We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and found it to be awesome. It is a great place to take the family and go fishing or just hang out. The owners and staff are so friends and super helpful. The only draw back we found were the campsites are way to close together for privacy. The boat rentals are...

This is a great place to relax and do some fishing - the fishing as in many lakes can be hot or cold but the lake has some great size lakers and lots of 14 - 16 inch rainbows with some larger, plus kokanee The hosts are over the top friendly. In my opinion the main campground is a little...

We've been coming to Cariboo Bonanza Resort every summer for the last 9 years. We rent the "Swiss Chalet" which is fantastic for our family of 4 plus my inlaws. Bruno and Dora (the owners) are so welcoming and helpful. Our kids have grown up coming here and look forward to it every summer. There's tons to do at the...

We stayed in a rustic cabin for three nights in early September. I have stayed in other "rustic" cabins before, and this had much more than I expected. The owner and family were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very neat and tidy. Hope to do a return trip again next year.

I grew up in Lone Butte and I now live in Ottawa. Every year my family hosts a memorial fishing derby for my younger brother who passed away - he was an avid fisherman and Horse Lake was a local spot for him. People come from all over to either spend the weekend or spend the day in memory of...

We stayed here for a Memorial event for a local man. We were asked to leave, the manager/owner said we don't need locals here. People came from all over Canada for this event, and I am not a local. I think the management only want tourists from outside Canada to visit here. There were 70 people in our group, we...
