It's our annual holiday and feels like home. Excellent service, friendly and obliging staff (they like their job), good atmosphere, lovely rooms with great views from the balcony, the warm pool a treat for aching limbs. By the way, the proprietors are on site and very nice, too.

We spontaneously spent three nights in the hotel with our 5-year-old son. A great, individual hotel with a very nice garden and pool area and an excellent and personal service! We will definitely come back again!

Spent 7 nights here. The hotel is excellent. Great room with large balcony. Breakfast was good. Lovely gardens, very well kept and the pool with 30 degrees was what we really wanted. Ladies on the reception were so helpful. We came by train from Zurich and were happy that we could take the bus to downtown Locarno when we didn’t feel like walking. Will certainly stay here again. Top marks for us.

We had a fantastic time. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the amazing view and the pool. The staff were extremely helpful and had plenty of recommendations for restaurants nearby and things to do. The location is very good, near to everything but in a quiet neighborood. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices. Altogether a great experience that we would definitely go back to!

Beautiful hotel that treats its guests with dedication. Attentive to details and with a great pool to enjoy with the family, a dreamlike garden and very comfortable rooms. The breakfast is varied and fresh, there is always good fruit and they offer oat milk, rice or soya milk, etc. It is a hotel that invites you to come back.

Situated nearby the lungolago that leads to Locarno center. Quiet and peaceful, yet but a 15 min walk to the center. Very nice and friendly welcome, beautiful and very clean rooms with a great view onto the garden and the lake. Very elaborated breakfast that can be enjoyed in the garden.

Clean and nice rooms / good breakfast (even under COVID 19 safety concept). The pool and garden are marvelous. The hotel staff reserved a table in a nearby restaurant for us, which offered great food directly at the lake.

We enjoyed the nice and beautiful garden with the swimmingpool. Employees are very friendly and nice and made a special effort to cope with the special Corona Virus situation in a pleasant way. Try out the E Bikes to discover the region. Hotel has good deals with certain restaurants in Minusio

On the positive side, you’ll find a nice and friendly staff. Also a nice pool with garden. A Ticino Ticket is also provided which allows you to use buses/trains free of charge in the whole canton. Free e-bikes are also available! On the negative, the breakfast is very common. No hand-made jams, no cheese from Ticino, no salmon. Plates are not removed after usage, you need to ask for it. The rooms are the ones of a 3* hotel, no special decoration, bath/shower rather small. The location (Minusio is not Locarno!) is not good...bars and good restaurants are at 30’ walking distance (2 km) or 15’ by public bus considering 10’ to walk to the bus station. A big miss is the absence of restaurant. That’s a clear downside for a 4* hotel. At check-out, you receive an instruction not to give any negative feedback on TripAdvisor...quite strange. Dear Guest We are pleased that you enjoyed our garden with its heated outdoor pool. However, we cannot understand your criticism of our breakfast buffet. There are 3 types of Ticino cheese to choose from, as well as Ticino honey, regional chestnut bread spread and the very popular Ticino bread. Homemade jam would be nice but due to the hygiene regulations we do without it. In addition to cold cuts and fresh egg dishes, there are daily changing smoked salmon, trout fillets, pâté or antipasti. For the afternoon we offer small snacks. Our rooms are equipped with high-quality materials and meet the requirements of a 4-star hotel. The calm location is very much appreciated by our guests. The nearest bus stop is 2 minutes from the hotel and the bus takes only 4 minutes to the centre of Locarno with its restaurants and bars. A ****hotel does not necessarily have to have a restaurant. We recommend the Ristorante Giardino Lago in immediate proximity, there you receive 20% discount as a Remorino guest. In order to sensitize our guests for evaluations we give you a short explanation.
