Hotel Remorino is a small, intimate hotel in an excellent location not far from the lake and lessthan 500 m from the train station. We drove and found adequate parking just in front of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spotless. Housekeeping was exceptional and eager to help with blankets, towels , etc. the furnishings are not luxe but fitting for the style and cost of the hotel. Bathroom was large and modern. Special feature was the balcony. We were on the 3rd floor and enjoyed an obstructed but nice view of the lake. Even more impressive was the garden view. There are tables and chairs set in the garden which had lots of lawn, impressive shrubs and many date palms. There were few plants blooming in late August but we had the impression that May and June were another story. The pool is large and like everything else spotless. There is ample seating in poolside lounge chairs with umbrellas. They serve a rather full breakfast and again everything was tasty and much was sourced locally. In the afternoon you can order lunch, snacks, sweets, and cocktails. The quality and preparation was superb. Finally, the service and staff are also excellent,greeting us every time with a Buon giorno or buena sera. I plan on coming again next year.

Clean and nice rooms / good breakfast (even under COVID 19 safety concept).
The pool and garden are marvelous. The hotel staff reserved a table in a nearby restaurant for us, which offered great food directly at the lake.

Lovely 5 night stay in Locarno. Very clean hotel with lovely breakfast and fantastic service. The staff really went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay and were very accommodating. Thank you !

We prefer smaller boutique hotels for such short trips that offer a decent price/performance ratio, are conveniently located and offer great comfort. Very well connected to public transport by the new Minusio station from where you can take the train without changing to Como or Milano. Also otherwise, the hotel offers everything you really need, decent breakfast, certainly not the opulent buffets you have to build up at 100 and more rooms, but it has had of everything. We didn't miss anything. The room was comfortable with balcony and good beds. It was especially quiet and very clean.

Hotel was tip top. Very clean and well maintained. We appreciated the good service, the pool. The location was very convenient and we were able to walk around numerous restaurants for snaks or dinner. Since the public transport is very well developed, we were able to do without the car at excursions.

We have stayed at the Remorino several times now for a few days and the experience was always very good. The location is very quiet and easy to reach. Thanks to the Ticino Ticket, the car usually stays in the (free) parking lot and we usually walk along the beautiful lake promenade into the center (about 15 minutes). The area also feels very safe in the evenings.

Situated in a very quiet and beautiful location with fantastic views of the mountains and a very clean and presentable swimming pool located in the garden. The rooms were clean, very good, informative, friendly customer service and the breakfast always looked fresh and plentiful. Best of all for us personally was the free usage of the easy and always accessible E-bikes. Easy to ride to Locarno centre, Ascona and everywhere in-between and beyond. We had a fantastic time and would definitely highly recommend the Boutique-Hotel Remorino.

Spent 7 nights here. The hotel is excellent. Great room with large balcony. Breakfast was good. Lovely gardens, very well kept and the pool with 30 degrees was what we really wanted. Ladies on the reception were so helpful. We came by train from Zurich and were happy that we could take the bus to downtown Locarno when we didn’t feel like walking. Will certainly stay here again. Top marks for us.

A hotel with a very beautiful garden and pool area, the rooms are functional and the beds very comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, one of the best we have ever had. Quiet location in Minusio, a 15-minute walk along the lake takes you to Locarno city center. Train station can be reached in 3 minutes on foot, 5 minutes to the center, e-bikes are free but also in demand and sometimes difficult to get hold of, whoever asks first gets their bike, no reservation possible. Selection of frame sizes (S, women) somewhat modest. Conclusion: recommendable hotel, price for a 4* Garni in the upper price segment.
