We stayed at Villa Malaspina for a week recently. As the direct flights from our local airport to Verona had stopped we had to fly to Venice and hire a car so I wanted somewhere with free parking near to the town and chose to stay here. We had a very warm welcome from Maurice when we arrived and he...

Very nice quiet hotel in a small town of Verona. Hotel is older and is small. Rooms were nice and clean. They had nice patio in front and back of hotel to sit outside. Indoor pool looked nice. Bar area small. Dinner was very good and service was good. Dining room good size. We were with a tour group. Large...

My partner and I stayed from Thursday - Monday. We emailed the hotel a few days before and they arranged our transfer for us which was very handy. The hotel itself is lovely - the rooms are beautiful - it's very big - the pool is a nice size (not overly large but nice enough for a morning/evening dip!) Sauna...

We stayed two nights at this location during our recent Tour of Italy. The room was a nice size, comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom. I just can't get used to the European shower doors, or lack thereof. Some of the furniture looked to be either antique, or very good reproductions. The beamed ceiling and partially exposed brick added to the...

The hotel has a free of charge shuttle bus connecting to airport, which is handy as it's quite remote. If you are driving it has a good an secure parking area. Rooms are decent, some of them only have a shower. Booking from UK proven to be more expensive than booking from other parts of the world and my friends...

We loved our stay here (unfortunately only one night). The hotel is loaded with charm and character and the attention to detail is wonderful. It's an old building with exposed wooden beams in the ceilings of the rooms (if it was in Toronto, it would be considered a nice boutique hotel and would cost much, much more than it did!)...

This is a converted and re-purposed villa with some beautiful guest rooms. 20 min by cab from Verona city center so unless you have a car, not especially practical. Very nice swimming pool and garden area. Rooms on the 3rd floor have vaulted wood ceilings. Very nice touch. Cab ride was easy, about 20E

So my wife got this package for the sole purpose of going to the Opera in the Arena di Verona. I was not really on board with the hotel stay since we live only 40 minutes away from Verona. Used for an overnight stay before going south. Very good family room and fair price. And the room was very big though the beds and pillows were a bit hard.
