We had lunch at their restaurant as part of siquijor tour, packed with tourists enjoying their lunch view on the beach with extra attraction: Dogs everywhere in the restaurant, tourist giving leftover to them (same plate), dogs reaching out to tables for leftovers, dogs fighting for their share. it was really disgusting, we did not bother to finish the food and its expensive on top of it not to mention entrance fee prior entering the resort.
My partner and I visited today and I feel compelled to write this to warn others of the disastrous meal we had here. We both ordered buttered chicken, garlic rice for two and two milo drinks. First surprise was our bill came to 917 php which by Philippines standards is THE MOST expensive meal we’ve had so far, the menu we were given stated 230 php for the buttered chicken but it turns out it was 398 php... so we were ripped off first red flag - we both thought to ourselves the buttered chicken must be good for 398 php each. We were so very wrong... 20mins later we received 3 small overcooked, dry, fried chicken drumsticks... yes that’s right CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS!!! When on earth has buttered chicken ever been fried chicken drumsticks?!?! The table behind us were also served this too and were very annoyed, I complained that this was not buttered chicken, though the servers were not interested and the waitress just grunted and pointed to fried chicken on the menu. This is a complete joke. Anyone wanting food here, don’t bother this place is a complete rip off and serves terrible food. I’d have rather spent 900 php on fried chicken in Jolibees, than this joke of a restaurant. Also the toilets are absolutely grim and in desperate need of a refurbishment. These elements completely ruined what was a great day snorkelling in the beautiful reefs here. Next time we return we will not be using the facilities here and I urge those visiting not to either. …
Recently visited Salagdoong Beach and was shocked how disgusting this resort has become. (1) The toilets near the beach were closed and we were directed to toilets at the other end. The floors were flooded, toilets didn't flush, broken cistern's, no toilet paper. (2) No water in the swimming pool. (3) The restaurant is terrible, unhelpful staff, cold food, dirty tables, with cats and dogs everywhere - even on the tables eating the leftover foods. The heath inspectors need to get involved with this resort.
I've been here many times because i live in Siquijor in my entire life . Salagdoong Beach resort is one of the most tourist attraction in the island because of its pristine clear water and white sand beaches that guest all want .
This beach is another venue for a cliff jump. The water is clear and clean.Amazing view above the cliff before jumping to the water! Salagdoong is a must-visit when in Siquijor particularly because it is one of the "veteran" beach resorts in the island.
