they were only chenged twice a week, thats ok it was no problem but if it states 3 times then thats what you should get. Dissapointed that the only snacks available were a toastie or crisps... More

This was a very reasonably priced accommodation and you get what you pay for. After reading some of the reviews j have just concluded that some people just like a whinge. There are some negatives but much more positives (which I'll start with first). The accommodation itself is nice and clean and is close to the main resort. It is... More
