A quiet, warm, clean place and a great welcome for our honeymoon. He speaks French well. Breakfast is very good. 10min walk from Lake Como (beach, water activity, ferries). Restaurant and small shop a few steps away. We can only recommend!!

I don't know where to start! I rang the day before to see if there was a vacancy but there wasn't :(
Then Eugenio called me back a couple of hours later to say that he had found a solution. So I went there and found a very nice, cosy, comfortable room with a small and very clean and nice bathroom. Perfect!
Eugenio greeted me like an old friend and then took me sailing for the afternoon and we dined together at a local restaurant. He is a really great guy!
Next morning, mamma Mia!, the breakfast of fresh crepe (made with chestnut, buckwheat and Farro flours) breads, pastries, fruit, cappucino, cheeses, juices. This was a real breakfast not like many B&B that supply you with a supermarket pastry and bad coffee.
I think this was my best B&B experience. Grazie Mille Eugenio.

Unfortunately the room does not reflect the one on the website, which appeared much more welcoming. Cold and basic furnishings. The scents in the rooms and on the sheets were not pleasant because they were not natural. The heat of the radiators cannot be regulated and therefore in the middle of the night it was boiling hot and we had to open the window due to the dryness of the air. Breakfast nothing special…

Arriving: the instructions said “5. ROOM:*
- Name: *"ACQUA"*
-"To find it, go up the stairs, and on the left, you'll find your room with the key in the lock."

Not quite true on the left you find the breakfast room, then at the back of that you find another set of stairs and at the top of those was our room, only it was confusing because the sign had fallen off.

Because this is self check in and all rooms were open, these instructions meant we walked into the downstairs room which had no bunk bed, all in all it was not a good start.

Then you had to get the parking permit and find a car parking space, again instructions about where to park were not clear.

We booked a room for our family of four, the beds themselves were fine, but the room was very very hot and the fan served little purpose. The en-suite shower room was so small, you basically showered next to the toilet and basin.

Breakfast was nice and the staff were pleasant.

I wouldn’t recommend though, we couldn’t wait to leave.

As I'm traveling around Europe I wanted to stop at Lake Como for a while and I needed a place to stay. The one I decided on couldn't be any more perfect. Especially for the price!! I payed 50 dollars and got a beautifully decorated room with an equally beautiful bathroom, a home cooked breakfast (and dinner), my LAUNDRY done (by one of Eugenio's friends...she just offered!), personal transportation to the train station, and a tour of the lake on Eugenio's boat. Not to mention that all this was done with a smile. He even let me print my boarding pass for a flight. WOW! I was also only here one day and a night. Incredible. If any experience beats this I will be surprised. I can't thank him enough for his overwhelming hospitality. Thanks Eugenio!!!

It was a bit hard to find at first because the street is so narrow. But once we found the place rest of our stay was just perfect.
Annalisa and Eugenio are amazing hosts, who do everything that the guests could 100% enjoy of their stay.
Breakfast was superb, the table was full of all kind of food.
Our room was really nice on the first floor and our privat bathroom was pretty spacy.
One light minus goes to bed. It was very comfortable but creaked a bit too much.
And wifi signal was quite weak at first floor, maybe router could solve this "problem".
Definitely we will come back here in some day.

We stayed at La Casa Del Poeta in Sept 2016. We booked it through Tripadvisor. Upon arrival in Dervio, we looked in vain for the place, but GPS or not, we had no luck. I was just about to try to locate another place, when we decided to park the car and walk around to see if we couldn't find it. We did find it down an alley and called the innkeepers whose numbers we had from the confirmation.
It was a nice room in a nice old B&B.
Breakfast was great and the host and his wife couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. In addition, he has a large fenced in parking lot.
This was a great find.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this lovely place. The room was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the kids loved the crepes and all the different food. Both Eugenio and Annalisa were very helpful and gave us lots of advice on which places to visit and where to eat. Dervio is very quiet but we had a car so we could travel around. We were also given access to a safe parking place. It was a great experience. Thank you Annalisa and Eugenio.

We were very suprised how lovely this stay was for the price! Dervio is just gorgeous and not very touristy compared to other parts of lake Como.
The breakfast was lovely and very family like around a table with Lisa and her husband. They were so welcoming and friendly. They couldn't do enough for us!

Highly recommended B&B!
