Amazing campsite. The facilities were excellent - the showers in one of the blocks was comparable to a 5* hotel. the supermarket was good - not super-expensive. The pool was really nice, and swimming in lake Maggiore was lovely - warmer than the pool. No negatives. We had a nice pitch under trees that was a short walk to everything. We were the only Brits on the site - but everyone spoke English, so wasn’t a challenge.

Property's Favorite Review
We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Campofelice (11th floor, in the tower). Comfy, modern rooms (newly renovated) - we had Deluxe Double with Balcony - with bright and big shower and a balcony with a superb view on the Lago Maggiore. Big windows to open and also A/C and heating. Free parking space available on site. Good Wifi, easy checkin & checkout, good breakfast. Nice staff. Due to the construction site nearby (they're renovating the nearby restaurant), we received a 20% discount off the regular rate. Very quiet at night, because the workers were on site between 07.00 am and 5.00 pm. We really recommand this place!

Great stay, amazing place. Only 5 minute drive down to the local town. Stayed in a 6 birth cabin, facilities 10/10. Staff where pleasant and super helpful when needed. Very close an accessible to main towns and cities in Switzerland. Would 10/10 recommend.

We stayed in one of the Camelia bungalows for one week. The cabin was very spacious and had everything you need for a week's stay. In general the campsite is clean, very well maintained and even with the COViD restrictions there was plenty to do for all the family. Lakeside has plenty of space and there are some 'parkour' floats for the kids to play on. Check-in and checkout were both very easy and completed within 10 mins even with the COViD restrictions. Highly recommended and we will be back.

We stayed here for one week in August, 2019 and really fell in love with this place. We stayed in a large tent in a standard-sized pitch (row 74, I believe), and the pitch was HUGE. We had absolutely no problem whatsoever fitting our 3 x 5 meter tent, our car, AND a 3 x 3 meter shade shelter (pavillion) all on our pitch and even had some room to spare for a drying rack, grill, etc. The pitch was also nice and flat and surrounded by tall trees to supply shade. My only complaint is that the large pool there was often a bit cold. But after a day or two of hot sunshine, it was a nice temperature. The store on the campground had most of the basic necessities, including lactose-free milk, cereals, meats, yogurts, cheese, veggies and fruits, and pasta, and also a nice selection of breads in the mornings. There is also a large grocery store (Coop) in the mall just down the street. I really like the fact that you can rent small refrigerators at this campground. So helpful. The bathroom area closest to our pitch was one of the older ones, but they were always kept very clean, and most of the other bathrooms on the campground were all new and VERY modern, with private shower rooms that had VERY large walk-in showers as well as a sink and mirror. And those new bathrooms are also air-conditioned, which was nice. The campground often provided entertainment for kids and families in the large white tent (pavillon). You have to check the billboards outside of that pavillon tent to see when the shows are. They would often show kids movies in the early evenings. And right next to it is a nice ice cream and pizza place. The beach / lake area is really nice, and you can rent paddleboats, canoes, etc. This is by far the best campground that we have ever been to. It is excellent for families, and we really hope to go there again this summer. :)

Everything went perfect. All the facilities are great and confortable. It is indeed an amazing place. However at the time of check out, the receptionist was extremely rude when charged us for late departure after we waited 30 min in line to do the check out.

We stayed at Campofelice for 3 nights with a camper van on the way back from Italy. There were many pitches available and check in was quick and efficient. The site is beautiful- on the lake nestled between mountains. Very clean and tidy. The sanitary blocks were nicer then in some hotels. So clean and modern. The family bathrooms were a nice touch and baby bath very helpful. Good selection of food/drink outlets although the supermarket closes for hours for lunch just when you need it. Kids programme was a nice to have. Swimming pool was excellent. Water in the main and kids pools was cold so everyone ended up in the small heated bubble pool which was fine as not crowded. Some shade over the kids pool would be great. The two play parks we used were well maintained and varied. An excellent campsite which I would recommend and use again. Not cheap though.

I stayed here for one night when bike touring in Ticino 🚲 The campsite is big and busy so there are lots of guests, motorhomes, campers and tents. It's not the quietest of places but a good solution if you are touring in Lago Maggiore area. The campsite is located next to the lake and is subdivided in different sections with just tents, tents and campers etc. Upon check in there was a line but eventually it was my turn. You can select your preferred pitch then you need to get back to give them the pitch number and you are handed a plate to put on the tent and a bracelet to also access the swimming pool. The place is expensive but clean and with friendly professional staff.

We stayed in a very nice bungalow for two weeks which was brand-new and included a nice yard space. The only downside was that after a week we didn't have any warm water anymore. However we reported it to the reception and they worked hard on fixing the issue and in the end we could shower warm again. The bungalows were situated very close to a new pool, which was very nice and also included a heated pool to relax in. Above the pool there was a gym with several machines. However, sometimes some were occupied by children who were playing with them. The campground included many other activities for all age ranges, like a soccer field, a volleyball court, several tennis courts, a playground and the lake. At the lake there's the possibility to rent paddle boards, canoes and boats very reasonably. Overall the experience was great and especially recommendable for families with kids.

We camee to this campground by accident because all the campground in Italy where fully booked. But what a nice surprise it was! The pitches are very big, clean, ... . The showers are extremely clean. The shower blocks ,are except one, new. you can sit by the lake on a sand beach or grass. I don't like sand, so you can choose whatever you like. there is a marina to put your boat. A lot of wildlife comes strolling by your camper. this is really nice. The ducks, birds, swans, ... are not afraid like in a fairy tail movie. Strange but nice. The security is very present at night. I like this very much. no possibility to have noisy neighbors because security will ask them to be quit. Love it! Only three words to add: great, great and great
