My stay was perfect, the place is incredibly peaceful and comfortable, ideal for having a perfect off-line days, the pool is fantastic, Constanza is also a very kind host, 100% recommendable to visit.
Individually styled cabañas with an eye for the detail. It's like the owner had built it for her own use. Well equipped. Very well located so you can walk to downtown, but also have your quiet. The views into the valley are unique, both from the cabaña and the nicely arranged pool area. Lovely hosts!
Amazing location. An enchanting place with nice hospitality & great views. Swimming pool(s) was excellent and the surrounding areas were clean and comfortable with welcoming owners. Would definitely recommend.
Last year we stayed at the afrodita cabaña, this year in house krishna for up to 7 passengers. Great place, nicely decorated and a wonderful view of the valley from tue terras. Clean. 2 swimmig pools and even a bar with a barman that makes a great frozen pisco sour. Thanks and hope to stay here again next year.
I can only concur with the positive reviews, the cabañas are really nice. We stayed in Rama which we has a small private pool and great views. We opted to self-cater, the kitchen is appropriately equipped to do that.
Lovely hotel on beautiful rustic property with views of vineyards and the valley hills. Very friendly owners, great swimming pools, and spacious and comfortable beds. Walking distance to town. Highly recommend.
We went here in September 2016, that´s not yet ´pisco season´ so the pisco plantations were not green yet.........but we loved being in this place anyway, because of the silence, away from hectic society. In a lovely clay build cabin, with our own kitchen and mini living room. We also had a great terrace with a view of garden with it´s amazing plants and flowers and ofcourse the Elqui valley, so every day we ended up having a wine and dinner outside. We booked "casa dakini". Elquimista is just outside of town, but at a totally walkable distance from the town´s center where you can have dinner, buy handcrafted products or groceries. The owners Constanza and Justin are just the best, always asking if things were ok and if we needed something else. They also invited us to a flamenco show in some local tavern, where Constanza herself danced and it was great, great vibes and a local feeling. If you are lucky there might be a show when you are there. Make sure you get a massage from Pascualla, she´s the best, and if you offer her a cup of coffee afterwards you can a have great conversation as well! Also bring your own reusable bags because the town is working on a plastic bag ban. We stayed there for 6 days but we would have stayed even longer, it was just great. Everynight star gazing with clear skies. We didn´t go to any observation post to watch stars up close but we were told there was a really good one at half an hours´drive.…
A beautiful location, beautiful cabins. Amazing designed cabins, everything is thought of with great attention to detail. The gardens and pool are also amazing. We were blown away by how the hosts Coni and Justin were so helpful. They really went beyond our expectations, helping us to enjoy Elqui Valley by suggesting activities and going so far as to book them for us. I highly recommend Cabanas Elquimista if you are visiting Pisco Elqui!
Lovely funky houses set on a hill in one of the most fertile Chilean valleys. We stayed at Dakani, the smallest of them all, and absolutely loved the outside terrace, looking over the valley where miles of green vineyards and other crops can be seen, contrasting with the bone dry mountains around. The pools are lovely and the friendly cat, busy hummingbirds, and ecology conscious owners make this place very special. Beware of stairs if you have mobility problems. Also, this place is located at the other end of town (when you are coming from La Serena) and not that easy to find (pay attention to the little Elquimista #1, 2 or 3 signs on the main road). To make this gem perfect, we would just suggest just a few things, like oil, vinegar, salt and pepper in the pantry, and a choice of non allergenic pillows and blankets (although in November it was so hot you could sleep without blanket, with all doors opened). Highly recommended!…
We loved our stay in the Sita house. It was perfect for a couple, with plenty of space and privacy. There is an outdoor patio area with a grill and lights for the evening. The bed was comfortable and there was hot water in the beautifully tiled shower. There is also an outdoor shower by the small, private pool that is on the balcony connected to the bedroom. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, as this was not provided. The room itself exceeded our expectations, and even better was the night sky when the sun went down. We had an amazing view off of the back patio where we could relax and take in some of the clearest skies in the world. Super relaxing, peaceful weekend retreat. It is a short walk to the small town square, and you can easily get to restaurants and bars on foot (probably about 10 minutes walking). The property itself was beautiful too, with a nice big pool that overlooks the gorgeous valley.…
