Christmas dinner was ruined for the whole family. Our booking was missed but luckily they organised a table or unluckily should I say because it was the table was thrown together in the walkway by the buffet section an absolute nightmare. But before then we were rudely told to wait outside because we were 5 minutes early then when we were allowed in to come in the was no body around to show us to our table so we were left wandering around trying to find the table. We were expecting live music, where in fact we were subjected to a broken microphone and it was loud jazz music instead of Christmas songs, they didn’t serve any food individually and the food was shocking for a Christmas dinner costing £60 per head, it was tasteless and like a cattle market trying to get your food which was of a very poor quality, it was appalling so we all left after 40 min hungry and feeling robbed to pay 1800 zloty for 6 people then to be told that we owe extra 40 zloty for three cokes for our children. I tried to raise this with the manager at the time but nobody was interested and we were left just waiting. Avoid this place at all cost…
There is this Gościniec, a sort of an annex with some rooms - a diskoteka under it did not let us sleep till 2-3 in the morning for 2 nights in the row. The receptionist seemed to be familiar with this complaint - she produced a template when I went down to complain (not her fault, I guess): 1) there is information about parties held right under this annex on the website 2) we inform guests about it in an attached Regulations at the reservation and you were informed about it by email. Dear lady! 1) there is NO information about it in the English or Polish version of the website - so you lied. However, it mentions that "During the quiet time hotel guests and other individuals using the services of the hotel are obliged to conduct in a way that will not disturb other people." 2) The only email we received was the confirmation that we paid, AFTER we paid for the room. But hey, good news! Tomorrow a different group (because it's important, right?) will be only partying till max 1 a.m.!…
Maybe its good for families with kids, but not for couples or single travellers. The only thing nice was big breakfast, but only untill 9 am, because it was getting too crowded and too noisy. Swimmingpool too small, byt nice section with water massages.
My boyfriend and I decided to have a day at a spa and since his dad comes here quite often, he recommended us this place. Well, can’t say anything about the hotel but you guys should definitely improve the spa area and make it more efficient. To be in an indoor space it was really cold. There was no sort of connection between the pools and the baths..it all seemed disorganised. Also I get that we are in Central Europe so every occasion is good to make money, but does it kill you to check the price deals in other countries? For example I wouldn’t mind to have spent 10€ for a whole afternoon instead of playing hourly, and an extra fee in case I was 10 min out of the hour. Like seriously?!? Definitely will not return and won’t recommend!
We visited the hotel during February half term. The rooms are very nice although the beds and pillows too soft for our liking. The food delicious, mostly traditional Polish dishes. One of us is a coeliac and the hotel served gluten free meals separately - we had to pay some extra money for that service though. We used the pool, saunas and jakuzzi every day in the morning as everybody else was going skiing and we could use all the facilities freely. In the evening the pool was too packed to swim. Outside there is a big barrel with 37 degrees hot water which you can use all year. Lovely area to go for walks, less than 2 km from Czech border, where you can find a small shop in a tiny village with some Czech goods.
What we found has been dramatically below expectations, to be a 4 stars hotel RESTAURANT AND BAR: 4/10 food quality was ok but only 1 buffet line for hundreds of people. The Lunch of the 24th has been served in a awful room, with plastic dishes, picnic tables (very unstable) and really low quality decoration Lunch of the 24th organize by self service cakes in a small room at 1st floor Dinner served from ~ 17.00 to 19.00 24th Dinner was OK at least Really poor bar, with limited selections (ae no possibility to have a Mohito due to lack of mint) ROOMS 4/10 No way to get hot water and good pressure on the shower in the morning Need to pay additional money for additional pillow Beds of arguable quality (too soft in our case) Wireless signal very low, often out of service Only 1 small shower gel and shampoo for 2 people in 3 days, luckily we had our staff with us ENTERTAINMENT: 2/10 no entertainment for adults, no any disco or equipped game room; billiard table available but all pool cues were broken poor entertainment for kids (but S.Claus on the 24th ) . Program showed entertainment for kids on the 25th, but entertainer did not pop up, hotel informed guests about program change after 2hours from original program start We are used to spend Christmas in hotels, and we found great hotel in Poland where to spend these days (unlikely they were overbooked ), for sure we won’t repeat such experience in Verde Montana…
I have no words to describe the worst service we have received from the Director and workers. Writen in a Web site that they have wifi in every room, they don't have !!!!! They are liars, and agree to make up for their false. Hang up the phone to customers, not share a room change Although we paid the internet. simply bad !!!!! Do not book in this hotel any way. The worst service I have ever received. This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. Do not book that are very disappointing.
Our expirience with spa hotels is totaly diferent. We are part of a big group that travel every year to another spa hotel. On our arrivel to the hotel we were told that dinner is between 4 to 7 p.m, no safety box in the room, Using the safety box in reception is free only if you dont open it till last day,on any other day you have to pay. If you want one more blanket or pillow you have to pay. No termal water in the pools and no hot water pool.no air condition in the rooms. The rooms are nice and the food is good. Generally speaking,we were very disapointed. We were lucky that Kudova and the vicinity is very very nice and our traveling around were wonderfull. I dont know if we shall come again to this area, anyhow not to hotel verde montana/
I expected so much more from this hotel. It was awful -old fashioned. Beds didn't have mattress protectors, tiny sheet on linen slides on the bed and you end up with just mattress underneath. The beds are tiny and not comfortable, rooms are small and just tired.Whole place looks like it's from the 80's. No soap in the shower - if you want some you have to open the shower and try to squeeze it from above the sink - tricky task. Awful place and so expensive for what you get....
The rooms are small and boring. The beds are small, they are more suitable for camping. There is no AC. The food is dull, and often disgusting. Some guests got food poisoning. The lobby is small and uninviting. The pool is below any standards. The hotel staff are rude and unpleasant. The hotel manager is never available to answer guest complaints. The spa treatments are way poorer than any other place we've visited. It's a waste of time. We sought any opportunity to escape this hotel.
