I stayed here with my Dad and a mate for four days in September when we were running the Berlin marathon. From the get go you could tell this was a really special place - family feel, French in cuisine (which is absolutely fantastic by the way - try the fluggensuppe in Cafe de Paris sauce - the best soup I've ever eaten), clean, spacious rooms, nice and quiet location in a suburb just out of Berlin.
First impressions were good, but they were exceeded when we got to know the patron - Raymond - and his family. Friendly, professional, generous, accommodating - the kind of people who would bend over backwards to ensure you have the best time (eg - they got up early to give us a carb heavy breakfast on race day, and left breakfast out for us on Monday until we got out of bed at midday!).
I've not often been moved to write a review after a holiday and usual it's for the wrong reasons but seriously - I highly recommend this hotel and its restaurant. Try it - you'll love... More
