Stayed at The Devonshire for a weekend escape from London and had a brilliant couple of days. The room was perfect, with a huge bathroom and bath tub. The pub had a great atmosphere with both locals and visitors and the food was delicious, great menu and beautifully presented. The staff were the best you could ask for, friendly and... More

We stay in Somerset quite regularly and have somehow missed this restaurant, what a mistake. The food here is excellent and staff are very friendly. The kitchen did make a mistake with my daughter's pasta but they were quick to sort it out. Very impressed, we will be back.

Stayed for one night whilst on business in the area. My colleague and I were made to feel very welcome, the food was excellent and the room was very nice. Overall a great experience and I would return if I am in that area again in the future.

I had goat's cheese with beetroot and rocket. Both snacks were served with tasty local bread from Martock. We shared a... More

We were travelling along the A303 and looking for something close by...... WOW how lucky were we to call Nick. We had a fabulous night at the Devonshire Arms, beautiful room, gorgeous food, well priced quality wine and Nick even accommodated our 5.30am departure with a thoughtful and varied continental breakfast. Nick and the team were so considerate to us... More

Pleasant staff and traditional Georgian country hotel surroundings. Well cooked local fresh food with a touch of class. Not a huge menue but a good and varied selection. I... More
