Nice simple hotel tucked away in suburbs of Malpensa Airport Nice friendly staff very courteous rooms very basic good enough for a nite not more. Only a Pizzeria Ristorante for dinner it is decent but not like good resturant of a 4 star Hotel & by the way hotel not a 4 star property as listed.

The check-in process was very rushed by the employee at reception. The bed was not comfortable since the mattress had a dent in it on one side. Also, the bathroom shower in room 344 had black mold inside of it. The breakfast is very very basic and cheap.

I stayed here for one night, as a result of a delayed flight and missed connection. Air Italy put myself and maybe 12-15 others up for the night in the SHG Grand Hotel Milano Malpensa. THE ROOM: - Average size, with low end furnishings. - The beds were PATHETIC. The two twin beds were the flimsiest beds I've ever slept in at a hotel. The mattresses are old, and you can feel every spring in the bed. The sheets were rough. - The shower has good water pressure but doesn't drain properly... the shower nearly over flooded before I even got in, so I turned it off and waited for it to drain before showering. - There were power outlets on both sides of the bed, but neither actually worked. I unplugged the TV to charge my phone. CLEANLINESS: - I thought it was OKAY until I opened the shower door in the morning. There was a large bug sitting in the shower, a cockroach or beetle roughly the size of my thumb. I thought it was dead, but it started walking around when I went get it to flush it. - The beds seemed clean enough, I hope. - The towels were used and had holes through them. FOOD: - Dinner was available (they provided us a voucher) but I did not attend. - Breakfast was available, as a small buffet. It was pretty bad. Eggs were inedible. Bacon was undercooked. There were some pastries, cereal, and toast you could take, along with a pot of coffee you could pour for yourself. It was a disappointment. They had packets of Nutella which were good though. STAFF: - The girl at the front desk was very nice, polite, and helpful. - We went to the breakfast buffet, ate a bit, then went for a walk. Since the breakfast was still going when we returned about 10 minutes before the breakfast buffet closed, we went to sit with a friend who was eating. We took another cup of coffee and breadroll with Nutella, and the breakfast attendant woman of course recognized us told us we were only allowed a single breakfast each, not a second time (even though it was a buffet provided by the hotel for our stay). She went to get a manager but never came back. Final notes: - If you're ever stuck in Milan Malpensa overnight due to a delay (the only reason I imagine anyone would go to this neighborhood)... skip this hotel. - There's a Hilton Garden Inn of some sort half a block away... try there instead!

If you need to spend one night before the flight hotel is a good solution for the price they offer. Don't be very pretentious to the rooms. Most of the people sleep here not more than a couple of nights. They are not very new, you can find a bad bug, not perfectly clean. But good and comfortable enough to spend one or two nights. Breakfast is average. Quantity is fine but the quality is far from ideal. For me, it was not tasty at all. But anyway, it is better than the food at the airport ) There is a not secured free parking outside or a garage for 5euros/night.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! ROOMS ARE FILTHY! The room smells like a toilet and the carpet, walls, desk and doors have splashes of some sort of brown liquid. I don't what to know what it is... Very disgusting to look at. I also wish I had read the other reviews as people have recently reported a problem with BED BUGS! I spent $40 on a 10 minute taxi ride from Malpensa Airport since the hotel shuttle refused to pick me up. The booking site clearly states "Free shuttle service, available on demand." After I called to request this "on demand shuttle." I was told that even though I was within their shuttle hours of operation, I needed to reserve the ride 24hrs in advance. WHERE does it state 24hrs in advance??? Once I arrived at the hotel, the 1st receptionist apologized and informed me that all I needed to do was call the hotel and the shuttle would have come to pick me up on their next run (every hour.) Yet the 2nd receptionist insisted that I needed to give them 24hrs notice. Suddenly the 1st receptionists COMPLETELY CHANGED his story and said "on-demand service is the same as 24hrs notice. I really don't know, I've just arrived here at the hotel." UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE. The 2nd receptionist threw a fit! Refusing to write down my name for the airport shuttle for the following morning even though it was available and already reserved for one passenger. The van can hold 6 people. What is the problem??? She began stomping around and raising her voice, I was finally able to at least get her to write down my room # to reserve a ride. RIDICULOUS! PLEASE STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! During my check-out: 2 receptionist were at the check out desk. One other girl whom I didn't interact with yesterday and the 2nd girl from yesterday. The first girl was very pleasant, greeted me with a smile and took my key. The moment I walked away, I heard the 2nd girl say to her colleague "that is the stupid crazy girl from yesterday..." the other replied "ahhh, pazza..." I immediately turned around and received glaring looks and snickers from both receptionist. I had to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes and they made my experience VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I can't believe how UNPROFESSIONAL this place is. You need to do some new training for your colleagues.
