The hotel now goes by the name Hotel Lago Maggiore. Rooms are clean although a little bit dated and there wasn't any shampoo; also, only one socket worked and there were no light bulbs in the lamps by the beds. Rooms overlooking the street are very loud because of the traffic, day and night. Breakfast was poor, everything was packaged...

I do not agree with the overall comments. The rooms are clean. I've been in worse 4 stars places hotels. It's nice to spend only a couple of nights in here between flights or for shopping. The service is good and nice people.

Well that was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The room was very unclean, not even sure if they had washed the bed sheets since the previous occupants! The staff were very unfriendly and rude, in no way helpful at all! The food was very poor and unappetising, had better grub at a lorry stop! I would...

Nice Hotel at the small town. Nearby to Milano, Como, Varese... where are many things to do and see. Very nice stuff. Close to many different shops and restaurants. Perfect place to stay for a weekend. Breakfast could be better, but its ok to have coffe and crossaint.

Warning: These people are thieves! We reserved two separate rooms but when we arrived they told us to stay in one room with 2 beds. We refused and called our booking agent. They did not want us to us their phone so we had to find a public phone to do so. Once the booking agent called they suddenly find...

This place was hard to find on the GPS. The hotel offers breakfast, but not necessarily at consistent times, sometimes at 6:30a.m. sometimes 7:30 a.m. The rooms are really small but this seems to be the norm. The rooms were clean, beds were great. The staff, for the most part try to help the best that they can. All in...

we've made a reservation in this hotel more then a month before our trip. As we arrived, we were informed that it was only possible to stay one night and not the 2 that we had booked once there was a problem with the credit card. As it was later confirmed not only there was not a problem with the...

If you are going to take a flight from Malpensa airport in the morning, this is one of the convenient places to stay overnight. It takes some 30 minutes to reach the airport from there. The hotel is ok, though the rooms are not big (especially bathrooms). And the acoustic in rooms allows you to hear every sound happening in...

We had an early flight out of Malpensa (Milano) and didn't just want to stay at the airport for our last night in Italy. We looked around Lago Maggiore but there isn't a lot open this time of year. We stumbled upon this hotel and went in and asked if we could see a room. Luigi eagerly showed us and...
