We visited Castello Di Oliveto and were greeted by Luisa!! We were given a tour of the castle that was built in the 15th century. The castle has original floors and frescos from 15th century!!! This place is truly special. The property is beautiful with so much history. My wife and I booked a lunch time cooking class and it was one of those magical afternoons we will never forget. I visited here as one of a group of thirty. The tour of the winery of the winery consisted of a brief visit to a storage vault. The "pope's bedroom" was simply pointed at. Of the six wines we tasted, only two were superior. The food, pasta followed by veal or turkey, was extraordinarily ordinary.

My wife and I just returned from a 12-day trip to Italy. We spent one week on the property of Castello di Oliveto and found it to be nearly perfect in every manner.
